Chapter 8
“We’re here,” Tomochin said. They were in front of a cake shop.
“This shop… is the same one we went to with Acchan and Yuko,” Tomo~mi said as she let go of her hand.
“Yeah, where we first met,” Tomochin said as she opened the door for her.
“Arigato,” Tomo~mi blushed as they went inside.
“Where do you want to sit?” Tomochin asked.
“Here~,” Tomo~mi said, picking a table in the far corner of the room by the window. Tomochin sat in front of her.
“Ah, the menu’s still the same,” Tomochin said.
“I’ll get coffee cake and milk,” Tomo~mi said.
“Milk?” Tomochin asked as she smirked.
“What are you thinking about?” Tomo~mi blushed as she covered her chest.
“Nothing~. I’ll get strawberry shortcake and milk, too,” Tomochin said as they waited for their food.
In Yuki’s dorm, Mayu was with Yuki getting help on her homework while sitting on her bed.
“So do you get it now?” Yuki asked.
“Yeah! Arigato, Yukirin,” Mayu said.
“It’s no problem,” Yuki said.
“Aren’t you glad it’s Friday?” Mayu asked as she hugged Yukirin’s waist.
“Yeah,” Yuki said as she rubbed Mayu’s head. “Anything the matter?”
“No,” Mayu said. “I just miss being with Yukirin like this.”
“Hey, we were together plenty of times during summer,” Yuki said.
“But in school, Sae-cha-, I mean, because of our grades and dorms we don’t see each other much,” Mayu said.
“That’s true,” Yuki said. “We’ll just have to find time in between.”
“Like now?” Mayu asked.
Before Yuki could answer, Mayu kissed her. Mayu was now sitting on her lap.
“What are you doing?! Stop!” Yuki said.
“I won’t!” Mayu said as she continued to kiss her and move her hands all over Yukirin’s body, specifically her chest.
“Mayuyu, s-stop this!” Yuki said, trying to move Mayu off her.
“I really have to stop?” Mayu asked.
“Of course you do!” Yuki said finally getting Mayu off her and standing up. “Is this why you wanted my help? Waiting for me to be away from Sae-chan and seduce me? How could you, Mayu?”
“I…” Mayu didn’t know what to say since Yuki figured out her plan so quick.
“I just can’t go further than friends. Gomen,” Yuki said.
Mayu ran out the room before Yuki could see her crying. Yuki sat back on her bed and sighed. “I was trying to save your feelings…”
Kumi, who saw Mayu ran past, followed her. “Wait, Mayu-san!”
“Leave me alone!” Mayu said as Kumi stopped.
“I guess that it didn’t work out well…” Kumi said.
At Tomo-Tomo’s date, they were just starting to eat.
“This is really sweet~!” Tomo~mi said.
“I can try some?” Tomochin asked as she held her up own fork. “I’ll give you some of mine, too.”
“O-Okay,” Tomo~mi said as they fed each other. An indirect kiss…!
“I don’t think this is that sweet, Tomo~mi,” Tomochin said.
“That’s because you’re taste-deaf,” Tomo~mi smiled.
“I keep telling you that I’m not taste-deaf!” Tomochin blushed.
“You are!” Tomo~mi said.
“So what if I am?” Tomochin asked.
“You’re admitting it?” Tomo~mi asked.
“… Can we change the subject?” Tomochin asked.
“Sure~,” Tomo~mi said as she heard a vibrating sound. “Is that your cell phone?”
“Yeah,” Tomochin said as she opened the message. “Ah…”
“What’s wrong?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Mayu’s done something stupid,” Tomochin said.
“Is she okay?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Probably not according to Yukirin,” Tomochin said. “That reminds me… Tomo~mi?”
“What?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Earlier when we were texting, I didn’t reply back,” Tomochin said.
“You don’t have to say anything about it,” Tomo~mi said.
“But you must have been wondering why, right?” Tomochin asked.
“It’s fine!” Tomo~mi said. I don’t want to ruin this date…
“Why are you so uptight?” Tomochin asked. “Ah, did Haruna tell you already?”
“Haruna?” Tomo~mi asked, looking up.
“When I was texting you, the teacher saw me and warned me put to put it up,” Tomochin said. “But she ended up taking it anyway…”
“So you weren’t ignoring me?” Tomo~mi asked.
“You thought I was?” Tomochin asked. “Baka~.”
“Tomochin… what made you ask me out on a date all of a sudden?” Tomo~mi asked.
Tomochin looked out the window and saw dark clouds. “Let’s pay and leave first. Then I’ll tell you.”
“Okay,” Tomo~mi said, wondering why she couldn’t tell her then.
At school, Kumi was sulking on Yuria’s lap in their dorm.
“I tried to stop her…” Kumi said.
