Poll result feels more like "who has the most fans" than "who has more possibility to survive" to be honest XD;

Well, took you long enough to post the update but this is pretty nice, and actually I won't object if you do post all of them in one chapter :P
Anai Chihiro is my one and only.

It's not safe to be out in the open but it is also not safe to be a sitting duck

Would they survive the journey...?

Would they be able to live long enough to get to safety or someone rescue them?

What's going to happen next?

Can't wait to find out

Thank you for the update...

Hey everyone  :)

I know that I said that I'll post the next part a 'few' days but something tells me to post it on Halloween.

Happy Halloween minna-san  :) :) :)

On to the replies:
@Yuki88: Yeah I feel that too. But as a writer, I'll try my best not to be bias in this. Keyword: try  :) But as you can see I made my 3rd favorite to show symptoms of psychological problems. hehehe is that enough?  XD This part actually had a lot of revising because I'm not use to with this kind of scene. Again, thank you for reading and supporting :)

@Shinoki: I think Sayaka is the only one who can do that and the same with Takamina. It fits well with their character that I put that scene. Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this one :)

@mitsuhara_itsuko: Get ready for a wild ride cause it will now start :) Better hold on to your seats and make sure you have the seatbelts on  Just kidding. I don't think I can set the tone for it. Wish me luck :) Again, thank you for reading :)

@AshuraX: With a lot of demand for Acchan, the possibility are increasing that I will put her in the story. And wow, I haven't heard Sayamina before :) Again, thank you for reading :)

@cisda83: Decisions, decisions. It's really hard to make them. And something tells me that this will be a long and hard journey :) Again, thank you for reading :)

And for the silent readers and thank you clickers thank you so much. Even though I can't see you, I can feel your support which helps me out a lot :)

Oh by the way, a little reminder and must read: The setting for this fic is the time before the  Budokan concert 2013. Which means, this is Kasai's last concert before her graduation, Sayaka, Mariko, Tomochin haven't graduate yet, Sae is still in SNH and haven't announce that she will be a full time member of SNH and Acchan is no longer a part of AKB.

WARNING This fiction may contain possible deaths of members. Read at your own risk.

Chapter 2: It's Not Safe Anymore Part 2

“CLOSE THE DOOR! CLOSE THE DOOR!” A group of girls came running and yelled at the top of their lungs as it echoes around the dark hallway into the garage door.

“Hurry!” The small captain instructed as the group of girls finally arrive. Immediately, she slammed the door shut and blocked it using a large table.

“That…… was close.” The slightly taller girl slumped on the floor as she tries to catch her breath. They were now inside the garage and luckily, the mini bus was
still there. One of their problems are now solve and the only thing is missing is the keys.

Before the last group arrives, the rest was looking every inch of the room for the key and any kind of supplies they can use. So far, they found a fire axe and some additional tools.

“You guys ok?” Worried apparent on Takahashi eyes as she looks at the last group to arrive.

“Yeah…. *sign* We made *sign* it.” Sae leaned back on the wall, exhausted from their run.

Yuko, Sae, Ami and Sasshi were the last group assigned to leave the studio. While they were moving, they stumbled upon a group of those things. With Sae and Yuko the only ones who are armed with bamboo sticks, they were outnumbered and they decided to make a run for it.

“Take some rest. We’ll guard the door as the others will keep searching for the key.” The small captain left her post to Sayaka and went over mini bus.

“How’s it looking over here?” Takahashi asked.

“It’s harder than it looks in the textbook hehehe.” Miichan smiled timidly as she sat at the driver seat. It was the first time Takahashi saw someone smiled after these past events. Seeing the smile, it was somewhat comforting.

“I need a few minutes to figure it out but it will surely help if we can find the stupid key already.” The Gachapin mechanic went under the steering wheel and resumed back to work.

“Yeah, will do.” The small captain left the vehicle and went to the others to look.
The group was divided into groups. Mayu, Yuki and Umeda were searching the metal cabinet while Tomomi and Tomochin went to the garage office.

“Hey Tomomi, are you ok?” Tomochin asked.

“Yeah, I’m ok …. It’s just that….” Tomomi’s voice was faint but Tomochin heard her.

“Just what?”

“I felt bad for Amina. We should have tried to bring her here but instead we-“

“Don’t say it.”

The room felt silent. You can feel the heavy tension in the atmosphere.

“It’s just that… we need to put her out of her misery.”

Moments before they decide to leave, the rest of the group talked when the first group left the room. The elephant in the room was finally brought up to the discussion when Mayu address it.

“We can’t just leave her here.” Was Takahashi’s first and immediate reply.

“But we can’t bring her along too.” Yuko responded.

“But-. “ Takahashi was cut off.

“Yuko’s right.” The owner of the voice was firm.

“But Sayaka.”

