I think a Packers vs Pats Superbowl matchup would be pretty interesting.

Hard for me to say this but, Congrats to the Giants, they did their thing and won the game. This is another disapointing end to a good season the cowboys had. Wade phillips still believe the wrong team one that game, but WE LOST.

Eli has finally arrived, lol and his older brother is home watching.
I am picking the giants to go to the superbowl, they are good on the road and the green bay packers cant avoid that. But if the weather is the same as the seahawk its going to be tuff.

To bad for romo..again..

A superbowl machup of giants and chargers would be...I dont know...boring I guess.

Well aint it pretty obvious that Pats are gonna beat the Chargers? One should never say never, but I think they'll walk right through them. Unfortunately. :(

Pats vs Packers @ supabowl and Green Bay taking it home. That'd be something. But i can bet my left butt cheek that Pats are taking the bowl. They just look unstoppable. :|

Packers and Patriots look to be the 2 healthiest teams right now so it looks like thats how its gonna end up. But then again, The chargers have a pretty good pass rush off the edge with Phillips And Merriman, and now that chromartie is starting, they may have someone who can defend against that jump ball to Moss. As good as the Patriot Offense is, their defense is vulnerble against the run but you don't see it much because the Pats take the lead and everyone is caught playing catch up. . They also have some small corners. I'd go to Vincent Jackson over Ellis Hobbs all day. As much as i'd like to see the Pats go undefeated and make Mercury Morris eat his words, I wanna see Lt get a ring more.

The Pat's fans think Tom Brady and his Patriots of their all high and mighty, are unbeatable with their perfect record. I'm sorry, but NOBODY is perfect.

The Bolts will do their homework this week and believe you me, last years game is still fresh in their minds, especially LT's.

I like the match ups.

Moss vs Cromartie:
--the snow will not allow double moves. im betting on a pick or two

Maroney vs our defensive front:
--this may decide the game, it could go either way

LT or Turner vs their defensive front:
--this is a win for us. no way they can bang with our O-Line playing like they have for the last 2 months

Brady vs Lights out:
--i'd like to see him turn his back on Merriman while holding the ball. I cringe at the idea of watching America's sweetheart end up disfigured.

Let's pray LT, Rivers and Gates mend quickly and that their injuries aren't too significant! Although we won without them, it would be nice to have a full compliment, fully cocked and loaded team on Sunday.

Go Chargers!

Aaah meowchi is confident! WOOO! Seriously, LT, Rivers and Gates definitly needs to heal up. I really wanna see them play on Sunday, and at their best. It's gonna be exciting that's for sure. I'm actually a bit nervous already, but yo, don't ask me who I'm rooting for, lol. I'm a Swede and I'm a slut, I can legitimately go either way at any time. Pats being my first (newb) favorite team doesn't really mean anything tho. So I think i'ma hafta slut out and go with the Chargers on Sunday, mostly coz it's more fun rooting for the underdog. That and the fact that Chargers vs Packers would be my ultimate supabowl. Yeah baby!

Oh I hope I'll see y'all in the chat on Sunday for some serious WOOOO-ing. Beers are on me!

"The Chargers got killed in week 2 they will get killed again."
I'm sure you guys heard at least one person say this. The Chargers played AWFUL in that game. They were at the beginning of 5-5 season where they were still getting used to Norv and Ted. Also at this point Cromartie hadn't emerged as one of the best CB in the NFL.

A lot of of peeps think our defense sucks because we give up a ton of yards- but we lead the NFL in turnovers for a reason - and those reasons showed up in the indy and tenn games. Pressure can affect the perfection of a passing game.

If the Patriots can protect the ball, then they should win, but the ball is shaped oblong for a reason and you never know which way it will bounce. So yes, we do have a chance to upset the high an' mighty Patriots.
Statistically over the past 8 weeks, the Chargers have outperformed the Pats... just goes to show how different this team is to the one that got stomped in week 2.

