Chapter 18


Mariko asked Acchan to meet her in her office room to discuss about something.

*knock knock*

"Come in." Invite Mariko without looking at the door. She was looking outside the window.
"What is it that you want to talk about?" Asked Acchan as she sits down on the chair across Mariko.

Mariko turns her big chair around to face her group's ace.

'Does she want to ask me about work?' Thought Acchan.

"I-if you want to ask me about our businesses...we are doing fine so far..." tell Acchan.

Mariko smiled.
"It's not about that...I knew you were doing fine with our work. I just want to talk about you and...Well Takamina...”
the way Mariko says it sounds like she was serious.

"Me and Takamina...?" Said Acchan curious.

'What is it about me and Minami? We are doing fine...' thought Acchan.

"Do you really love her?" Asked Mariko.


Acchan started to blushed when Mariko asked her the question.

"W-well...I think so..?" Acchan was hesitating to answer it. She feels shy to answer 'yes I really love her!'

Or 'Minami is my first and last love!'

Or any love lines... she was still new to this feelings.

*sighed*

"There is more you need to know about her Atsuko." Said Mariko.
The way she called Acchan looks like it was a serious matter.

"What do you mean?" Curiosity started to rise in her mind.

"First, you already know that Takamina is secret agent right?"
Acchan just listening to her without answering or nodding to the question.


"Takamina doesn't like mafia."

That statement that Mariko has said suddenly made Acchan froze.

'W-what??!!!'
"If she hate mafia then...w-why you-"

Before Acchan could continue she was being interrupted by Mariko.

"Me and her are friends? Well...Takamina just doesn't like kind of mafia that being
bad and treat the innocent people badly. She really hates it.
 As you see...
our group doesn't bring harm to good people. We just work among other gang of mafia.
That's why Takamina is good with our group." Explain Mariko.

Acchan stay silent while looking at the desk in front of her still thinking what to say.


"There is another reason why she hates mafia...
the reason is...
both her parents were got killed by a mafia...
they did not even do anything to deserve just die like that...
I’ve been knowing Takamina since high school...
after graduate we chose our own way of life...
After I’ve become a mafia following my father's step, we met again,
and I found out that she, miichan and Haruna are a secret agent...
since they are all my old friends, so I told them my TRUE identity.
I was surprise when Takamina told me about her parents.
At first, she was really mad at me, until I said I promised her I will not harm other innocent people.
 We made a deal that; they will help me destroy other mafia group while our group only use our fist on bad people.
That’s why we are one of top mafia...

until one day...takamina found out about mafia group who killed her parents that is one of the our rival...she was really determined to vanished every of them from this world. But it did not come out well."

Flashback
"Are you sure Takamina? I mean…they are not a normal mafia that we always encounter you know…”

 Miichan is getting worried hearing Takamina saying that she wants to get rid every of the mafia member who had killed both her parents.

“I’m very sure Miichan. I already promised to myself that I will find people who killed my parents
and I will kill them with my own hands.”Takamina gritted her teeth trying to calm herself down.

By looking at Takamina’s eyes, Miichan was sure that she can’t stop her partner anyhow.
 Being by her side since they were high school, Miichan knows her really well by just looking at her expression when she is serious.
 When her parents got killed, Miichan and Haruna is the one who always be by her side and taking care of her little sister, Kanon.

“Takamina, whatever you are thinking right now please, tell us so that we know what you are planning to do. Don’t do anything by your own. I’m here to help you.” Tell Mariko to Takamina.
 She was also there, worrying about her friend.

Takamina look at her friends, they are all there for her.

“Thank you…thank you so much everyone.” Takamina smiled to them. A small tears form at the corner of her eyes.

 Yeah, Takamina is sensitive when it comes to feelings.

She got easily cried when she was touched by whatever her friends doing something good to her.

“By the way, I haven’t seen Haruna here…where is she?” Asked Mariko looking around in the house.

Wminami parted their hug when Mariko asked the question to them.

“Haruna? Yeah I haven’t seen her also…Where is she?” Miichan also doesn’t Haruna’s whereabout even though
they lived together in the same house.

“Oh…Haruna said she is going out for a while but I don’t know where…”explained Takamina.

