Lee Hyori, who previously stated that she will release her fourth album in 2010, has changed her mind and will be releasing a new album in October of 2009.

Although no exact plans have been released, M-Net Media has announced that they have officially decided to pull forward the release of her fourth album. For the sexy queen’s upcoming album, Lee Hyori will once again be working with composer/producer, E-Tribe. For those of you that are unfamiliar with E-Tribe, do the hit songs “Gee” and “U-go-girl” ring a bell?

With news of Ivy planning a comeback sometime during November or December, could it be that Lee Hyori changed her comeback date to challenge Ivy again? It’s certainly in the realm of possibility since Lee Hyori actually released a single around the same time as Ivy released an album back in 2007. As a fan of Lee Hyori, I vote there’s no competition between the two, especially with Ivy’s drop in popularity due to her countless scandals.

I have to admit I'm still pretty new to Kpop - but even as a novice I have heard of this gorgeous woman - that's the primary reason I took an interest in her at first to be completely honest. I liked her last album - It's Hyorish - and loved the song "My Life" -

Thanks for the news about the new album - whenever it comes out I'll be sure to snatch it up.
