I can't believe Man U didn't win against Newcastle today, we had loads of chances to score but just couldn't get the third. Newcastle had hardly any chances yet they scored 2. The first from milner was a good goal but the 2nd from Edgar was so lucky.

Let's hope that chelsea slip up again against Aston Villa.

I don't see how a draw leads to a 'massive boost' for Chelsea. They still have to win today and even if they do, we still have 4 points ahead.

Jose Mourinho believes Manchester United have wasted a golden opportunity to open an almost unassailable lead over Chelsea in the race for the Barclays Premiership title.

hmm, I can think of another team that failed to grasp an opportunity to play catch up to the league leaders just last night...

I said it before and I'll say it again. Shevchenko is rubbish playing in the English League. One on one against the goalkeeper, who wasn't even a goalkeeper to start with, Macclesfield's goalkeeper was sent off earlier and the team captain replaced him after finding they didn't have a sub goalie, and Shevchenko still couldn't score. But anyway, Chelsea still win 6-1. Must be hard playing against a club who's in the relegation zone of one of the very bottom lower leagues and didn't even have a certified goalkeeper in nets.

I was sooo close to winning over £100 on the bets today. My predictions just kept going true, Portsmouth, Fulham, Hearts and Boston were all winning. Then in the final minutes of injury time, Leicester equalise against Fulham. Gutted. Never been so close to winning in my life. I'm never buying Walker's Crisps again :P

Larsonn's first game for United tomorrow!! Cannot wait

Always good to see a United fan who also likes good music! :D I think Rooney is playing well enough at the moment. I've always said Rooney's not an all-and-out goalscorer, he provides helpful support to those who can (Ruud, Saha, Solskjaer and now Larssonn)

Fergie says United always goes through life the hard way. That way, at least we earn the trophy as opposed to cruising through by playing clubs in the Lower Leagues (ahem). Exciting to play bigger clubs if anything.

Arsenal 6 - 3 Liverpool

Frightening. Arsenal's team consisted mainly of youth team players and Liverpool had the majority of their first team players out. Judging by the performance tonight, if that squad sticks together for the next few years...Oh Christ.

Well, I always thought that after he lost his place at madrid, the only place left for him would be LA, though I was still amazed by the huge amount of money the Americans offered him. Good lcuk to him, after all, he've served us really well for a good seven/eight years. And I'm sure that Posh would love his new work environment.

L.A envrionment you mean. Even better to live in Tinseltown when you've got friends in high places, even if they are scientologists.

^ It's just that Peter Kenyon. Screws us around by dilly dallying on Ronaldinho etc then stabs us in the back with a dagger made out of £ at his new joint every chance he gets.

But thinking about it, and after hearing about what other people have said, I'm no longer worried, why would he want to go to a team in disarray and made up of 19 central midfielders anyway when he can join the team at the top of the table who's displayed a further interest?

^add to e fact that he WANTS to play for man u, i say he's not going to agree moving to chelsea even if bayern agrees.

If the deal do go through, ill love to see who supplies those crosses for ballack to head in, who will weave and cut defences apart  Then we'll see chelsea only attacking head front from the centre making them 2 dimensional team.

I'm half sitting on the fence on this one, while he was really good at the world cup, the inflated value placed on him is starting to freak me out, we've already paid too much for carrick, do we really need another high-priced central midfielder?

And him moving to Chelsea, would probably just create more unrest in that Chelsea side, Makelele is probably still the best defensive midfielder in the premiership, Lampard has to start, so it'll be essien, ballack and Hargreaves fighting for one position? (not to mention Mr. Mikel)

ANd he could well be another flop lke Sheva, so I don't know, maybe it is best if Chelsea gets him for liek 26+ mil pounds.

Easy win. Another 3 points for the Champs. But I'm never watching Man Utd on RTE (Irish TV station) again. Or if so, it will be on mute. Because the commentary is so anti-United I'm surprised they're even allowed on. Here's a couple of highlights:

- "Carrick isn't playing well today.." (This was after Carrick had scored a goal and assisted the 3rd)

- "Poor effort by Rooney.." (This was after Rooney took a shot from the edge of the penalty box and hit the crossbar)

- "That's good, we needed that.." (When Aston Villa scored)

Pathetic. The whole match it was bitch, bitch, bitch about how United doesn't play as well as they could do. If our worst is to win and score 3 goals, I wouldn't worry about it.