“We need to be logical. If we bring her along, she will hurt the others. As far as we know, if you get bitten or even just a small scratch from them, you’ll become one of  them. ” The facts are becoming clear. It all happen when Amina left the room but when she came back, it happened. Anything can happen
in a split second.

“Maybe there’s a cure to all of this, yeah, there will be. All of this will past eventually.” The small captain was determine. She doesn’t want anyone left behind. “I mean, come on. We can’t just abandon her.”

“What if it doesn’t? We don’t know how severe this outbreak is.” The tall woman said. “Ok let’s just say that there is a cure, we don’t know where will we get it and who’s going to make it. As far as we know, every one left Tokyo already.

Takahashi was silent. Reality was hitting her hard and she doesn’t want to face it. She closed her eyes real tight, imagining that this was all a dream. A dream where any second now, she’ll open her eyes and see the bright blue sky under her pink blanket and she’ll leave for work where everyone will still be there, smiling and laughing like before. She opens her eyes and realize that this is now her reality.

“We can’t take her with us. We just can’t” This time, Sayaka’s voice lowered. “We have to understand and accept this fact.”

“….”

“….”

“….”

“I don’t want to leave her here all alone.” Tears began dripping from the small captains face as her mind came into a conclusion.

“I think you know what we’ll need to do.” The tall woman handed her the same umbrella. The umbrella that Sayaka used moments before. Takahashi took one good look at it.

This was her responsibility, her responsibility as captain. To ensure everyone is safe and most importantly, free from suffering.
She took it from the bloodied hands and held it tight. She closed her eyes, wishing that it doesn’t have to be this way.

“It’s been 10 minutes, let the second group move.” The small captain ordered. “Sayaka, Tomomi, Tomochin and Yui. Mariko and Miichan’s group are waiting for you at the garage.”

“If you want, let me do it. You don’t have to do this if you’re not ready.” Sayaka took Takahashi’s shoulder but then she can see the determination from her eyes. Slowly, the tall girl let go.

“It’s ok. I can do this.” You can hear a small sense of uncertainty from Takahashi’s voice. Before Sayaka and the others move, she went over to Yuko.

“If anything happens, help her.”

“Understood.”

As Yui and Tomochin cleared the hallway, one by one they move out. Sayaka was the last one to leave but before she left, she saw Takahashi standing in front of Amina. The small captain raised her hand hesitantly, clenching her grip tight. Sayaka left before the small captain strike down. She closed the door as she can hear a loud sound.

“Takamina sure is brave.” Tomomi said. “If I were in her position, I will never have the courage to do it.”

“If it for the safety of my loved ones, I will do same.” Tomochin said as she took Tomomi’s hands. “Especially for you.”

They stayed in that position for awhile, looking deep into each other’s eyes. Then suddenly.

“Found it!” Yuki’s voice broke everyone’s silence and at the same time-

*VROOM*

“Ehhhhh! I’ve finally able to start this thing and at the same time, you suddenly found the key.” Miichan said.

“Now now, that’s okay. Good job everyone. Now, kill the engine. We don’t want to attract them with the noise.” The small captain ordered. “Look for anything
useful to bring.”

As the others load the mini bus, Takahashi went over to Umeda.

“Are you sure it’s safe?”

“Of course, it’s a bit far from Tokyo so it’s far from them . But we need to make a few stops to get the supplies before going there.”

“You’re right. First we need to make a route on where will we be going.”

Overhearing the conversation, Yuko went to them and handed a map.

“I found this under the drawer. It will definitely help us.” Yuko spread the map on the table and adjust the desk lamp so that they can clearly see it.

“Ohh.” Mayu suddenly joined in to their conversation. “There’s a combini in the next block. We could stop for supplies there.”

“But I think there’s a public park in front of it. There’s going to be a lot of them in there.” Yuko said as she points to the map.

The four of them scanned the area for a while as they thought of a way to make their journey safe.

“I got it. There’s also a small combini 4 blocks from here. There’s no commercial place nearby so probably, there’s less of them there.” Mayu’s voice was full of hope as she looks at Takahashi.

“Our only problem is how we will get there. Maybe if we took this road here and make a right turn here, will have a straight path.”

It took some time for three to think of a plan. While they are discussing, Sasshi notice something.

“Hey guys. The machine for the garage door won’t open.” Hearing the problem, the small captain looked at the girls at the table.

“Mayu, I’ll hand this over to you. I’m going to take a look.” The small captain left the table and went over to the garage door.

Takahashi flipped the switch a few time but to no avail. This is going to be a problem. None of them know this kind of stuff.

“I’m going to stay here while I check for a way out. Go over to Miichan and see if she needs any help.” The small captain instructed.

“Hai.”

