The Unforgiven PPV wasn't that bad. Nitro vs. Hardy was very very good. Hardy sold the leg like a man. For his first PPV since returning to the WWE, it was a very good showing. Too bad the WWE screwed it up on Monday with that horrible 6-way dance match. They should have used it to try to aknowledge Jeff is truly back and a force to be reckoned with, but it just turned out to be a cluster fuck.
The Hell in a Cell match was good. Shane sold the Pillmanization of his neck like a genius. With that look in his eye and the blood coming out of his mouth, I thought for a while that his neck was frickin' broken. The Big Show assface was funny, it it seemed weird coming right after the Shane O Mac was supposed to have broken his neck. I was thinking that the DX feud would have been over, but then on Monday they have DX vs ...... Murdoch and the Redneck? WTF! DX is reduced to feuding with a fat Texan and a hick Southerner? WWE has made a ton of money on the endless stream of Vince vs. Shawn, Vince vs. HHH, Vince and Shane vs. DX, Spirit Squad vs. DX, and Big Show vs. DX series. They should just let this thing die.
Trish vs. Lita wasn't bad. When they took the dive from the top rope to the floor and Trish tried to land on her outstretched arm, I had a flashback to the Wrestlemania match where the same thing happened and Trish broke it. That would've been a horrible way for this match to end. I loved the crowd reaction to the sharpshooter. It came as a surprise, and should seal this match in the historybooks.
Edge vs. Cena was better than expected. The FU on double-tables ending was predictable though. The STF sandwitched between the ladder looked awesome. And Edge's spill from the 16-footer onto two tables outside the ring looked sick - his upper back and neck seemed to miss the tables and hit the floor. And damn it, I wish the fan that caught Cena's shirt just threw it right back at him, like at the ECW debut show.
