So I heard GMF's PV is going to be a 34-minute drama with Acchan, Yuko, Takamina and Yukirin taking the lead roles.

Apparently, they all have some kind of drama going on with their lives (Acchan's a child of divorce, Yuko's working as a prostitute, Takamina's a construction worker [lol!!!] and Yukirin's a bullied girl) and their homeroom teacher suggests they form a band. Is anyone else reminded of Sakura kara no Tegami?

Anyone excited for this?

About the characters, they used other surnames... it looks like will be this:

Atsuko Ogata (Atsuko Maeda): Her parents are divorced. His father is an alcoholic so Atsuko nececidades was working on a part-time job to help with household expenses.
Minami Ichikawa (Takahashi Minami): A troublemaker INCAP to finish anything he starts. currently working on the construction.
Yuki Kobayashi (Kashiwagi Yuki): Victim of "Bulling" small, brings carrying that trauma ever since.
Yuko Osawa (Oshima Yuko): Due to the debts of his family is forced to work as a prostitute to pay off debts. He hates himself and the world for them.

I love the PV. It's a bit more simpler than some, but that's totally understandable considering we now know that there's gonna be a much longer version. But it still rocks cause as most of us had hoped for, it has the girls playing their instruments. I like that it's also interspersed with little moments of the lives of the girls characters for this.

Just a bit of personal preference but the subject matter sounds a little heavy for my tastes. I generally don't like my idol stuff to be quite so sombre. I'd have preferred a slightly lighter story but thats just me being picky. Overall I'm really looking foward to seeing what this delivers

Apparently GIVE ME FIVE is supposedly plagiarized from the song "Minami Kaze no March" by Watariguchi Tomonori. Tomonori's said to have filed a complaint about this, but AKB48 staff hasn't commented on the matter.

On G+ Aki-P apparently said something along the lines of AKB, SKE, and NMB each having their own band version of Give Me Five. Does this mean Sayanee guitar?

Sayanee also posted on G+ about Give Me Five instrument rehearsals, especially for the brass section, and since she's not in instruments for the senbatsu version it looks like something's going on.

Aaw, plagiarism... That sucks, but it doesn't take away my love for the song (heavily rotating on my iPod as we speak).
It seems like there's always a rumor of plagiarism plaguing all songs these days...

This is exactly the kind of song I like the best, I love it already.

I always seem to prefer the slower songs, Seishun to Kizukanai Mama was my favorite from Furage and Gondola Lift from Kazefui.

I've always loved AKB's ballads, and this SGB is no exception.

It doesn't evoke the same (tear-jerking) feeling as Gondola Lift, but it does possess that melancholic touch of a sakura song, like Sakura no ki ni narou and somewhat like Seishun to kizunakanai mama.

Now I'm hoping for an equally beautiful PV to accompany this.
