a look back......

The success of the kids who started out together and then became Berryz and C-ute can be partially attibuted to the quality of the songs they were given.

Special Generation as a song really has some great hooks, and it was amazing what a fine job was done by a group of middle school students (and a couple of elementary school students); the girls put in a lot of work and training to produce one of the finest idol songs around. Here is the Dance version (Berryz' 6th single, released in March 30, 2005:

After C-ute, it was only natural Berryz gets a turn at the audition interview remakes. Once again, for comparison:

Even though they've already been to America twice, I wouldn't mind seeing them again (preferrably closer to home). They look so much better in person than on any DVD or YouTube video or magazine.

Plus Momochi misses us already.

Today was the last Kaette Kita Berryz Kamen (帰って来たベリーズ仮面！) show, well two shows plus one final.
The new shows have yet to be aired on tv so it's not over completely but there won't be any new ones.
Also 10/18 there will be a commentary stream for the shows from today, on 10/15 the commentary stream for cat's eye stage play. 1575 yen each.

Thumbs of 2 and final as teaser/spoiler :p

At the end there was a pun, maybe a hint, that cutie ranger (キューティレンジャー) will replace them