“Hmmm…thinking about Haruna, don’t you think she is being weird lately?” asked Miichan while making thinking pose.
“Really? What do you think is happening to her?” Asked Mariko.
“You’re right Miichan…when we ask her to hang out together, she always declined it. I wonder why…” said Takamina also curious about Haruna’s behavior.


“What’s wrong Marichan?” Miichan asked Mariko seeing Mariko looks like she was thinking about something.

“Nothing…it’s just, lately…you know Yuko right? My group’s ace…I think she was also started to act weird…” Mariko explains.

The trio looking at each other trying to figure out something.

“Maybe it was just coincidence…” said Miichan breaking silence.

“Yeah…” agreed Takamina.

“I have to go back now. Call me if you need something.” Said Mariko while putting her eyeglasses and walking out of the house.

At Shinoda’s mansion

Mariko just arrived home when she passed Yuko was looks like she was about to go out.

“Where are you going?” Asked Mariko curious.

“Somewhere…having some fun.” Answered Yuko smiled showing her dimples.


“Aaaand Mariko-sama, I might be late for dinner, don’t wait for me!”
shout Yuko when she was already far from where Mariko’s standing.


‘Seriously, this girl is really weird lately. She looks somehow…happy?” thought Mariko to herself.





[The flashback will be continued in the next chapter, I need to find Yuki right now… *sigh* where the heaven is this girl going…]





‘*sigh* where is she? Did she lose track of me or something?’ said Mayu in her mind.

“Mayuyu, look! I bought you a manga!” shout Sae walking towards Mayu who was waiting for her at the bench.

‘*sighed* and now I’m stuck with this tomboy…’ said Mayu to herself.

Mayu just look at the manga that was still in Sae’s hand.
“I already read that 100 times already~” Said Mayu to Sae.

“Owh~ really? Then read it for 101th times then…” Sae says scratching the back of her head.

“You’re no fun~~” Mayu with cyborg face started to walk away from her.

“W-wait, Mayuyu! I was just joking!” shout Sae following Mayu from behind before catching her by putting her arms around Mayu’s shoulders.

“What!!?” Said Mayu irritated.

“I have something more to show you…Something that more fun than teasing your bodyguard~” Said Sae grinning.

Somehow Mayuyu feels something weird when Sae said that.

“Come on, follow me! I’ll show you~ It’s going to be fun!” Said Sae walking to somewhere.

Getting interested by what Sae said, Mayu just follow her from behind.

Sae who was leading Mayu to somewhere smirked because it seems this cyborg is easily fall into her trap.



‘I’ll bring you to where your bodyguard won’t find you, Watanabe Mayu.’ Said Sae.

They were getting together then...

What's going on with the plan getting rid of this mafia group that was responsible for Minami's parents death...?

Did they fail... that was why Minami became like that...?

this chapter only focus on the flashback.



Chapter 19

"After that no3b members started to make a planned on how to attack the mafia group that Takamina wants to take revenge. I was also helping them. We planned it very carefully because even one small mistake might lead us to a big failure." explained Mariko.

Flashback
Inside no3b's building in a big room.

"Okay now, this is the place where they will go to. It’s an advantage to us since it was small place so that they will have no place to run."
Takamina was explaining to her friends and there were also their workers who will help them plus Mariko's people.
She was showing them the planned on a white board in front of them.

"But we need to be careful because I heard the leader will bring many of their underlings. “Added miichan.

"About that, I will ask my people to be a backup if anything happen." Tell Mariko.
Takamina nodded to mariko signaling that she was agreeing with her.

"So, if there is nothing more to discuss then, we'll stop for now. We'll make the attack tomorrow so...be prepared."
And with that they end their discussion.

Everyone was leaving the room except mariko and no3b members.

"*sighed* I’m hungry~ “said miichan leaning on the chair rubbing her growled stomach.

"Tsk... Before the meeting I saw you eating like a pig...and now you hungry?! Seriously what are you?" Said Mariko to miichan who just stuck her tongue at Mariko.

Takamina just chuckled seeing them.

But then Takamina notice that someone had been spacing out since the beginning of the discussion already.
Mariko and miichan also turn their head to look at the person.
Takamina look at miichan then miichan look at Takamina.

