Chapter 13Sayumi’s POVI was too stunned, I couldn’t even move. My whole body seemed as if it was frozen. Everything felt like it was in slow motion, and the only question that was running through my mind was “Is Risa kissing me right now?”
It was like a dream come true, I’ve always wanted her to kiss me, but it never happened…Until that day. I’m the one who made the first bold move, and got rejected.
“Risa, I think I’m in love with you…” I bravely confessed,
“Sayu, I’m sorry…” got rejected,
the end.
I’ve never been rejected before, so I didn’t know how it would feel like, and let me tell you something, it hurts, it hurts really bad. Especially If the person who rejected you is dear to your heart. I’m not going to lie and say I wasn’t jealous when I found out that she was dating Kei, because I was.
When that son of a bitch started going out with her, she stopped hanging out with me, she stopped calling me everyday, she stopped trying to make me laugh when I’m feeling down, and most of all, she stopped caring about me. That was all because of that bastard. I hate him, from the very start I knew he was a playboy, always changing girlfriends, or should I say ‘whores’? That’s why I seduced him, to show Risa the unfaithful douche bag he really is. I knew she was going to get hurt, but I had to do it. It needed to be done, for her sake.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT TURNS INTO REUNION…
The news about me trying to end my sad and miserable life was everywhere. Can’t a person try to kill themselves without having their faces on every fucking news paper the next day, not to mention live broadcast of their attempt. Great! Now, I can’t leave my house without a paper bag on my head. And what’s with the headline? Reunion? What fucking reunion? Get your facts straight! Risa and I are not…a couple.
I understand that suicide is a big deal in Japan: it has the highest rate of any first world country blah blah…but I’m going to ask you a question, and I want you to answer me honestly. Would you care if I killed myself?
“Of course!” she answered looking directly into my eyes.
“Would you care if Ai-chan killed herself?” I asked again not willing to break the eye contact. Her eyes winded as tears started to build up.
“What?” her voice became weak and shaky.
“Risa, why are you doing this to her? Don’t you know that she’s in love with you?” she looked away as she tried to blink back her tears. I reached and cupped her face with my hands, forcing her to look into my eyes again.
“She tried to kill herself you know? Reina called and told me everything, she even scolded me, but that doesn’t matter. What matter is: even thought Ai-chan told me that she doesn’t want to see you again, that she hates you. I don’t think she means it, she’s still in love with you.”
I wanted to say more, but was stopped by two hands on my waist and a face buried in the crook of my nick as I felt my shirt getting wet from her tears. “Sayu, I love her so much…” she said between sobs. “Cry all you want, I’ll still be here, I promise.”
I was happy that she finally let it all out, and the only thing I could do was hold her tight and assure her that everything will be alright.

Ai’s POV
“Why aren’t you dressed yet?”
“Just a second!”
“We’re gonna be late!”
“I said I’m coming!”
I was about to squeeze the life out of her. I wasn’t in a good mood to begin with, and her nagging didn’t help. I quickly finished my make up and walked out of my room. I decided to wear something simple:
Blue jeans with a brown leather belt, white buttoned shirt and a loose white sweater on top of it. I have to admit, I looked pretty cute…or at least I thought I looked cute.
“You’re seriously not gonna wear that, right?” she started scanning my body from head to toe.
“What’s wrong with it? And stop looking at me like that!”
After staying silent for a minute, she smiled and winked at me. “Nothing. come on, let's go.” She linked arms with me as we walked out.
Okay, that was random. I thought to myself raising a brow.

“You’ve got to be kidding me! I thought you said a park, not an AMUSEMENT park!” I can’t believe she lied to me. She knows how much I hate crowded places. I turned and was ready to leave, but she reached out and grabbed my arm. “I know you’re mad at me right now, but please just hear me out…”
She waited until I cooled down and then continued. “You’ve been going through a lot lately, and I hate seeing you like this. You rarely smile, and even if you do smile, I know you’re faking it. So please, let’s just have some fun today, and forget about everything. You and I, just like the good old days. Okay?”
When she noticed that I was about to cry, she gave me a deadly bear hug. “Ai-chan, you’re not gonna cry, right?” she asked as she squeezed. “How…Can…I...cry when you’re…suffocating me?” I said trying to get air into my lungs. She finally let go, and I could breathe again. She’s too strong for her tiny body. “I’m not going to cry, just please don’t do that again.” She stuck her tongue out and then started walking. “Reina, you’re the best.” I giggled as I followed her.

Reina’s POV Where the hell are they? I thought we had agreed to meet here at 7 pm sharp. My mind was somewhere else, but I could still feel her eyes on me. “Reian, are you okay? You seem distant.”
Yes, I am distant. I just hope Miss ichiban kawaii didn’t forget about our plan. “I’m fine.” I turned to face her with a smile. She smiled back as she turned her attention to the ice cream she was holding. “I love ice cream~!” I couldn’t help but grin, she’s too adorable. As I was busy staring at Ai-chan, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took out my phone and flipped it open. Sayu had sent me a message.
“I know you’re probably wondering where the heck are we, but please before snapping the phone shut, let me explain… while we we’re on our way, I saw this really cute jacket that will match my kawaii fuzzy boots, so when I went to the store, there was only one left and I just HAD to buy it before that ugly woman did. So yeah, that’s why we’re late. Okay, bye~!
Oh, right now, we’re entering the gate…”I cursed under my breath as I snapped my phone shut. As I was waiting patiently, Ai-chan stood up and said: “I’m going to the toilet. Wait here, don’t move. I nodded as watched her disappear into the crowd.
From far away, I could see a person in pink waving their hand. “Sayu…” I could recognize her anywhere. I stood up waiting for her to get closer.
“Reina-chan!” she exclaimed as she gave me a hug. When we both backed away, I started searching for the person I’ve been waiting for the most. “Where is she? Don’t tell me that she didn’t come!” I said anger rising inside of me. “Don’t worry; she needed to use the toilet.” Sayu assured.
I just hope this works…---
Risa’s POVAs I was walking, I bumped into someone, and we both fell on our butts. “Watch where you’re going, dammit!” I said irritated as I tried to get up. “I’m sorry I didn’t see you.” The other person apologized, which made me feel bad for raising my voice. “Here, let me help you.” I offered my hand, and the person gladly accepted it.
“Thanks, look I’m really sor – “
Oh my god!
“R-r-risa!”
“Ai-chan!”
