Chapter 1

 Akihabara Girls High School, otherwise known as AKB High. Summer vacation is over, and a new year is about to start.

 It will be Takahashi Minami's last year there as she was a senior. Takamina walked to her dorm room. She shared it for the past couple of years with her best friend, Maeda Atsuko.

 "she is still not here yet? What is she doing?" Takamina asked as she looked around. Her cell phone started vibrating in her pocket. "Hai?"

"Hey, Takamina~!"

"Miichan? Where are you?"

"Right behind you."

"Eh?" Takamina turned around and saw no one. She then felt a tap on her shoulder from the other side, and there was Minegishi Minami.

"do not do that!" Takamina exclaimed, closing her phone.

"My bad~," Miichan said. "Acchan's not with you?"

"I hope she is okay..."

Miichan smiled as she turned towards the door. "You are such a worrying wife..."
 
"Of course I am worried- wait, wife?!" Takamina blushed.

"Unpack and meet up for dinner, okay?" Miichan left the room laughing.

"That Miichan..." Takamina finished unpacking and did what she was told. But she could not help to wonder about Atsuko.

"Hey, everyone!" Takamina sat in an empty chair with her friends: Miichan, Mariko, Yuko, and Sayaka.

"You finally got here," Akimoto Sayaka said.

"I was not that late! What were you talking about?" Takamina asked.

"There is this cute first-year that moved in next to us," Shinoda Mariko explained.

"She is not that cute and stop forgetting about the other one!" Miichan said.

"Miichan's just jealous at all the attention Mariko gave her," Oshima Yuko said.

"You are one to talk! You cannot stand when someone else is with Haruna!" Miichan said as the two continued arguing.

"So, what about the first-years?" Takamina asked.

"Well, one is Kimoto Kanon, and the other is Matsui Jurina. she is the one Miichan's jealous about," Mariko said.

"Eh, what about me?" Miichan asked who did not hear her.

"Do not worry about it," Mariko smirked.

"Rena seems to take a liking to the two as well," Sayaka said.

"Ah, that is right! Jurina definitely has a crush on Rena!" Yuko said.

"Everyone's already so lively..." Takamina said.

"As long as that Jurina likes Rena, I am fine with "lively"," Miichan said.

"You really are jealous!" Yuko laughed.

"Just be quiet, you two," Mariko said.

At another table Matsui Rena was with Watanabe Mayu, Itano Tomomi, Kojima Haruna, and Yagami Kumi.

"Rena, what's wrong with her?" Tomochin asked, pointing at Kumi.

"Ah, Kuumin's fine. she is just thinking how to talk to Non-chan again," Rena said.

"I will get her..." Kumi said.

"You just met her!" Mayu said.

"But, she’s so cute~! Right, Rena-san?" Kumi asked.

"Yeah, but you should get to know her better," Rena replied.

"I know," Kumi said. "How did you get to know Oshima-san better, Kojima-san?"

"Eh? How should I put it?" Haruna said.

"It's best for you not to ask," Tomochin said.

"That is mean, Tomochin!" Haruna whined.

"Hey, where's Yukirin-san?" Rena asked.

"She is with Sae-chan again," Mayu sighed.

"Miichan said that they were dating. Is that true?" Haruna asked.

"Dating?! Yukirin and Sae-chan?" Mayu asked.

"I wonder... they are pretty close," Tomochin said.

Just how close are they if they skipped dinner to be alone? Mayu thought with a blush on her cheeks.

“You’ve been influenced by Yuko too much, Mayu,” Tomochin smirked as she got out of her chair.

“I wasn’t thinking about anything!” Mayu said. “Where are you going?”

“The bell just rang, Mayuyu,” Haruna said.

“Oh, right…” Mayu said as they all walked back to their dorms.

“See you later, Kuumin, Mayu-san,” Rena waved as she, Tomochin, and Haruna went separate ways.

“I wish our rooms won’t so far apart… Then, I’ll be closer to Kanon, too,” Kumi sighed, not noticing Mayu wasn’t walking with her. “Eh? Mayu-san, what are you doing?”

“This is Sae-chan and Yukirin’s dorm,” Mayu whispered.

