damn, gamestop texted me earlier this evening saying to be at the store by 6pm ( ) monday to complete my pre-order transaction (i found out the the pre-orders are basically 'lay-away' type things, and since i always pay mine off early, they just have to swipe my gamestop card to complete the transaction, they give me my final receipt with my number in line, then at 12 they give out the game according to your number)...i guess they got a shitload of pre-orders (for gears 3 & bf3 they said to be there by 10)

but i've already got 30 minutes of double xp thanks to mountain dew and doritos (plus i still have another mountain dew - so it'll be 45 minutes  :twothumbs )

can't wait for the game Tuesday! btw, how many minutes does i give you off a cap of mountain dew and doritos? I'll probably just level up to 50, prestige and cut it off.

^ i kinda figured it would be around 10-15 minutes.

I got at least 7 caps(would have had two doritos bags if mom haven't thrown them away yesterday), still I should have enough to pull it off. I got coupons off the grocery store where I can get two bottles of dew for a buck :)

Yes I have problems with the Elite application too but it's working for me now.

Well what can I say, I'm hooked again! First match was a bit of an eye opener cause it plays a lot faster than Black Ops. You die quicker too. I guess it's more like MW2 in that respect but then cause my disc was scratched, I hadn't played that kind of game in over a year so I guess the familarisation was quicker to some than others. Least that's my excuse XD I did terrible in the first Free For All match, kept getting kills but once I was able to create a custom class and use the M4A1, I fell back into the swing of things, winning the next 3 games.

Then I went on with friends of mine in a Demolition game and man, we owned. I used the Recon Drone and kept tagging the enemy team and made it so easy for the rest of ours. So satisfying to use. Liking the Support Strike Package a lot as it doesn't reset killstreaks and I like the more support orientated killstreaks anyway. Though I will definately go back to Assault and use the AC-130 like in the good ol MW2 days. But on that Demolition map came this epic moment. We were attacking in the first round, it went all the way down to the clock and someone finally planted at the remaining bomb site. We rushed and did our best to defend it, but we were rappelled back. Most of us were rushing back but we figured we had lost it. When suddenly, all I could hear was this 'WHOOOOSH' and then the realisation that a mate of mine had fired a Javelin missile and it landed and killed 4 people at once which meant we won the match. Easily one of the most epic moments ever and I've uploaded the whole match to my vault

^ you got PS3 right? how does that work with the Elite app?

haven't used any of my points and at lvl 12 right now..just getting my ass kicked in multiplayer. btw, Tuffty was right about prestiging at lvl 80. that's just a load of BS about having to go that high. I was happy about when Black Ops had you prestiging you at lvl 50.

they also went ahead and announced another COD game for next year. this will be interesting how they will top this one.