Leaving the captain, Sasshi entered the minibus and stand next to Miichan. The girl at the driver seat was looking over at the dashboard, pedals, the rear view mirrors, practically everywhere.

“Do you really know how to drive this thing?”

“Yeah….. Well, a little.” Miichan said as she smiled sheepishly.

“A little?” A bit skeptic, Sasshi looked at the driver.

“Hey! I know this kind of stuff. I’m not a professional but I know this. I can even teach you” Miichan then thought of an idea. “I got it. How about I make you my assistant.”

“Assistant?”

“Yeah. Since I’m the only one who has experience in this kind of stuff, I need someone who I can pass my knowledge to. You know, for safety reason.” Miichan’s voice was softer as she said the last part. “We will never know if I’ll still be alive when all of this is over and we can’t-“

“That’s never gonna happen.” The taller girl interrupted. ”We are going to get through this. If we stick together, nothing ever bad is going to happen.”

The small girl was touch by her words that water began building up in her eyes.

“Stop being such a crybaby.”

“I can’t help it.”

----------

After a few minutes of planning, Yuko shouted to the small girl near the garage door.

“Yo, Takamina. We found a safe route.”

“Wait. Give me a second.”

Yuko went over to the small captain to see what is she doing.

“Need help?”

“That’s ok. I think I figure it out.” The small captain said “You see those two chains at the side of the garage door? If we pulled that at the same time, the door will
open.” The small captain pointed at the sides and Yuko saw how it works. There are two pulleys that are connected to the metal door.

“I’ll be the one to open it.” The small captain said. “But it looks like I’ll need a volunteer for the other one.”

Just at Takahashi said this, Tomomi pass right over to them. Listening in, she stopped in her tracks and turn to the small captain.

“I’ll do it.”

“Are you sure?” Yuko said, as she looks at the smiling Tomomi. “It’s really dangerous. We don’t know the other side of this door and you’ll be expose.”

Tomomi just nodded with a smile on her face. Thinking back, the girl is really a cheery one. It wasn’t only a character for show but her true personality. Takahashi really admires her for that. And right now, seeing how the world is messed up right now, she can’t help but admire Tomomi even more.

“Are you REALLY sure about this? Have you asked Tomochin about this?”

“Daijoubu, daijoubu. Tomo really wants to help.” Tomomi said. “Seeing everyone doing something to help, Sayaka fighting one of them , Miichan driving us, Ayaka giving us a place to stay, Mayu planning our move and especially you leading us and making those hard decision. I really want to do something.”

Hard decision. That phrase reminded the small captain about Amina. How she hasn’t have any choice. How just moments ago she last saw her. The real her.

“Are up for this? There are plenty things to do beside this.”

“Tomo can do this.”

----------

“Are we all set?”

“The mini bus is good to go.” Miichan gave a thumbs up.

“Good. How about the routes?”

“Our routes are ready.” Mayu said

“Good. I want you to stay by Miichan for directions. How about the supplies? Did you find anything useful?”

“We found some additional tools. The fire axe, crowbar, hammer, saw and we also found a first aid kit.” Yui said as she looks over her list.

“Wow, you’re really good at this. Yui, I want you to be in charge of the supplies. Write and organize everything. Can I count on you?”

“Hai.”

“Looks like everything’s set. Ok, here’s the plan. Before we open up the garage door, all of you girls will be in the bus. Since we can’t operate the remote switch,
me and Tomomi will manually open up the garage door. After that, we’ll run to the bus’ door and board in it. In case anything happen, I don’t want you to leave
this bus. Got it?”

As Takahashi was explaining the plan, Tomochin notice something. She took the arm of the girl next to her and quietly drags her a little away from the group.

“You’re not serious, are you?” Tomochin said in a low voice as to not distract everyone, but anger apparent in her tone.

“I can do it. Don’t you trust me?” The girl calmly shook away the hands off her. Hearing the girl’s question, Tomochin looks down to ground.

“Hey, look at me.” She took hold her chin, slowly turning her face so that she can clearly see Tomochin’s eyes. “Nothing bad is going to happen, ok”

“Tomomi….” Tomochin whispered her name before she can hear Takahashi’s voice shout.

“It’s time. Everyone on the bus. Tomomi, you’re with me.”

“Hai.” Tomomi hold the hand of the girl in front of her, directing her to the entrance of the bus. “Oh wait, I forgot about our bags. Let me get them.”

She jogged a few distance and took the two pink sports bag from the table. She held it to her shoulder and returned back.

“Make sure to save me a seat when I get back.” She hands the bags to Tomochin. She looks again to the girl’s face. Memorizing ever small detain about it. Her cute duck lips, her little fangs that shows and the best of all, those brown round eyes.

Tomochin got on board and as the door close, Takahashi approach Tomomi.

“One last question, are you really sure about this? If you want, I’ll find somebody for this.”