“You don’t think they’re actually doing anything, do you?” Kumi asked.

“Then, we’ll just have to find out,” Mayu said as she turned the doorknob.  “It’s locked!”

“Eh?! B-But, it is getting late. They could be changing their clothes or something…” Kumi stopped once she saw Mayu’s glare.

“Sae-chan, you don’t have to help me take off my clothes. It’s embarrassing!”

“Don’t you trust me, Yukirin? It’s not like I haven’t seen you before.”

“I guess that’s true…”

“I was right?” Kumi gasped.

“No way… why didn’t they tell anyone?” Mayu asked who was frozen on the spot. Why didn’t they tell me?

Around the same time, Tomochin had just arrived in her room.

“Hey, Tomochin!” Kasai Tomomi said from across the room.

“Hey. You’re already for bed?” Tomochin asked.

“Yeah, I’m really tired! Good night~!” Tomo~mi said before covering up in bed.

“Good night…” Tomochin asked before going into the bathroom but after she had already showered, she forgot to bring her pajamas with her.

Thinking Tomo~mi was sleep anyway, she went out to grab her clothes in just a towel. Her towel slipped some, revealing part of her chest as she sighed and pulled the towel up, going back into the bathroom.

Tomo~mi, who was not asleep yet, saw her. She killed me if I tell her, but… I won’t~. Tomo~mi smiled as she turned over and fell asleep for real.

“Good night, Takamina!” Yuko said as she went inside her room.

“Good night!” Takamina replied as she walked into her own. “I’m worn out!”

Takamina went to open the bathroom door, but it was locked. “Oh, Acchan! Where you have been all this time?”

“Takamina… Gomen ne, I’ll let you in,” Atsuko opened the door with her head lowered. 

“Acchan? Wait a minute!” Takamina stopped her from going past her. “Why were you so late? I was worried about you!”

“Minami…” Atsuko bitterly smiled.

“H-Have you been crying?” Takamina asked, blushing at Atsuko using her real name. 

“Minami~,” Atsuko hugged Takamina and cried on her shoulder.

“Hey, what’s wrong?! Atsuko?!” Takamina asked.

“I was attacked on my way here…” Atsuko said.

“Eh?!” Takamina gasped. “Are you okay?!”

“I’m okay, but just hug me right now…” Atsuko said.

“Okay…” Takamina held her tighter. “I’ll wait…”

Chapter 2

“So, what happened?” Takamina asked as Atsuko calmed down.

“Well, the first reason I was late was because I overslept,” Atsuko blushed.

“Acchan…” Takamina sighed.

“But, that’s not important!” Atsuko said. “Anyway, when I was walking here, a man tried to take my bag, but I kicked him twice and ran away.”

“That’s what you meant by attacked?!” Takamina asked.

“You didn’t let me finish,” Atsuko said. “Somehow he found me and that’s when he tried to hurt me.”

“He didn’t right?!” Takamina asked who couldn’t bear the thought of Atsuko getting hurt. 

“I already said I was alright, but I was really scared…” Atsuko said. “I was thinking “Takamina’s worried about me” the whole time.”

“I was Acchan… I knew something had happened!” Takamina started crying and hugged Atsuko again.  “I’m glad you’re safe…”

“Minami…” Atsuko smiled. “We should go to sleep now.”

“Yeah… you’re right,” Takamina said. “Let me just shower and change.”

“Okay,” Atsuko went over to Takamina’s side of the room. “I guess she won’t mind.”

“Acchan?” Takamina blushed to find Atsuko asleep in her bed. She smiled and got in beside her. “Sweet dreams, Acchan…”

The next morning was the official start of classes.

“How long are you going to sleep, Kuumin,” Kizaki Yuria asked as she tried to wake Kumi up again. “You’ll be late for class!”

“Okay, I’ll get up…” Kumi yawned as she got out of bed.

“Arigato. You insist on me to wait for you so don’t make me late, too,” Yuria said.

“See you later, Sayaka-chan!” Mayu said as the two went to their classes.

“Ohayo, Mayu-san!” Kumi said as Yuria closed the door behind them. Their room was right beside Mayu and Sayaka’s.

