I'm back.
What's up everyone? That sure was a looong time since the last time I've been here. But finally, I'm back. I'm sorry if it took me this long to update. I apologize

A few words before I start the chapter. I've actually written a long chapter. I think it was 12 pages long but I don't want you to get bored with it so I decided to cut it into 2 parts. I'll post it in a few days or so.
Sorry for the wrong grammar and boring writing style. Newbie here

On to the replies:
@bunny_rabbit: I think the Amina problem will be handle in the next part. An don't worry, these girls will do something to survive. I hope

Anyway, thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this next one.
@cisda83: You're welcome

Getting safe is their number 1 priority and I can safely assure that Takamina will do something about it. About Acchan, I don't know, maybe she'll appear, maybe not. I'm still thinking. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy your reading.
@kenjoy12: I love High School of the Dead and the Resident Evil franchise

I love any zombie related literature that's out there. Thank you for liking my work. I'll do my best to keep it up even though I suck at writing hehehe

Anyway, thank you for reading
@Elo: I was actually thinking of "some" pairing. Maybe it will add more drama

Anyway, thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this one
@Minamiyuki: That would be badass. Having heavy artillery would be super badass. I would have to think of some really nice guns then. And by the way, sorry for updating late. Anyway, thank you for reading
@mitsuhara_itsuko: Yeah, you're right. Managing a huge group would be difficult in this situation. Takamina's skill will be tested on this one. Thank you for reading
@AgentBlueBear: Pairings would be nice. Maybe I'll thrown in a few subtle 'moments'.

Can you guess which one? Anyway, thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this one just like the last.
@7sam14: Survival is their number one priority and Takamina will make sure of it

Imagine your oshimen with a weapon, that would be so cool

Sorry for my rumbling there hehehe Thank you for reading
@irgheto: Awww thank you for such nice and sweet words. But still, I think my writing skills are lame heheh Thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this one
@Cessy10: I hate those jumpscares. I hate it! I hate it! hehehe

But I think post apocalyptic genres are a bit cool and mind blowing. And just like I said, I may or may not add Acchan. Still thinking about it. Thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this one as well
@kuro_808: Roaming zombies are never a sight I wanna see. They'll have to think of a plan to get the hell out of there alive hehehe

Anyway, thank you for reading
@Yuki88: High School of the Dead is one of my favorites and maybe was my inspiration when I was making this idea.

Anyway thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy it
@POPCAT: With badass guns of course hehehe

My imagination went wild for a minute there. Imagining Takamina with an sub machine gun in hand, two handgun in each side of the belt, wearing camouflage pants with a white tank top. I have a weird mind sometimes

Thank you for reading
@nunku: Just like I said, I'm still thinking if I should include Acchan. Seeing a lot of you are asking about her, there's a good chance she will

Thank you for reading
@rhin hahaha

Now I can't stop thinking Takamina hiding behind a peashooter. That would be funny if it really happen

Thank you for reading
@Amakuchi: I remember playing Left 4 Dead one night with the light off and suddenly someone touch my shoulder from behind. It was my father but it scared the shit out of me. heheh Just sharing useless and out of topic story

With my crazy rambling, thank you for reading
@Crossing Crossroads: Thank you for finding my story interesting

You made a really good point there. A huge number will attract them. And just like you, I don't want anyone to be "taken" but it has to be. My weird mind was the one who thought of this story. I blame it for making this heheh

Anyway, thank you for reading
@Minami-chan: Even myself I don't know who will survive. But there a few 'situations' that I'm thinking. Please don't kill me if I 'accidentally' kill one of your favorites

Anyway, thank you for reading.
And for the
silent readers and
thank you clickers thank you so much. And also for those who participate in the poll I put up. It's nice to see your opinions

