Chapter 8 : I Gave My First Love To You--FLASHBACK--
Oshima Yuu and Maeda Atsuko were best friends in their junior high school time. Although their personality was like earth and sky, totally different, but they were close each other. Atsuko was a quite girl but when she was near Yuu, she could talk a lot. Yuu had many female friends, but he didn’t know why only Atsuko that could make him feel comfortable. The more they spent time together, the more Yuu felt that Atsuko was a special girl to her. Not a single day he could pass without seeing Atsuko’s face or hearing Atsuko’s voice. And finally in the day of their graduation from junior high school, Yuu made up his mind to purpose her feeling to Atsuko.
“Acchhaann~” Yuu run toward his beloved friend
“Yuuchan.You’re almost late..” Atsuko waved her hand
“Gomen..Let’s find seat” Yuu grabbed Atsuko’s hand.
They were searching for chair for seat in the graduation ceremony hall. Finally they sit on the most backside row.
“Ne Acchan, I need something to talk to you”
“Mmm..what is it?” Atsuko looked at Yuko
“Well, not here. Let’s find a place after this ceremony end”
Atsuko frown “Mmm..is it very serious?”
“Well, You’ll know it..”
On school rooftop
“Ah, Yuuchan, come here.” Atsuko looked at the scenery from the edge of the rooftop. Yuu walked toward Atsuko and stood up next to her
“So beautiful..”
“Yup..The scenery is so beautiful from here”
“No. I mean you. You’re the one which beautiful” Yuu looked up the sky. He didn’t have courage to meet with Atsuko’s eyes
“Ara..You tease me? Don’t tell me that Yuuchan is falling in love me..” Atsuko show her playful smile. Trying to tease Yuu
“What if I really like you? I mean like not as friend.. ”
“Yuuchan..” Atsuko started to confused with Yuu’s word
Yuu turn to Atsuko. He had made up his mind after all “What if I like you as a girl? No..I mean I really really like you as a girl”
Atsuko tried to let out fake laugh “Haha..Yuuchan is joking, right?”
“I’m not joking with my feeling” Yuu grab Atsuko’s right hand and put Atsuko’s palm on his right chest.
“Did you feel it? Only Acchan which can make my heart beats so fast.”
Feeling Yuu’s fast heart beats, Atsuko quickly released her hand from Yuu. She didn’t how to react with Yuu’s sudden confession. But somehow, Atsuko could feel her right hand trembled.
“Acchan has been a special girl in my heart. Now, would you let me be the special person in your heart? ”
Atsuko felt her head dizzy. She never thought her good friend will confess to her. She like Yuu. But, she liked him as a friend. Somehow, she felt that Yuu’s confession betrayed their friendship.
Atsuko turn her head down “I’m sorry, Yuuchan. I can’t..”
Silent wrapped around Yuu and Atsuko. Yuu could feel his heart torn into pieces. He knew his confession might ruined their friendship, but he still wanted to try.
“Why? Am I not good enough? I promise I’ll be a good boyfriend for you..”
“No. Yuuchan is a very nice person. It’s just I always think Yuuchan as a good friend.”
Yuu grab Atsuko’s both hands “Then give me a chance, please”
“Let’s still be good friends, okay?” Atsuko said
“Good friends?” Yuu said
“Un..Good friends”
“Good friends, huh?” Yuu chuckled and released Atsuko’s hand “You’re so selfish, Acchan”
“Selfish? What do you mean? I’m sorry, Yuuchan. But we can still be good friends, right?”
Yuu felt something warm on his eyes. Something that he fight back. Something that he thought a man shouldn’t let it from both of his eyes. He didn’t want t cry. But he felt his chest ached
“I-I need to go home now” Yuu quickly walked toward the roof’s stairs.
“Yuuchan, I’m sorry. We’re still good friends, don’t we?” Atsuko didn’t chase Yuu. She knew that Yuu need time for himself.
Yuu stop his step, but he didn’t face Atsuko “I’m alright. Ne Acchan, can I asked you one thing?”
“What is it?”
“If someday there will another boy who confess his feeling to you, but you reject him. Please don’t say ‘Let’s just be good friends’ ”
“Mm?” Atsuko didn’t understand what Yuu meant
“Please don’t say those words. That’s a selfish words. It means that you want to keep that person close to you but he cannot to have you”
Then Yuu left Atsuko
“Yuuchan..”
That was the last time Atsuko met Yuu. After graduation, Yuu didn’t attend high school in Japan. He went to America without Atsuko’s knowing. His first love was an unrequited love, after all.