“Ohayo,” Mayu said.

“Watanabe-san, did anything happen last night?” Yuria asked.

“What do you mean?” Mayu asked.

“I mean… you two were both a little late coming back from dinner so I was curious,” Yuria said.

“Um, we may heard a little of something, but,” Kumi started.

“Nothing happened,” Mayu said.

“I see…” Yuria said. But, she knew something had to happen.

“Everyone, you have to see this picture!” Yuko said as she held out her cell phone.

“Acchan and Takamina?!” Miyazawa Sae asked.

“When did you take this, Yuko?” Sayaka asked.

“Nyan-Nyan and I knocked on their door to see if they were up yet. We went in and saw them sleeping in the same bed!” Yuko explained.

“So Takamina finally confessed?” Miichan asked.

“Did someone say my name?” Takamina and Atsuko walked into the classroom.

“Takamina, I knew you had it in you!” Yuko said, putting an arm around Takamina.

“Eh? What are you talking about?” Takamina asked.

“This picture,” Miichan held up Yuko’s phone.

“You two seem quite comfortable,” Mariko said.

“Eh?! Wait, you’ve got it wrong!” Takamina exclaimed.

“Yeah, I just wanted to sleep with Takamina… just sleep!” Atsuko said.

“That’s all?” Miichan asked. “What a waste…”

“You said it…” Yuko said as they went back to their seats.    

Pictures… Tomo~mi thought, thinking back on last night with Tomochin’s towel. I wish I could have taken one.

In the other senior class, things were getting more interesting.

 “Hey, Yukirin, where were you and Sae at dinner?” Tomochin asked.

“… In our dorm,” Yuki said.

“What were you doing?” Rena asked.

“Doing…? W-We weren’t doing anything weird!” Yuki blushed.

“Really? It’s already like you two are dating,” Haruna said.

“She was just helping me…” Yuki said as she held up right arm. “My wrist is sprained so it’s hard for me do stuff like I normally do.”

“Eh… that’s all?” Tomochin asked. “You should tell that to Mayu once you see her.”

“Mayuyu, why?” Yuki asked.

“She was worried about you, too,” Haruna said.

“Ogi-chan, who are you texting?” Rena asked, making everyone look.

“Yuria,” Ogiso Shiori said.

“Speaking of that, aren’t you two dating as well?” Furukawa Airi asked.

“You’re always together even though she’s a year younger,” Rena said.

“Maybe… we’re dating,” Shiori smiled.

“Eh, congratulations!” Haruna said.

“I want to hear about it later, okay?” Airi asked.

“That’s fine,” Shiori said.

“Another couple, huh?” Tomochin asked, sounding a little annoyed. When will it be my turn?

At lunchtime: Takamina, Atsuko, Mariko, Sayaka, and Miichan were sitting together.

“Yuko’s not with us today?” Takamina asked.

“She’s somewhere pestering Haruna,” Mariko said. 

“And we all know what that means,” Miichan smirked.

“Miichan, you’re as bad as Yuko herself,” Atsuko said.

“I’m just speaking the truth,” Miichan said. “By the way, where were you yesterday?”

Atsuko glanced at Takamina. “I just overslept that’s all.”

“Just because there was no class, that doesn’t mean you should be late,” Sayaka said.

“Mou, I know that, Sayaka,” Atsuko said, trying to ignore Takamina’s glare.

At a table nearby: Mayu, Tomochin, Tomo~mi, Sae, and Yuki sat together.

“Tomochin, can you help me with this work?” Tomo~mi asked.

“Okay,” Tomochin replied. Having Sae, Yuki, and Mayu together made her feel awkward. 

“Arigato. I don’t want to fall behind already,” Tomo~mi said.

“It’s no problem…” Tomochin found herself blushing.

“Yukirin, you’re just drinking that smoothie?” Sae asked.

“I ate a lot earlier so I’m not that hungry. Want to taste?” Yuki asked. 

“Can I? Arigato!” Sae drunk some from the straw. “It’s good!”

“I made it myself…” Yuki blushed.

“Really? Somehow that makes it taste better,” Sae said as they both smiled.