"Haruna." Called miichan to wake her up from her deep thought.
But looks like she doesn’t listen.

"Nyan nyan...are you okay?" This time Takamina try by shaking her shoulder.
"Mm? Ehh? What? Where is everyone? The meeting is already over?" Haruna finally snapped out from her thought.

The other three just rolled their eyes seeing Haruna’s reaction.

"Nyan nyan, is there something that you hide from us? Because it seems lately you have been spacing out a lot you know." A concern Takamina asked her.
"Yeah, you also always going out and going home late. You look suspicious you know." Said miichan narrowed her eyes at Haruna.
"N-no! I-im okay...I’m just..." Haruna is looking around to avoid their eyes.
"Just what? Just thinking about someone? Huh?" Mariko smirked when she saw Haruna blushed.



"You are thinking about me aren’t you?" Added Mariko joking.

Miichan laughing out loud when Mariko said that.

"SHUT UP GACHAPIN!!!" Yelled Mariko.
Miichan stopped laughing and then quickly turn her head to Haruna again.

"Who is it?" Asked miichan like a secret agent she is.

"W-what? W-who do you mean?" Haruna stuttered when miichan asked that sudden question.

"A-ha~ I just remember now... last night when I go out I saw you with someone..." said Mariko smirked.
"Eh? W-what? S-she's just a friend!!" Said Haruna blushed.

"A friend? Really? You guys were holding hands that time..." mariko rise one of her eyebrow.

"She?!! Holding hands?!! Who is she?!!" Said miichan while shaking Haruna’s shoulder.

"Miichan you are over-reacting!!!" Takamina stopped miichan.



"Hmmm...I think I should call Yuko now." Said mariko taking out her phone and acting like she's searching for Yuko's number.

"W-what?! Marichan don’t!!!" Haruna was trying to stop her.
"Eh?! Wait a minute...don't tell me...it’s her?!" Said miichan when she saw Haruna’s reaction when Mariko mention Yuko’s name.

Haruna was blushing hard right now.

Mariko and miichan grinned at each other.

"Okay fine!" Haruna crossed her arms pouting but still blushing.

"When did you two started going out?" Asked miichan.
"W-well...2 months ago..." answered Haruna shyly.

“Who ask first??” Asked miichan again.
“H-her” Haruna answered it with a shy smile.




"When is your first kiss?" Asked miichan again.

"Ouch!!!" Miichan got smacked by mariko for asking a nonsense question.
"Stop asking stupid question! “

"Wait...I still don't get it...who is it?" Takamina who still clueless finally asking something.

Both miichan and Mariko slapped their own forehead while Haruna just laugh at her.

"That it! Let’s get something to eat! I'm so hungry! And you need food to work out your brain bakamina!"
Said miichan while dragging Takamina out of the room.

"*sighed* looks like I have no chance..."joked mariko leaning on the chair while Haruna just smiled at her.

.
That night, they had prepared everything for the attack.
Everything was done as planned.
That night, Takamina keeps telling everyone to be careful.
Their safety also important since the one they will attack was the strongest opponent.
Their target will be heading to a place where they will be doing a drugs trading with the other mafia.

“They are heading to the place right now.” Whispered Miichan to Takamina when she received the information from their spy there.

 Takamina nodded to her signaling that they will be ready.

No3b and some of Mariko’s underling already not so far from the place.
While Mariko is preparing the backup in case anything happen.


From their place, Takamina and the others could see their target already arrived at the place.
It seems that they did not bring many people there so it was an advantage for them to make an attack on them.

Takamina signaling to them to block every way so that the mafia group couldn’t skip from the attack.

She looks at the leader of the mafia group, her eyes showing anger.

“Takamina...” Mariko pat her shoulder try to calm Takamina from her anger or else she would suddenly run out to them by herself.
Eventually, Takamina manage to control her anger.

After a while watching the drugs trading, they started to come out from their hiding place to start attacking them.

With the sudden attack from them, the group widens their eyes in shocked as they are not prepared for it.

But the first thing they do was to protect their leader.

