IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND"Minami..where are you?.." Acchan stood outside in front of the cinema, waiting for her beloved best friend.Once again she was disappointed Takamina didn't keep her promise to show up on time.
"Sold out! In two more minutes the movie will start.” the ticket box guy announced.
Acchan was aggravated and began pacing back and forth, suddenly her phone rings. She picks it up and it was Takamina. "Where are you!? The movie is about to start!" Acchan shouted through the other line."
"Calm down Atsuko I'm already here, I just can't find you through this big crowd." Acchan was upset. She knew that Takamina was lying because she was the only person standing outside the theater."Wait! I think I see you now.”
"Okay, what am I wearing then?" Acchan questioned her.
"Uh..uh-uh.." Takamina stuttered. She was unable to answer because she was trying to stall time before she got there.
*Sighs* "You always let me down." she whispered before hanging up.
"Hello? Hello!? Atsuko, are you there!?" Hearing no response, she knew her pal was mad at her for lying.
"Senpai what are you doing here by yourself?" an unknown voice called out to Acchan from a distance. She didn't know who it was until that person got a bit closer.
"Oh! Hi Sayanee, I'm actually here waiting for someone...how about you?"
"I was doing some shopping around the area."
"Are you doing anything else today?"
"Not really Senpai, I'm just strolling around."
"Well I have an extra ticket, would you care to join me?"
"Eh! Really Senpai!?" Sayanee shouts in excitement."But what about the person you're waiting for?"
"Honestly I don't think she's even going to show up." Acchan said in a sad voice.
"Are you talking about Takamina-san?"
"Uhn.." she replied with her eyes trailing the ground in front of her.
“Would she mind?"
"No, I don’t think so. I was making her come with me so we can spend quality time together because we rarely get to see each other anymore. But now I don’t even want to see her or talk to her."
"Aw, don’t say that. I’m sure she has her reason.” Sayanee smiled. Her smile was contagious so Acchan smiles too. Just as the two girls made their way inside, Takamina happened to show up at the same time in a cab.
“Eh! Who’s that girl Acchan is with? Somehow I feel hurt when I see her with someone else besides me.This unknown feeling...what is it?” Takamina thought.
“Excuse me sir! I’m here to meet a friend. She just walked inside and she is holding my ticket.”
“I’m sorry but I can’t let you in unless you have a ticket in hand. The girl who just walked in only had two tickets and she brought someone else in with her.”
As soon as the guy told her that, She felt her blood boiling inside of her.
“Why would she ask me to come if she ends up going with someone else! I guess it’s my fault too but still, I made it here after all.”
After that Takamina went straight home. She called Acchan’s cell phone non-stop to tell her that she’s sorry but the calls kept going to voicemail. So she finally gave up and went to bed.
Next Morning at Practice Aki-P announced that NMB will be collaborating with AKB in a performance, so they had to practice together.“You girls are their seniors; please look after them.” He stated.When the announcement was finished, Takamina started looking for Acchan. It was a challenge to find her today since there were so many girls in one studio. Just when she spotted her she sees her with Sayanee and two other members.
“Sayanee your boobs are so cute! Can I squeeze it?” Acchan giggled.
“Sure Senpai! Since you showed me a good time last night, you can do whatever you want.” Sayanee laughed.
“Let’s call you Oppai-chan!” Acchan chuckled giving it a squeeze.
“Ehh..What did you guys do last night?” Milky asked concern.
“We went to see a movie together.” Sayanee answers happily.
“What! Without me!?” Minegishi pouted. “Oh I get it. It was a date! Wasn’t it?”
“No,no..” Acchan replies and blushes and so does Sayanee.
From Afar Takamina overheard everything. “So it was Sayanee who was with her..Gah, why am I feeling jealous? This never happens with any other members.Why is it happening now??? Do I like Atsuko or something? UGH.” After eavesdropping, Takamina decided to just stay away. “She seems so happy with her new friend.”
“You guys want to hang out after practice?” Sayanee asks Acchan and Milky.
“I don’t want to be the third wheel!” Milky pouted.
“Third wheel? It’s not a date Milky. But I guess if you feel that way you can ask someone else to come.”
“Who are you going to ask to be your date?” Acchan teased Milky.“Erm…” she hesitated to answer.
“Maeda-san, do you think Takamina-san will say yes to me if I asked?” she asks shyly turning red.
To her surprise, Acchan was shocked that she wants to ask Takamina. Feeling a bit jealous, she mumbled “Why…Takamina? She’s no fun.”
“What was that Maeda-San?” Milky asked looking confused.
“Oh. I said I’m sure she will say yes.”
“Oh Okay! I will ask her now.” Milky went over and asked Takamina to hang out with her and the other two.
“I guess Acchan didn’t tell her about our quarrel. It will be awkward but I can't say no to her.” Takamina thought.
After practice they couldn’t decide what to do so they went to the ocean to enjoy the nice summer breeze. Still Acchan didn’t say a word to Takamina at all and
avoided her the whole time. Milky on the other hand kept clinging to her arms like they were a couple.