“Flirting again, are we?” Tomochin asked, annoyed. 

“It’s not flirting,” Yuki said.

Mayu, who hasn’t been told that last night was a misunderstanding (and, well Kumi neither), was getting more upset.

An indirect kiss… sleeping together, Mayu thought before sighing heavily.

“What’s wrong, Mayu?” Sae asked.

“Nothing, I just may be tired of your flirting, too,” Mayu said, making Tomochin and Tomo~mi look up in surprise.

“I said we’re not flirting! And about yesterday, you were mistaken,” Yuki said.

“Mistaken? How so?” Mayu asked.

“Sae-chan was just helping me,” Yuki said.

“Helping you take off your clothes?” Mayu asked.
 
“Eh?! How do you know that?” Sae asked.

“Me and Kumi heard you,” Mayu said.

“You were taking off Yuki’s clothes, Sae?” Tomo~mi asked.

“It’s not like that!” Sae said.

“My wrist is sprained, Mayuyu. It’s hard to change with one hand,” Yuki said.

“So you two didn’t do anything?” Mayu asked.

“We didn’t,” Yuki said.

“Have you ever?” Mayu asked.

“Eh?” Yuki asked.

“I figured,” Mayu left from the table.

“Wait, Mayuyu!” Yuki was about to go after her, but Sae grabbed her arm. “Sae-chan…”

 “If she’s like that, at least give her time to calm down first,” Sae said.

“… Okay,” Yuki said.

“It’s not that hard to see why she’s so mad,” Tomochin said.
 
Mayuyu… Yuki thought, realizing that what she had feared was true.

She didn’t want that.

Here's is the second chapter! I'm still on summer vacation for a couple of weeks so I have the time to write more! This fanfic has a lot of views already (to me), and I didn't expect that. Thanks for reading and thanks for the replies! Also, I already planned out how the pairings are going to end by the end of the story, but I'd like to know which pairings you'd like to see. Chapter 3 is underway!

Chapter 3

Later, after dinner had finished, Rena was visiting a certain dorm.

“Rena-san!” Airi was surprised to see her.

“Can I come in?” Rena asked.

“O-Of course,” Airi said.

“Arigato,” Rena smiled as she walked in. “Ah, Churi!”

“Rena-san? I knew I heard your voice,” Takayanagi Akane said.

“I just wanted to see you. You said that you would be late coming back,” Rena said.

“I’m happy, but you can come here anytime. Right, Airin?” Akane asked.

“Yeah, Rena-san’s always welcome,” Airi blushed.

“Arigato, Churi, Airin,” Rena said. “Good night.”

After Rena had left, Airi sighed. Akane walked over to her, and poked her cheek.

“Why is your face so red, Airin?” Akane asked, laughing.

“Don’t make me answer that,” Airi said.

“You should confess to Rena-san already!” Akane said. “I think she’ll accept!”

“I don’t want to take chances…” Airi said.

“Airin…” Akane wondered what could change her mind.

Rena walked back to her room she shared with Shiori. Jurina came from behind her and grabbed her waist.

“J-Jurina?!” Rena exclaimed.

“Rena-chan~,” Jurina said. “You feel really soft…”

“Jurina, let go. What if someone sees us?” Rena asked.

“I still wouldn’t let go,” Jurina said as Rena blushed.

“Gomen, but I have to go back to my room,” Rena said as she removed Jurina from her. “But… I don’t really want you to let go.”

Now it was Jurina’s turn to blush. “Good night, Rena-chan.”

“Good night, Jurina,” Rena replied but before she could turn around, Jurina kissed her on the cheek. “Eh?!”

Jurina grinned before leaving. Rena, in shock, rubbed her cheek as she walked back to her room.

"You're lucky, Yuria…" Kumi said. "You look so happy with Ogiso-san."

"I guess..." Yuria said.

"You're not having second thoughts are you?" Kumi asked.

"Of course not!" Yuria said. "It's just that Yukko-san seems jealous."

"Yukko likes her, too," Kumi said.

"What if... Yukko-san tries to-" Yuria got cut off.

"She won't! Yukko's not like that," Kumi said.

"You're right," Yuria said as Kumi went over and hugged her.