Again, sorry for my lame writing skills. My lame writing skills are lame

And sorry too for my late update. Please bear with me, I'm a slow writer.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: It's Not Safe Anymore Part 1“What do we do now?”
It was normal and simple question but it made everyone’s mind blank. Unsure of what to say and what to do, Takahashi stood still while the rest just stare at her patiently. Her glances shifted to her friend who is tied up in chair with a craze look in her eyes and to the girls who are probably scared as she is.
A simple nudge from the tall girl caught her attention from her own thoughts. She looked up to find her cell phone being handed to her as Sayaka gave her a blank expression. It was the first time Takahashi saw this look from the always serious and focus Sayaka. The small hint of feeling scared was subtle but Takahashi can see it clearly through her eyes.
She turned around to find Haruna still on the floor, trembling while Mariko puts an arm around her as she tries to comfort her. Mariko pats her back while staring at Takahashi, silently asking for her to say something.
She then turned back to the rest of the group, looking at each and everyone. She is always the one they all look after to. The one they run to when they have a problem with the dance moves, the one they ask to for advice and the one they know that will always guide them. But how can she guide them when even herself is afraid. How can she possibly know what to do next when she doesn’t know what’s happening.
Her throat began to clasp together. The pressure inside her body began increasing rapidly and her breathing become irregular. Her head began to feel heavy.
She was hyperventilating. But then, a hand grabs her shoulders. She looks up and saw Yuko.
“Breathe.” It was a simple word coming from her friend but it managed to calm the small captain. The pressure that’s building up on her suddenly disappeared. The small captain gave a nod in returned.
“Whatever happens, we will always be here.” Her friend looked deep on her eyes, showing a deep sense of trust.
The small captain gathered up her composure and found the courage to speak up. She now looks around the room with a new perspective.
“Listened up. Right now some
things happening outside. All we know that whatever is out there, it’s dangerous. I suggest we stay here until help comes.”
“D-D-Didn’t we just heard that the military can’t reach us?”
“How about the evacuation we just heard? Didn’t they left already?”
“We still have to trust our government. They will find a way.” These words are not only for them to believe in, but also for Takahashi. Trusting in something that may never come true is not the best thing to do but it was the only thing they can do.
“Besides, it’s dangerous to move in the night. If nothing happens until noon, we’ll go out ourselves.”
“In the meantime, we need to stick together and stay here.” This decision might be a bad one but it will have to do. She haven’t got any choice and judging by the reaction of the others, they don’t agree.
“C-C-Can I go home?” A voice from the grieve stricken girl said as she sat on the floor as Mariko comforting her.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” The tall girl said as she looks deep into Haruna's eyes. She looks back at Takahashi as a sign of help.
“Why can’t we go home?” Yui suddenly said.
“Yeah, we need to go home and look for our families.” Followed by Shimazaki.
“They’re right. We can’t stay here.”
“I want to go home”
“It’s dangerous to stay here.”
“I want to leave.”
“No, we have to stay here and wait.”
“I can’t wait anymore.”
It was madness. The room was filled with noises coming from each and everyone. A lot of bickering and helpless call was the only thing can be heard. It made
Takahashi’s head hurts. She can’t take it. The pressure was building up again. Voices from everyone continued as she clutch her head down.
She wanted to say something. Anything to make it all stop.
“Wait guys, can we just---“
*BANG*
“….”
“….”
“What the hell was that?” Yuko said as another loud bang made its way. As it continues, all of them slowly turn to the source.
“It’s the door.” Takahashi said as cold sweat trickle down her forehead. Her heart began beating as fast as it could as the thought of those things have finally come.
The door now shakes heavily as another loud bang that almost tumbled the chair that is blocking the door. The force bang even harder as the first lock finally broke.
All of the members were silent. They were frozen on their spot as fear crept in their bodies. Their wide eyes can see the door forcefully being bashed open.
And finally---
A loud bang made the door wide open and revealed a huge seven feet tall man covered in blood. The man was wearing a tight black t-shirt that has the words ‘SECURITY’ written on the back. The man’s skin was pale and his eyes have turn into pure white.
It stood still at the doorway for a while as it scanned the room filled with fear as the members stay quiet. It let out a nasty growled as it slowly walked towards them.
‘I can’t let that thing hurt the girls.’ Takahashi thought to herself as she quietly stepped in front of everyone with eyes set with determination to protect everything she loves.
The sudden movement attracted the man’s attention. Then without hesitation, it sprints towards her. Takahashi stood her ground as the man gets near to her. She closed her eyes as she anticipates what’s going to happen next.
A loud thud made Takahashi open her eyes. She saw Sayaka in front of her as the man was lying on the floor.