Yuki was walking toward bus halt. Every day she went to school by took a bus. She was humming a song while walking, when she heard someone screaming from behind.
“Yukiii!!! Watch out!! ”
Yuki turn her head. She saw Akicha was riding a bike.
“Move, Yuki!! Move aside!!!!”
Seeing the bike was running toward her, Yuki reflexed jump her body aside.
“Wooaaa..That was close” Akicha stopped next to Yuki
Yuki hit Akicha’s head “Hey, Akicha! Don’t you look I was in front of you. Why don’t you put on the brakes your bike earlier. You want to hurt me?!”
“Ahh, Gomen, Yuki. It’s a new bike. My brother bought for me yesterday.” Akicha introduced her new bike proudly
“You haven’t answered my question. You wanted to hurt me?!”
“Of course not. I just wanted to give you surprise. That’s all. So, you like the surprise?”
“That’s the worst surprise I’ve ever had in my life!”
“Ne Yuki let’s go to school together every day. I’ll give you a ride.”
“No, I better take a bus.”
Akicha grabbed Yuki’s hand “wait, Yuki.I’m sorry. I promise I’ll ride the bike carefully. Now, go to school with me,please. Hey, you can save your money by not taking the bus, don’t you? C’mon, Yuki..”
Yuki let out a sigh. “Okay..” and then she sit on the back.
“Ne~ Yuki, is your head fine? I mean yesterday I saw your head hit the door so hard” said Akicha while she was riding the bike
“Now, just feel hurt a little. Hey, Akicha! Where were you yesterday? You even didn’t visit me in infirmary!”
“I didn’t want to disturb you..”
“What do you mean?”
“I saw Ren brought you to the infirmary..”
Yuki blushed remembering yesterday event
“So, how was it, Yuki? Was it romantic?” Akicha giggled
“Mmmm…” Yuki had difficulty to find words to describe what she felt about yesterday
“Tell me!! Tell Me!!” Akicha sounded so excited
“Nope!”
“Ehhh??!! Yuki is such a sly person! You promised me not to have secret with me..”
“Fine..Fine..I’ll tell you later”
“Really? Yahooo!! ”
“Why you’re the one who excited?”
“Because finally my beloved friend have some progress in her romantic life. There’s a chance that your first love won’t be a one-sided love. You know Yuki, I never thought that-”
“Stop talking! Concentrate on riding!!”
“First love..” Along their way to school Yuki kept thinking about her feeling toward Ren. Akicha was right. Ren was her first love. A secret love. Her first love felt sweet yet sour. Secretly loving someone was happy yet lonely.

“Ojou-chan!!”
Haruna was walking toward her classroom when she hear a familiar sound calling her with her new nickname
She stopped and looked at the source of the sound “What?”
Yuu showed Haruna some piece of printed papers.
Haruna took those papers “What is it?”
“That’s our contract”
“Contract?”
Yuu nodded his head “Mm..I need you to sign the contract”
Haruna looked at those papers. She read some of the pages. There were many terms that she didn’t understand. She looked at Yuu with hesitant look in her face
“well, I don’t understand about this contract”
“Just sign the contract. I was the one who made this contract. I’ve made sure about everything. Trust me..”
“But-”
“Pleasee” Yuu started to begging to Haruna “I need your signature now.. ”
Seeing Haruna still had hesitancy, Yuu said “I am responsible for all that was typed on the contract. Besides, you’ve agreed to be my model. Sign the contract, pleaseee”
“Okay..Okay..Stop begging me like that.”
Yuu gave Haruna his 1000 watt smile. “Sign here..”
“Oh, that smile” Haruna thought
“May I call you or send you message?” Yuu asked
“Mmmm?”
“Okay..Make sure you’ll pick up the call or reply my message, right?! I’m going back to my class!!!” Yuu said while he run toward his class
“I haven’t given you my permission yet!!!” Haruna yelled