No3b along with Mariko’s group started to attack them with their own weapon.
They tried to attack the leader but he was being surrounded by his bodyguard in order to protect him.
Takamina who saw the leader started to rage as she runs towards where the leader was and attack his underling first.

Haruna saw Takamina trying to attack the leader comes to help her.
Haruna kick someone who tried to hit Takamina from behind.

Then Haruna stand behind Takamina as her back is facing Takamina’s.

“This is getting fun.” Said Haruna to Takamina still facing their opponent.

Takamina smile hearing it.


“Takamina, their leader is alone right now, I’ll take care of them.” Whispered Haruna to Takamina.
Without answering, Takamina runs towards the leader who was running away from the place when he was aware that he is in trouble. Haruna tried her best to stop the leader’s bodyguard from going to their leader.


The leader keeps running all his might cuz Takamina is faster.

Unfortunately, he met the dead end in front of him.

Takamina smirk when she saw he doesn’t have anywhere to run from her.

“Tsk…Kato Kenji…where are you going to run now?” said Takamina tighten her fist to control herself.

“So? What are you going to do to me?” asked Kenji facing her still not afraid.

“You killed my parents!!!” Takamina gritted her teeth in anger.

He was confused at first when she said that…but then he remembered.

“Owh…that was your parents? Sorry but they are getting in my way so I have to killed them.” Said him making Takamina more angry.
Takamina dashed towards him as she couldn’t control her anger anymore.
She punches him hard on his face making him fall on the ground.

“Arrrghhh! You’re quite strong for a midget huh…”

Takamina keep punching and kicking him but he also try to fight back but Takamina is in rage making him to only defend himself.
Then he saw a metal bar on the ground so he took the chance to take the metal bar and hit Takamina with it.
Takamina saw it and react faster by holding the metal bar before it hit her body.
The man was shocked so he kicks Takamina on the stomach.

Then he tries the second time to hit her with the metal bar.
Takamina still stopped him then she took the metal bar harshly from him.

“You are going to pay for what have you done to my family!” shout Takamina while hitting him with the metal bar.

Kenji protects himself by using his arm.

Takamina with her anger hitting hard on his right leg making him groaned in pain.
She keeps hitting the same part continuously.

He keeps shouting in pain. “Arrghh!!! STOP IT!!!”

But Takamina suddenly stop hitting him. The metal bar on her hand fall on the ground.
Then she falls on the ground unconscious revealing the other man with the metal bar in his hand behind her.

“Kenzo…” said the man to the other guy.
“Dad, I hit her!” said the man to his dad who’s still on the ground.

“What are you doing here?” Asked his dad.
“I came here as soon I got called from our underling. Let’s go!” explain him as he helps his father to get up.

Haruna arrived there before two of them manage to run away.
When Haruna saw Takamina lying on the ground, she was shocked.

“Takamina!!!” Scream her but then she saw the two men in front of her.

Mariko and Miichan who heard Haruna run towards the place to see what happen.

They saw the leader with his son trying to run away from the place.
The black car arrived at the place. The son put his father inside the car quickly.

Before he also gets in the car, someone suddenly flying kick on him makes him fall far from the car.

He told the driver to just drive without him.
Looks like he’s protecting his father.

It was Yuko who was doing the flying kick.
“Come on! One on one!” shout Yuko to her.
He smirked to her and they started they fight.

Haruna, Miichan and Mariko just watching him. The other underlings already on the ground and some were running away to save themselves.
Mariko’s backup still fighting with the other mafia who’s coming with Kenzo.

After that Haruna remember Takamina so she runs to her.
Miichan and Mariko also run to where Takamina is lying.

“Takamina, are you okay?” said Haruna worried to the unconcsious Takamina while putting her head on her lap.

Takamina’s head is bleeding.

Haruna look up at Miichan. “We need to bring her to the hospital.” Miichan says.

Haruna nodded and Miichan help her to lift Takamina.

“I’ll take care here. You guys go bring Takamina to the hospital. Quick!” said Mariko.
With that Haruna and Miichan bringing Takamina to the hospital with the help of their people.

Yuko is still fighting with Kenzo. Looks like he’s starting to get tired.
Mariko also joins Yuko. She kicks him hard on the stomach.