"But if anything happens, I'm here."

"Arigato, Kuumin. Also, if anything happens with Kanon, I want to know, okay?"

“Okay. You’ll be the first person I’ll tell.”

Outside the school, Mayu was leaning against the wall.

"Mayuyu."

"Gomen ne, Yukirin. I acted strange earlier."

"I'm the one who should be apologizing. I know you like me, Mayuyu."

"And you like Sae-chan, and she likes you back."

"I don't want anything to ruin our friendship. You mean a lot to me."

"Of course I'll stay friends with you, Yukirin. Nothing will change that, but..."

"But?"

Mayu trapped Yuki to the wall. "Let me kiss you."

“Are you serious?” Yuki asked.

“Just this once is fine, right?” Mayu asked.

“It’s not fine at all…” Yuki said. Mayu kissed her anyway. “Mayu…”

“Let’s go back inside,” Mayu said as she walked to the door, but she didn’t get too far.
 
“Sae-chan!” Yuki gasped.

“On my way back from the gym, I heard voices,” Sae said.

“Sae-chan… w-why do you have to like Yukirin, too?!” Mayu asked. “You might have liked her first, but I’ve known her the longest!”

“Mayu!” Sae said as Mayu ran past her. “Yukirin let me ask you a question.”

“Please, Sae-chan…” Yuki already knew what she was going to ask.

“Did you like that kiss?” Sae asked.

“Can I like it and still be in love with you?” Yuki asked back.

“Yukirin,” Sae said before kissing her. “Let’s tell everyone… that we’re dating tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Yuki replied as they went inside the building.

In Atsuko and Takamina’s dorm, Atsuko was on her cell phone in her bed, and Takamina was sitting on the side of her bed.

“Acchan, what you doing?” Takamina asked.

“Texting Miichan,” Atsuko replied.

“Miichan’s right next door!” Takamina said.

“I know that,” Atsuko said as she laughed while reading a message. “She heard you, Takamina!”

“Miichan, go to sleep!” Takamina said. 

“She said she’s not tired,” Atsuko said.

“I don’t care anymore,” Takamina said as she got into bed. “Good night.”

“Takamina…” Atsuko put her phone away. “Let’s sleep together again~.”

“Yuko already has one picture of us. I’ll pass,” Takamina said.

“Are you mad at me, Takamina?”

“Why didn’t you tell anyone about yesterday?”

“I don’t want everyone to worry. I’m fine, and that’s what matters, right?”

“I guess…”

“What kind of answer is that? It’s like you don’t care if I get hurt.”

“That’s not it- Whoa!” Takamina turned around to see Atsuko right in front of her.

“I don’t want to see you hurt.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“So we can sleep together?”

“Is that what you wanted?!”

“I’m kidding, I’m kidding! Good night.” Takamina grabbed Atsuko’s hand.

Atsuko blushed. “Takamina?”

“I don’t care if you sleep with me…”

“Can we keep sleeping together then?”

“Okay. Good night.”

“Arigato, Takamina.”

A few rooms down were Haruna and Yuko. They too were sharing a bed, but with more problems.

“Yuko, stop that! Go back to your own bed,” Haruna said.

“I will,” Yuko said. “I like Nyan-Nyan’s body a lot.”

“Arigato…” Haruna blushed.

“I bet you could be in a magazine,” Yuko said. “With shots of you in sexy poses wearing lingerie and stuff.”

“You wouldn’t mind if people saw them?” Haruna asked.

“No, because I’m the only one who can see it in person. And I can take it off.”

“Ah! Yuko, I said stop that! We made out during lunch… isn’t that enough?”

“Making out is okay… the real thing is better!”

“I refuse!”

“Nyan-Nyan’s so cold…”

“And you’re so perverted, Yuko!”

“Hey… is just sleeping with you okay? I won’t try anything!”

“Yeah, that’s okay.”

“Nyan-Nyan~!”

“How am I supposed to sleep if you’re hugging me like that?”

“Somehow.”

“Mou, Yuko…”

“Hey, Nyan-Nyan?”

“What is it?”

“I love you.”

“… I love you, too, Yuko.”