Rino was busy seeing Rabu-tan’s pic on magazine when he felt something covered his face “Hey! WTF is this?!” Rino grabbed the thing that covered his head. “Huh? A Shirt..”
“Use that shirt tomorrow evening!” Akicha, who stand next to him, said..
“Hey! Don’t throw everything as you like. Don’t you see I’m reading this magazine? Eh, wait. Why I have to use this shirt?”
“Baka! It’s backstage crew’s shirt. By wearing this shirt, you’ll have access to the Rabu-tan’s show backstage.”
“Ehh, really? Hohoho, wait for me, Rabu-tan!!” Rino looked at the shirt with sparkle eyes
“And one more, I need your photo for the ID card”
“No problem, Akicha” Rino smiled. Deep inside his heart, he felt grateful that Akicha lost the ticket. Now, He had a chance to meet Rabu-tan face-to-face. Not just became spectator from far away.
“I hope everything will go well tomorrow evening” Akicha thought “Good morning!” A female student said while she was walking into the classroom
“Ohh, Atsuko! You’ve back!” Rino said
“Yes, after absent for 1 week, I never thought that I would miss this school this much..”
“How is your condition? Are you alright?” Akicha asked
“I’m fine. I’ve just had gastritis, yet my parents kept insisted me to stay in hospital for a week..”
“It must be tough to have such overprotected parents, right?”
“It’s alright. I’ve got used to it..”
“Here, I lend you my notebook. There will be exams next week. So I think this book must be useful for you” Akicha hand her book to Atsuko
“Ah, Arigatou..”
“eh, wait?! There will be exams next week?? ” Rino asked in surprised
“Baka! You didn’t listen to what the teacher had said?” Akicha said
“Ne~ Atsuko, give Akicha’s book as soon as possible after you finish copy it. I want to copy it too”
“No, Atsuko. I don’t want to lend my book to him.”
“You meanie, Akicha…”
“What did you say? It’s your fault for not making note of what the teacher had taught. Borrow Haruna’s!”
“No way! She’s worse than me. She often daydreaming in the middle of lesson”
‘Then borrow somebody else’s book!”
“Mou..”
Those 2 people kept arguing while Atsuko just chuckle hearing their conversation.

“Hey Mayu, did something happen?” Komorin asked
Mayu shook her head “Why?”
“You become quieter these days. It seems like there’s something that bother your mind”
“Well, I’m just not feeling well. That’s all.”
“Are you sure?”
“Un” Mayu nodded
Although few days had passed since the ‘kiss accident’, Watanabe Mayu couldn’t stop thinking about it. She became quiet, even to her best friend.
Beep Beep Mayu's phone was vibrated
From : Mama
Mayu-chan~.Come home earlier today. Remember we’ll have dinner with your father’s friend. Ah` I can’t wait for it~Mayu read the mail from her mother unenthusiastically. Why her parents have to bring her along?
To : Mama
Alright. I’ll come home earlier today.

--In Watanabe’s house—
“Mayu, where’s the smile on your face?” asked Watanabe Papa after seeing Mayu’s sour face
“Here” Mayu forced a smile
“Tsk..C’mon Mayu. You should smile more naturally. We will meet very important guests” Said Watanabe Mama
“Are them really that important?” Mayu so curious
“Of course. Not only Papa’s friend but Mayu will also meet her first love”
“Ehh?” Mayu shocked hearing those words
“I wonder how that little boy looks like now”
“My first love? I don’t get it”
“Hahaha..I’m sure Mayu don’t remember because Mayu was just a little baby at that time”
“Yes. Maybe it was when Mayu in the age 1 or 2 years old..”
“What?”
“A human didn’t have memory in his baby period!!” Mayu screamed inside
Mayu’s father put her right thumb and index finger on his chin “Mmmm..I think it’s hard to make Mayu remember. Ne~ Mama, do you still keep the photos?”
“I’m sorry, Papa. I think I’ve lost it”
“It’s okay, Mama. My friend said he still keep the photos”
“Oh~ Really? I’m so happy~”
Mayu just quiet. She couldn’t understand what her parents talked about. First love ? Photos ? She didn’t get it at all.
DING DONGWatanabe house’s bell ring
“Ahh, It must be them. Mayu, Open the door, please!”
“Okay..”
Mayu walked to ward the door and opened it. There was a male in the age of 40s who stood in front of the door. After the door was opened, he saw Mayu and leaned her head closer to Mayu’s face
“You must be….”
“I’m Watanabe Mayu”
“Ahhhhh~ Mayu-chan!!! It’s been a long long time since the last time I saw you!!”
Mayu just looked at the man from head to toe. She didn’t remember that she ever saw that man
“Ah, Matsui-san!!” Watanabe Papa and mama came to greet the guest
“Matsui? This uncle’s name is Matsui?” Mayu thought
“Welcome..Come in!”
“Arigatou..”
“Where’s your son?” Watanabe Papa asked
“He’s on the way here. I’ve just came from my office, so we couldn’t go here together”
Waiting for Matsui-san’s son to arrive, they made conversation in dining room. Watanabe Parents and Matsui-san were talked about their memories in the past. And Mayu, she just stay silent like statue because she couldn’t follow their conversation.And then….
DING DONG“Ah, it’s must be him!”
“Mayu, can you-“
“Okay, I know” Mayu directly heading to the door
After she opened the door, she never expected to see someone she didn’t want to see..
“YOU?”
“YOU?”
