Ok so deal with my copy of Fist of the North Star is quite long winded but essentially, I had originally bought it 2 weeks ago off a reputable e-commerce website and despite promises of dispactching within 24 hours, no such thing happened with my copy. I waited 3 days, gave up and submitted a cancellation request and went to an Ebay seller selling it cheaper. Well of course I get an email back from them saying my order already been submitted so I couldn't take it back.

Long story short, my copy of FotS did come within 3 days. This other company, the much biggger one? Sent out a dispatch email yesterday telling me to expect it arriving within a week. Got an email this morning to say that there was an unknown error in delivery and it still hasn't been sent out, with no confirmed date.

Never ever shopping there again, which is ok cause I rarely do anyway. So now as my item has been 'dispatched' I've been charged for it, and yet nobody knows what's happened to the order itself. Soon as it arrives, I'm sending it straight back for a full refund.

I don't know about a XBL release but it will be released along with Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi and Sega Bass Fishing on the Sega Dreamcast Collection in February.

You know how Valve and Blizzard to that effect are with releasing products. Blizzard is changing that with Starcraft but the history for both companies with releasing games is long as hell. Reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D. Speaking of which, that is finally planned to be released. Holy crap world.

After watching the commentary stuff with orange box it sounds like the way they make a game like Half Life with such an immersive world and to have the the player always in control takes an amazing amount of work and play testing. They probably figured out they could focus more on other projects and sell just as much.

But Half Life is their baby, so whenever they do bless us with something new there it will be amazing and revolutionary no doubt.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have to whip out my Doom CD just to remind myself of how far we've come just since I was a kid.