“How about you? You said that this is dangerous but why are you doing this?” Tomomi returned back the question.

“I want to protect everyone I love even it means risking my own life.”

“That’s my reason.” Tomomi said as she looks at the bus, but to be exact, she was looking at someone especial. “I’m doing this because I know that everyone will do the same.”

“Let’s do this?” Tomomi looks back again to the small captain.

“Hai.” The small captain took out a hammer and wrench from the table near them.

“Pick one, it will be our protection from what’s out there once we open that door.”

The girl set her eyes at wrench. “I’ll take this one.”

“Ok, you’ll get the chain at the right side because it’s close by at the bus’ door. You’ll have some time to get back to the bus. I’ll handle the left one.”

“But-“

“Don’t argue with me on this one.”

Tomomi can’t say something back, knowing that Takahashi will never switch places with her as this was her last resolve to protect her.

They position themselves at their respective places. Inside the bus, they sat in anticipation as they can see their fellow friends outside. Miichan holding down the wire and ready to start the engine. She glances at Takahashi, waiting for the signal to start.

The small captain took the chain in her hands, Tomomi mimicking her move. The three of them looks at each other.

Slowly, Takahashi raises her hands as she looks back at them again.

In a split second, she swiftly drops her hand and the two rapidly pulled down the chains and Miichan directly starts the engine.

The sudden pull on the metal garage door made a lot of noises combine with the engine roar. The moment the garage door is at its end, a sickening view unfolds to them.

A hoard of those things was fallen to them. Taking notice of the noise, they turn their attention to the noise and they start walking to the closest source, the girl on the right.

Without hesitating, Takahashi ran towards Tomomi but she was stopped by another three onto her. She strike down her hammer and hits the head of one of those things.

“Tomomi, RUN!!!” She screams as she strikes another blow to the head. With the last one, she kicked it down and she runs towards Tomomi.

Inside the bus, Sayaka stood up and took a bamboo stick. “I can’t take this anymore. Miichan open the door.”

“I’ll guard it.” Yuko took another bamboo stick. Sayaka jumps down and run down to Tomomi’s side with Takahashi.

The entire hoard was heading towards Tomomi and she tries her best to fight off. One after another, her swings are becoming weaker and weaker. And without
even realizing it, she was surrounded.

In a blink of an eye, something from her side took her shoulder and bit it. Her agonizing screams of pain was heard. Everyone inside the bus got up from their seat and saw the entire thing happen. Tomochin ran up to door but Yuko was blocking it.

“Everyone must be inside.”

“No, I can’t let her go!”

Takahashi and Sayaka attacked those at the back, fighting through their way to their friend.

“Let go of her you bastard! Attack me instead!” She strikes a galore of them but a whole new hoard came in.

“Go! Leave me here.” Tomomi shouted as she pounds the man who attacks her.

“NO! Sayaka, help me on this one.” The small captain said as she moves another step.

“I said GO! Sayaka, take her and everyone away from here.” The incoming hoard is closing in. The number increase gradually as Tomomi continue to knock them out. Fallen bodies one after another.

“I’m not going to leave you. Come on, we can still save her-“

The tall girl took her arm to stop her.

“Just go already. I’ll hold them off. That will buy you some time to get out.”

“That’s stupid. I won’t let you do that.”

“You understand me Sayaka? Take them out the hell out of here. NOW!”

“What! Let go off me. I can still save her. I can still get her out. Let go!” Takahashi struggle under Sayaka’s hold. She continues to stop her from dragging her
back to the bus.

“Let’s go Takamina.”

“NO!!! LET ME GO!!!”

It got me pretty bad.. I could tell from around in the middle of the chapter that something is going to happen to Tomo... T^T Poor Tomochin... If Tomo dies - she was bitten afterall - then our fashionista might blame Taka...

Ah, Sayaka so cool...she was really brave and wow, she now has Geki's umbrella  :nervous jokes aside, I am really touched by her inner strength..

Poor Takamina, having to carry all of it on her shoulders, trying to save everyone.. But we know it's not possible...

Yuko-sama, I wub u~ dun u dare to die on me T^T (I mean, I hope she survives this zombie madness  :panic: )

Takamina was choosing the left side to keep Tomomi safe but the opposite happened

And Tomo~mi is down now... she was infected... She would try to take down as many as she could before she was fully infected.

Tomochin is going to blame Takamina, I think

But would Tomochin push her way to Tomo~mi... to die with her...?

Or would she let Tomo~mi be the sacrifice....while the rest survive?

Takamina is going to blame herself for choosing the wrong side for Tomo~mi

I was thinking if Takamina and Tomo~mi were guarded then.. in stead of leaving it to Takamina and Tomo~mi trying to safe themselves...

If they have someone beside them then... would the outcome be different?

What's going to happen next?

Thank you for the update