“Sayaka.” The small captain whispered.
“Don’t be an idiot, Minami. We appreciate the heroic act but we don’t need to lose another one.” Sayaka simply said as she bashed the man’s head with an umbrella.
The man continues to move but Sayaka immediately hit him again and with one final blow, blood splatter all over the floor.
The rest of the members had the mouths agape as they saw Sayaka panting heavily in front of the body. A pool of blood spilled all over the floor.
“We can’t stay here anymore. Any second now not only that man will come here and barge in the door. There will be plenty of them.” Sayaka clenched tightly on the bloody and broken umbrella.
“B-But where will we go? It’s dangerous outside.” One of the members said.
It was quiet for awhile, looking at each other as they try to search for a solution but then, someone spoke.
“I think I have that covered. My uncle has a warehouse just outside of Tokyo. The place is build like a fortress with high concrete walls and metal gates surrounding the area.” The captain of team B said as she shows them a set of keys. “Good thing I have the key right here.”
“How would we get there? We can’t just waltz outside and run like hell. We’ll be out in the open. It’s too dangerous.” Team K’s captain joined in their conversation.
“I think the mini bus is still on the garage. If it already left, we would have heard it leave.” Mayu suggested. “We could use it.”
“But who will drive it? More importantly we don’t have the keys.”
“That’s where I’ll come in.” Miichan suddenly said. “Do you remember that I’m the president of the Driving Club?”
“How about the keys?”
“They normally put the keys on a hook in the garage and if that fails, I’ll just hotwire it. Hotwiring a car is part of the basic knowledge to get a driver’s license.” Miichan then glance at the worried Takahashi. “I can do it.”
The small captain sighed. Seeing her friends all determined to leave that place left her no other choice. She’ll have to believe in them just like how they believed in her.
“Ok. We’ll leave in five so pack your things and be ready to move out.” Takahashi instructed as the rest quickly went over to their things. Seeing Sayaka still panting hard, she went over to her side and put a hand on her shoulder.
“Are you ok?”
“I…… should….be the one…asking you that.” Sayaka said as tries to catch her breath. “Don’t ever do that again, Minami.”
“Here, seeing you all work up, you deserve a bottled water.” Yuko said as she approached the two.
“Thanks.” Sayaka took one long gulp and it immediately refreshes her throat.
“The man is huge and it made Sayaka sweat from taking it down so why would you do that Takamina? That guy was twice your height” Yuko said towards the small captain.
“I know it’s just that….” Takahashi can’t look at Yuko straight as shame took over her.
“You don’t have to prove yourself to us. We already know that you can lead us. After all, you are our captain and as captain you’ll have to believe in your members.
“I’m sorry I was just-“
“You don’t have to apologize. Just tell us what to do and I’ll follow you whatever what.” Sayaka said as she empty the water. “Just like you, I will protect everyone just like my brother did.”
This made Takahashi realize Sayaka’s situation. A few hours ago, she received word about her brother’s death from protecting a small group. Knowing a family member died, normally can make you feel lost and vulnerable.
“I’m sorry about your brother.”
“Don’t worry. My brother died for a purpose and like him, I’ll make sure that everyone is safe.” Sayaka said with a smile on her face.
“We’re ready Minami.” Mariko said as she the rest of the members stood before her.
“Give us your orders, captain.” Yuko said as she smiled at Takahashi.
The small captain nodded in agreement and looks over the members.
“Find any blunt or sharp object and use it as a weapon. We are leaving this room and we don’t know what kind of hell is out there. If you found anything useful, bring it back here.”
The others rush out to look around the room to find anything they can use. Inside the studio, only a few items can be found inside but luckily, there was a small closet that the management uses as storage for props and material. Maybe they can see something useful in there.
“I found something in here.” Mayu said as she picked up a tool box.
“Good work, now see if there is something else inside the closet.” The small captain gladly said. It was the first time she can see hope back in everyone’s eyes as they work together. She glance over at Yuko and Sayaka and found the two smiling at her.
“Ok! Place everything you found here. Let’s go!” The members hurriedly gathered and place their stuff in front.
There were a few items like a few umbrellas, bamboo sticks in the prop room, a small metal pipe, box cutters and Mayu’s toolbox.
“Let’s look inside the toolbox.” Takahashi crouch down and open the toolbox. Inside, there was a hammer, a wrench, a box of screws, 3 screwdrivers, and a bundled metal wire.
“That’s going to be useful especially that screwdriver. I can use it to hotwire the mini bus.” Miichan said as Takamina handed it over.
“Here. You can even use it as a weapon.”
“Yeah, I can stick this in their brains if I have too.” Miichan gave a smile to her friend as she tries to assures her.
“With these, I think I can’t give everyone a weapon but we’ll leave in teams. We need to move in small numbers so we can’t attract any of those.” Takahashi glance at the girls, one by one looking through their faces.
“Ready to move out?” was the small captain’s question before they took off.
