CHAPTER 7 : A shadow in the heart8pm. Minami's rooftopShe was sat in the big chair, a glass of vodka with redbull in her hand. Eyes in emptybess, she was there for an hour now, but it didn't matter. She didn't even move when Jurina sat in front of her.
« Everyone is asking for you downstairs... This view is really beautiful, I don't think anyone realize when they come here. But I do, it's beautiful everyday. »
« … Did you come here to told me to stop drinking ? Coz'... »
« No. I just wanted to spend a moment with you. And if you want to share your drink it's okay for me » smiled Jurina.
For the first time in the week, Minami smiled. She really like this girl, she was funny and really wise. The midget was hiding for a week now from everyone, and now she felt like she needed to talk to Juri.
« I quit my job » she sighed before drinking.
« When ? »
« Last week »
« You don't need money anymore ? »
« I do, but I'm not in a good mood those days and my boss was too kind and to oold, I can't take the risk to be nasty. »
« I see... How do you make money then ? »
« … I know someone, he said I could be paid to fight. But don't tell the others okay, I don't want them to have a bad model »
« No problem »
« You're thinking that I'm pathetic, right ? »
« No, not at all. You're having an hard time, and since you're helping us so much we can at least give you a break. The girl are just worried but they'll understand. Sayaka and I can take your responsability for a while, you can trust us » said Jurina with a serious face.
« Huh » smiled Minami kindly, « you are really mature for your age... »
« You're raising me, remember^^ »
« Seriously, I'm proud of you. I fell like I need you by my side those days. »
« No problem, I will drink Redbull only » she laughed.
« Right, but don't worry about me too much, you are interested in Rena, right ? »
« Yeah... » blushed the young girl. « But, I don't think it's gonna work... »
« Why ? »
« She's really nice girl but I feel like she's not for me, she's embarassed when we're together. This is silly, she deserves better. »
« … Listen, I've fall in love with Atsuko, and for a second I thought that it will be possible, that even if I was a little lost, I could give her what she needed. But I was wrong, it's too late for me. But you, you are a great kid, you have a good future and Rena is a nice girl. Be kind to her, treat her like she deserves and then it's all good. »
Jurina nodded and stood up.
« I'll take that advice, but I want to say something too. Thanks to you I'm better person, I'm good in school and I got mature. I don't think that makes you a bad person for Atsuko. Just saying... I will go now. »
« Hm, goodnight » whispered Minami before finishing her drink.
The alcohol was already warming her body, and her thought were non sense. She needed to fight really early in the morning, but she had planned to go to school on the afternoon.
What was the point of all this..., Honestly she had no clue, something had changed since that day. The night with Atsuko was beyond all that she could have imagine, but waking up alone was the worse.
Atsuko must have think that it was a huge mistake, be scared that she had to commit to her... And somehow it was like an epiphany, Minami wasn't a good person, and Atsuko was too wonderful for her.
For a wek now, the midget couldn't feel anything, she was feeling empty inside, and she just wanted to fight and wait. Wait for something to happen...
10am, at schoolJurina was sitting next to the window, looking at the empty schoolyard. She was thinking about her talk with Takamina yesterday.

2.20pm, history classThe teacher was talking about the current government when Minami opened the door. Atsuko looked at her, her heart suddenly beat so fast. The short girl had bruises on her face and looked absent.
« Takahashi-san, you're late. »
« No kidding... » she sighed without looking at him.
She sat at her table and look by the window. Atsuko couldn't focus on the lesson anymore, she was dying to look behind and see what Minami was doing.
7pm, Minami's flat« Rino, finish your essay before playing PS3 ! » said Sayaka while washing the vegetables.
« Hai ! Can Rie help me ? »
« Only if you work girls »
« Sure^^ »
Minami was preparing the ingredients for the pizza next to her.
« Could you make sure Yuko do the dishes after please »
« Okay, you're not eating with us ? »
« No, I'm not hungry. Take that, I have no time to buy food » said the captain giving Sayaka 14 000 yens in cash.
« Do I need to be worried ? » frowned Sayaka taking the money.
« I'm begging not to »
« Okay »
« Thank you. But call me if you need something okay ? I'm still here for you guys. »
« Sure. Take care. »
« What are we doing for the contest ? » asked Miichan sitting next to Yuko.
« What do you mean ? »
« You know, Takamina is always absent, and it's her who leads us so... »
« Well, I guess we'll be training with the others, and, wait and see... I'll lead for now if it's okay with you. »
« Alright, I will continue the costumes with Mariko »
7.30pm, in a coffee« Atsuko, do you want to shop with me tomorrow afternoon ? »
« I don't know Rena, I'm not feeling well... »
« Please, you have to help me find something for tomorrow night. »
« What's happening tomorrow night ? »
« Jurina is doing a live performance with Takahashi-san in a bar. She invited me » blushed Rena.
Atsuko frowned.
« Minami is singing in a bar with Jurina ? »
« Yes » she smiled.
« Why would she do that... ? » asked Atsuko, more for herself.
« I don't know, but I want to go ! Oh Acchan, come with me ! »
« What ? No ! »
« Why not ? Don't tell me you didn't like Takahashi's voice »
« Are you aware of what happened between her and I ? »
« Yes, but it's just a concert, and this situation is silly. Come, with someone if you want. »
Atsuko thought about it, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all. This dumb midget was acting non sense, and she needed to know it.
« You're right. I'll come »
« Great. Now, will you come with me, to shop ? »
« Okay... »