Before Yuko start to hit him again, Mariko stopped her. Yuko was confused.

“Let’s leave him…to the police.” Smirked Mariko.

Yuko nodded.

Mariko dragged him to the light pole nearby. He was too tired to fight back.

“Sasshi!” Mariko calling Sasshi.
“Yes?” answered Sasshi running towards her.
“Do you bring the handcuffs?” asked Mariko to her.

Sasshi took out the handcuffs from her bag and give it to her boss.
Mariko handcuffed his hand to the light pole so that he can’t run.

“You are going to pay for what you did to Takamina.” Said Mariko while dialing a number on her phone.

 “Hello, is this police station? I would like to report that there is group of mafia doing a drugs trading here.
And…Kato Kenzo is here, he tried to kill a girl just now. She already on the way to the hospital. I’ll tell you the place.”

“You…” mumbled Kenji without opening his eyes still weak.

Then Mariko and the others leave the place without leaving any clues to the police that they were there also.
End of flashback.



okay next update will be 2 years from now.

Yeah... an update about Takamina's past cont.

Takamina was still clueless about Haruna and Yuko's relationship... even when they were discussing all those in front of her...

Great action scenes there... I could just image it....

Ah... Just a little more... every thing was perfect with Takamina's plan, and she was beating Kato Kenji up...

But she got struck by Kenzo from behind... because of her blind rage over her parents' killer... she was not aware of her surrounding...

So that was why Kenzo was in prison... because of Mariko and her group had done... but she could not link it to Kenji at all...

I guess the wound from Kenji... resulting Takamina became what she was now...

And why did Haruna leave Takamina while Miichan more than happy taking care of current state of Takamina?

Would Yuki be able to save Mayu?

Would Takamina be able to remember everything back and take her revenge?

How did Miichan and Mariko lose contact after all these time...?

How did Mayu, Jurina and the other younger girls come and live with Miichan...?

Can't wait to find out what's going to happen in the next chapter?

Chapter 20 part 1


Acchan’s pov
After hearing everything from Mariko, I headed to Miichan’s bakery to see my favorite midget. It’s already late.
My mind is still thinking about what I had heard from Mariko earlier, especially her questions.

Do I really love Minami?
If one day Minami is back to normal, do I still love her?
Am I ready to accept whether Takamina remember me or not when she got her memories back?
What if she doesn’t remember me?
And the worst is what if she hates me because I’m a mafia?
Mariko said Takamina once ask her to stop being a mafia and live a normal life.
Mafia is a mafia after all whether they are good or bad.

But, it all doesn’t matter for now.
All I need to think is Minami’s safety.
Before I leave Mariko’s room, she tells me about the man who just being release from prison a few weeks ago. The one who make Minami becomes like that.

Kato Kenzo.

I think he is the one I saw outside the restaurant when me and Minami eating.
He looks like he wants to kill her.
From now on, I have to be careful. I heard that he had many underlings.
I have to protect Minami from them.
End of Acchan’s pov


Acchan was so busy with her thought that she doesn’t realize that she already arrived at Miichan’s bakery.
“Hey Acchan!” greeted Miichan at the counter when she saw Acchan enters the bakery.
“Hey.” Greeted Acchan shortly with a smile.
“Takamina is inside. She’s being waiting for you. And just bring her back home since it already late.
 I still have worked to do here.” Said Miichan while her hand is busy working.
“Okay.” Answered Acchan then she walk inside the back room.

There she saw Minami playing psp on the couch with a pouting face.
Acchan quickly sit besides her smiling to her.

Minami saw Acchan besides her then pouting while looking away.
“Ne…are you mad?” Asked Acchan to her when Minami looking away from her.
Seeing Minami did not answering her question, Acchan wrapped her arms around Minami and lean her chin on her shoulder.

“Acchan say sorry okay…” said Acchan looking at her.
“Acchan is late!” said Takamina finally saying something.
“Sorry~ sorry~ I promised I won’t be late again okay?” says Acchan.
Minami turned her head to look at Acchan and slowly smiles.
“Okay!” said her smiling.

Acchan smiles back to her.

“Let’s go.” Acchan took her hand and walk out of the bakery.