Suddenly Sayanee stopped for some icecream at the stands.“What flavor do you guys want?” she asked, so she can order for them.
“Chocolate!” Acchan and Takamina says at the same time. Takamina smiles at Acchan while Acchan glares back at her.
“Strawberry!” Milky answered last. They sat on two different benches enjoying their icecream. Sayanee on one with Acchan and the other with the other two.
“Sayanee, how does your tastes?” Acchan asked.
“It’s really good, you want to try it?”
“Sure!” Sayanee then feeds Acchan with her own spoon.
“What the!!!!! Indirect kiss” Takamina screamed in her head. “Argh..That damn Sayanee!”Suddenly Takamina interrupted. “Acchan! Taste mine! It’s really good too.” Takamina gestured.
“Um..you guys have the same flavor.” Sayanee chuckled.
Acchan tried to hold her laughter inside so that Takamina couldn’t see.
“Oh.. I forgot.” Takamina puts her fail face on and went back to her seat.
“Takamina-san, I have a question.”
“Hmm? What is it Milky?”
“Ano..Is it possible for two girls to be together?”
“Ehhhhh! What do you mean by that??” Takamina eyes widened wandering towards Acchan who sat across from them on another bench.
“Well you know...like being a real couple.”
“Uh… I guess it is possible if two people feel the same way about one another.”
“Like how you feel about Maeda-san right?”
“What?!” She shouted almost choking then spitting out her icecream.
“Hehe it’s so obvious, I can tell by the way you look at her. Most of the time, your attention was on her and you seem jealous. And I can see that
she really wants to talk to you too.”
“Really? I never thought about it that way.”
“Uhn..you should stop denying your feelings and tell her how you feel.”
“But how do I do that?” Takamina finally accepting her feelings towards Acchan.
“Just be honest.”
“Hey, what the..why am I taking advice from someone younger than me.” Takamina thought. “But I guess Milky is right. That explains all these weird feelings I’ve been having.”she thought to herself.
“Milky, do you feel that way about someone?”
“Of course I do, that’s why I asked.” She blushes and turns away.
“Who is it?”“Sa-sa-yanee” Milky stuttered.
“Oh..WHAT!? Then why are you sitting over here watching your girl have fun with someone else?”
“I can say the same for you” Milky chuckled. Takamina realized she was being hypocritical and face palms herself. “Okay then, in the count of 3 we will snatch both of them away!”
“Okay, good idea!” Milky shouted excitedly.

“Go!”
Takamina grabbed Acchan by her wrist dragging her while she tries to resist.
“Let go of me!” Acchan yells.
“No! I won’t ever let go of you. You belong with me.”
“What?” Acchan seem surprise that Takamina is taking the initiative for the first time.
“Where are we going?!”
"To the ocean.”
“We are here!”
“I meant by the waters!!”
Takamina cupped Acchan cheeks and stare into her eyes. “Look Atsuko, I’m sorry. I really mean it this time. Something came up last minute yesterday; Aki-P assigned me to a photoshoot. And you know how that goes because you have the same job title as me. Lately I know I’ve been breaking my promise to you and I feel really bad about it. I should be there for you more when you need me but I’m never. . As a best friend, I fail but now I want to be more than that. I promise I'll be good to you. It was actually good thing I was late yesterday, if I hadn’t seen you walking inside with someone else I wouldn’t have realized my feelings for you."
Acchan couldn’t help but smile. “It’s about time.”
“Wait…Are you saying you feel the same way about me?” Takamina grins.
“It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.”
“Huh! So, you’ve been liking me for a while now?”
“Gosh, Takamina. You baka! I tried hinting you for the last 6 years. How stupider can you get?” Acchan chuckled.
“Oh” Takamina chuckled. “So,does this mean you’re my girlfriend now?”
“No.”
“Acchan!” Takamina whines.
“I’m just kidding of course I am, if you ask the proper way.”
“Grrr,Why do you always have to be so complicated?”
“If you don’t like it, you can run away now before things get even more complicated.” Acchan laughed.
“No..no it’s fine! I love my tsundere princess the way she is.” Takamina pulls acchan into an embrace.“But you have to stop grabbing oppai-chan breast, promise?”
Acchan just laughed really hard. “I did that on purpose, I seen you walking by when I did that.”
“You brat!!!” Takamina starts chasing Acchan around until they got tired.
Now Takamina and Acchan are sitting by the waters, the sun was about to set. It was such a romantic atmosphere, they watch as couples were walking by hand in hand.
“Should we hold hands to?” Acchan hesitated to ask. Takamina suddenly intertwined her fingers with Acchan.
“It’s almost time.”
“Time for what?” Acchan asked confused.
“For the tide to change. It's a little ritual, I have to watch the high tide change whenever something major is about to change in my life.“
When Acchan heard those words from Takamina she blushed like there is no tomorrow.
The tide finally changes and Takamina leaned in for her first kiss.
“Wait..I don’t know how.” Acchan pouted.
“Shh..I’ll teach you.” Takamina put her lips onto her girlfriends mouth to shut her up.