“It’s not your fault,” Yuria said before sighing. “It’s only been one week and so much has happened.”
“Oh yeah, you were telling me about a project your class is doing,” Kumi said.
“Yeah,” Yuria said.
(Earlier)
Yuria was randomly drawing in her notebook. Her teacher was assigning pairs for a project that will last about a week.
I feel lonely not talking to Ogi-chan like this…
“Kizaki Yuria and Kinoshita Yukiko.”
“Eh? What?” Yuria asked.
“We’re partners,” Yukiko said who was sitting in front of her. “Shall we start tomorrow?”
“That sounds okay,” Yuria smiled. Since she met with Yukiko yesterday, she felt tense when around her.
Yukko-san’s pretty, smart, good at dancing, liked Ogi-chan first and wants to take her away from me…
“Did you hear me, Yuria?” Yukiko asked.
“G-Gomen!” Yuria said.
“Why do you keep spacing out for?” Yukiko asked.
“It’s nothing,” Yuria said, but she’s sure she saw Yukiko smirk.
(Present)
“Kuumin, I want Ogi-chan to be with me,” Yuria said.
“Like I said, Yukko’s not going to do anything,” Kumi said.
“What if she does what Watanabe-san tried?” Yuria asked.
“Do you trust Shiori, Yuria?” Kumi asked.
“Of course I do-” Yuria said.
“So stop worrying,” Kumi said, cutting her off as she sat up.
“Okay. You’re surprisingly mature Kuumin,” Yuria said, hugging Kumi.
“I try anyway,” Kuumin said as both girls smiled.
Tomochin and Tomo~mi ended up back at school in the sports field, sitting in the bleachers.
“So… what were you going to tell me?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Recently, I’ve been feeling jealous,” Tomochin said.
“You? Jealous of what?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Acchan and Takamina, Yuko and Haruna, Sae and Yukirin, Mariko and Miichan,” Tomochin said. “They’re always being all lovey-dovey around me all the time.”
“I can relate…” Tomo~mi said.
“I realized I had feelings for someone, too,” Tomochin said. “That’s why.”
“So…” Tomo~mi felt like crying.
“Will you go out with me, Tomo~mi?” Tomochin asked.
“…Eh?!” Tomo~mi asked.
“Go out with me,” Tomochin said.
“You mean I’m the person?” Tomo~mi asked.
“Do I have to prove it or what?” Tomochin asked before kissing Tomo~mi.
Tomo~mi was not willing to stop just yet so she hugged Tomochin and pulled her closer. She blushed when Tomochin did the same.
“… W-Wait a minute,” Tomo~mi said. “Isn’t this too fast?”
“We can stop if you want,” Tomochin said.
“Not that~!” Tomo~mi said. “You love me?”
“It’s obvious, isn’t it?” Tomochin asked as Tomo~mi pouted. “Yes, I love you, Tomo~mi.”
“I’m happy…” Tomo~mi said tears finally coming out of her eyes.
“D-Don’t cry!” Tomochin said.
“But, I loved Tomochin for so long, and I was sure you wouldn’t feel the same,” Tomo~mi said, wiping her eyes.
“Well, I do,” Tomochin said. “I’m really glad you came to this school.”
“Me too,” Tomo~mi smiled, kissed Tomochin, and they ended up making out as it started drizzling rain.
“Let’s continue in our dorm,” Tomochin said.
“Okay,” Tomo~mi replied as they ran into the closest door which was the gym.
“It should be dinner time,” Tomochin said. “Ah, Sayaka!”
“You two finally came back,” Sayaka said.
“What are you still doing here?” Tomo~mi asked.
“I was just about to leave,” Sayaka said as all three walked to the dorms. “You heard, right?”
“Yukirin told me. What’s going on now?” Tomochin asked.
“Well, Takamina and I calmed Mayu down and is with Yagami,” Sayaka said.
“What about Sae?” Tomo~mi asked, noticing Tomochin’s annoyed expression.
“She was angry to the point that Yukirin had to stop her from doing anything rash to Mayuyu. That’s all I know,” Sayaka said before walking ahead.
“Tomo~mi, let’s hurry finish we started. I don’t want to think about that now,” Tomochin said, hugging her from behind.
“T-Tomochin…” Tomo~mi blushed as they walked into their room. “But you got jealous, didn’t you?”
“… I didn’t,” Tomochin brought Tomo~mi to her bed and kissed her.
“Don’t lie~,” Tomo~mi said.
“You talk too much, you know,” Tomochin said.
“You’re not honest with your feelings. Ah!”
“I don’t want to hear that from you.”
“Meanie~!”

Ah, its been long hasn't it! I'm sorry!!! this chapter was mainly saemayuki and tomotomo, but the others will appear next chapter! ill try to update quicker!