As they were walking, Takamina suddenly realizes they already passed the playground.
Takamina stopped walking and look at Acchan.
“What’s wrong?” Asked Acchan.
“Where are we going?” Asked Takamina curious.
“Home.” Answered Acchan shortly.

“But I want to play~” whined Takamina while swaying Acchan’s hand.
“Minami, it’s late already, let’s just go home. We can play tomorrow.” Tell Acchan smiles to her.
Takamina started to pout shows her sad face.

Acchan quickly pull Takamina and hug her tightly.
Takamina was surprised by the sudden action.
“Acchan.”Said Takamina still dumbfounded.
“Let’s just stay like this for a while okay...” Said Acchan tighten her hug without open her eyes.
“Un.” Takamina nodded and also started to put her arms around Acchan’s waist.


After a while, Acchan part from the hug.
Takamina looks at her with a confused face making Acchan to giggle.
“Minami, do you want to go to amusement park?” Asked Acchan smiling.
Takamina’s eyes started to sparkle brightly when Acchan mention amusement park.

Her smile grew bigger and bigger.

She nodded continuously.

“Un! Yes! I want to go there! I really want to go there!” said Takamina actively.

Acchan let out a small laugh seeing Takamina’s reaction.
“Okay, soon I’ll bring you to the amusement park okay?” Said Acchan.

“Okay! Can Miichan join too?” Asked Takamina innocently.

Acchan nodded.

“Jurina-chan?” Asked her again.

Acchan nodded again.

“Ermm…Mayu-chan?” Asked her again.

Acchan nodded while giggling.

“Ermm…-“Acchan interrupt her before Takamina could list more name.
“Bring everyone then.” Said Acchan smiling to her.

“Yay! We’ll go to amusement park!!!” shout Takamina jumping around and suddenly she jump on Acchan’s back.

Luckily Acchan manage to hold both her legs.
“You’re getting heavy Minami!” joked Acchan laughing.

“Let’s go home!” said Acchan then walk with Takamina on her back.

At Miichan’s house.

Everyone is at the living room.
Miichan, Lovetan and Takamina are watching TV while Jurina and Kanon are doing their homework.
They haven’t realized that someone is not there.
“Ne, minna~ Acchan said she will bring me to the amusement park.” Tells Takamina to them.
“Really?” asked Miichan while caressing Takamina’s hair.
“Un! And she said everyone can join too!” said her cheerfully.
“Yay!” Shout Jurina with joy making everyone doing the same.

Then Takamina started to look around sensing something is wrong.
“Where’s Mayu-chan?” Asked her still looking around.
Everyone also started to look around the house.
Jurina even goes to their room to see whether Mayu is sleeping but she’s not there.
“She’s not here.” Said Jurina.
“Maybe she’s at her father’s house.” Lovetan says.

“Hmmm…maybe…but it’s rare for her to go to her home at this time,
 usually when she goes home she would tell us first.” Said Jurina curious.
“Call her.” Said Miichan started to get worried.

Jurina took her phone and then dial Mayuyu’s number.
“Her phone is off.” Said Jurina when she tries to call her.

“That’s weird, Mayuyu never turn her phone off.” Lovetan said starting to get worried.
“Let me ask Black.” Said Miichan texting Black. She got Black’s number during Takamina’s birthday.

Hey Black, I just want to ask you about Mayuyu. Did she stay at her father’s house tonight?”

At the other side,
Black who just got out from Watanabe’s villa just received the message from Miichan.

‘She is not home yet? She is not here at her father’s house too…’ thought Black.
Then she tried to call Mayuyu’s phone but it was off.
“Where could she be…” mumbled Black thinking.

Then she remembered the time when she left Mayu because Mayu took her wallet secretly
 from her pocket and she could not hold her anger, that time she saw that tomboy girl walking
 towards Mayu as she walks away from Mayu.

‘I have a bad feeling towards this girl from the first time we met…’ said Black in her mind.

She started to get worried. Then she text Miichan back.

Black doesn’t want them to get worried that’s why she lied to them.

“I need to find Mayu…” Said Black worried.

Not long after she got a new message from an unknown number.

It says,
