Sweet play by Horcoff tying 4 assists in a period record set by Gretz, Messier, and Kurri. Plus Ryan Smyth got 2 goals tying him with Paul Coffey for 5th all time in team history. I never knew that fucker could roof it like that.

And Jiri's been released from the hospital now, he's relaxing at home. That's the kind of thing that doesn't matter what sport you play - its the coming together of the people that saves lives that is more important when we need each other.

They were talking about all those times they had emergency situations on the ice. Like Chris Pronger getting a puck in the chest and his heart stopped. Or guys skates slashed open their neck. Even with all the gear on, athletes are just vulnerable like you or me.

On a more positive note, I'm beating all ur asses in the NHL Fantasy League!! No one picked up McCabe? HA!

Ethan Moreau scored the winner, ... Oilers keep rolling 4-3 over the Wild. Laraque got a good fight in too. Friday's matchup against the Flames is must watch hockey.

Well, what you NHL watchers think about new shootout rule? We have had it 2-3 years now in Finland, and I think it sucks. After a tight match, winner is decided by random

Holy fuck, Joe Thornton to the Sharks for Wayne Primeau, Marco Sturm, and Brad Stuart? San Jose got the better side of that trade, thats for sure. Although probably not a salary cap issue, since Joey is a former 1st round overall pick.