17-0? The best team very rarely wins the SB. Were the Colts the best team last year? Were the Steelers the best team before that? Were the 01 Patriots really better than the Rams? Were the Broncos better than the Packers? I'd have to say no to all of these.
Say we beat the Patriots, does one game make everyone believe San Diego is the best team in the league? The best team doesn't always win.

For a little history, here's something interesting to think about:

In 2003 the Patriots had the best record in the NFL, in 2004 they won the SB.
In 2004 the Steelers had the best record in the NFL, in 2005 they won the SB.
In 2005 the Colts had the best record in the NFL, in 2006 they won the SB.
In 2006 the Chargers had the best record in the NFL, in 2007 they ...?

Guess we'll find out.

Everybody is sleeping on the NFC. The Packers have the best corner tandum in the league. They don't allow free releases, if they were to play the Patriots, Brady would have to work for every completion.

WHOOPS!! Hey, EPIC takes meow - YOU show em how it's done! That's some creepy as F YO COUCH stats. That means the Pats will still win a superbowl sometime. lol FUCK!

Here's my late ASSessment that I was gonna write last week but someone had to turn 23.

EPIC play by Brett Favre. I been rooting for him all season as he broke records, made doubters into believers of his core of weapons. Then he shovel passes in the snow as he's falling on his face?

Look at who's also a Romosexual! Cowboys had EVERY chance to win man.

With the NFC championship on the line, it won't be that easy. Antonio Pierce and Michael Strahan will be running all over the place. What Favre needs to do is hit those weak ass corners...tho they kept TO in check. Props to him for running on one stick again. Glenn was a step behind and Romo couldn't counter Manning's big day. But mark my words, The Mannings are gonna enjoy the super bowl at home and NOT in Phoenix.

AFC on the other hand. SHIT the Pats look too good. Randy Moss and his spiderman jammies will make Cromartie run in circles. Shawne Merriman BEST break Tom Brady - make all his kids flinch. Gisele pack your shovel, it's gonna be a long haul. The X FACTOR will be Michael Turner. Rivers all shrouded in whether he'll start or not lmao

DAMN! That was last weekend. This Sunday is gonna be OFF THE CHAIN! O0

You can't keep a legend down for long! Packers defending the cold turf of Lambeau Fields vs the Giants. I got Packers in a laugher. 34-14

Chargers have it in tough with the Pats but I'm rooting for ya. AVENGE the Eagles loss in Super Bowl XXXIX

SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTNING BOLT! See y'all in the IRC starting 3PM EST. LIGHTNING BOLTS side to side :shakeit:

NFC - Giants vs Packers

I'm rooting for the Packers to win this game. Favre is having one helluva season and it would be awesome if he had the opportunity to
de-rail and de-throne the Patriots in the Superbowl. Should be a close one though, as the weather is cold as hell in the frozen tundra that is Lambeau field. If Grant can run against a stingy defensive front then they can snatch the dub. Hopefully 20-17 Pack.

AFC - Chargers vs Patriots

How will this turn out? Well the favorites are the Pats by a large margin.  So I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats beat them by a good chunk.  I'm not a Chargers fan, but I'm sick of the Patriots winning.  How boring is it see to another Pats win? it's so redundant and mechanical.  And if they do win, they will be shoved down our throats as the "The Greatest Football team ever created!" as a Niner fan I don't want that.  Please somebody step up and beat these terminator's so that the City of Chump's can be silenced for once.
Cromartie vs Moss should be one helluva a matchup.  Bolts and their D have a chance if they let Merriman loose on the Golden Boy.  And River's can talk all the smack he wants to if he can just put up points to match a record-breaking Pats offense.  I'm rooting for the Charger's in this game.

Go Packers!
Go Chargers!

It supposed to be a windy day so Passing for the Patriots won't be an easy task. Looks like we'll be seeing alot of Maroney VS LT, M.Turner, and the uncredited D. Sproles. Chargers have the backs hands down. I either wanna see LT get a ring or Favre go out on top. GO CHARGERS!, GO PACKERS!.
