well, I don't think so...if we look back to s1 --this season more or less have similiarity with s1-- maeda's part was longer than sakura...

sakura's path was just : hinabe -> kamisori-zombie -> shitenou (yoga, bakamono, magic)

while maeda's path : hormone -> kabuki -> gakuran -> sanshou -> choukoku -> shitenou

I don't mind if they lenthen it to the end with those 2, and any others. But I really hope they don't cut off the Sakura vs Otabe fight.
I was hoping Otabe to have some vs action in MG2 and was totally disappointed. And with the happenings of ep6, the chances of it happening again in MG4 just rose way up.

Don't make Otabe only fight some random losers on the last episode again...

using s1 as guideline, I guess sakura vs otabe would be on ep7...remember maeda vs sado? their battle was also delayed because of an interuption from yabakune

I guess, she's really suited for that role as Majijo's Top.

Sakura:
"I don't need underlings!"

But Sakura has already noticed that these two girls are no longer
the mouthy girls who fight with no goal in mind, who aren't serious
about anything....

While sakura was restricted unfairly by a Magic Trick against
A very difficult opponent, Zombie and Kamisori rush in to assist the
girl who urged them to get serious about something, anything, rather
than wasting their potential.

Sakura said leave, you have no chance! But the two first year students
believed in a fair fight, despite taking a multitude of blows and kicks that would soon
be life threatening if something didn't happen to change this battle scene.

Sakura stared at the two young underling wannabes, and she wasn't
Trying to get them to leave because they were bothering her, she was trying to
protect them out of respect for their bravery.

And Magic made the mistake that would cost her the fight and more-
she made fun of girls that she was soundly defeating, belittling them as
Not being serious enough to worry about.

Sakura called Magic on her lack of respect shown to the two young battlers,
And knew that she must make a super human effort to get free and to take out
Magic. This time her motivation was not to take out the Queens to get to Salt,
This time it was about protecting her comrades' lives and honor, because they deserved
the respect that their bravery earned them.

A really fine scene, thanks to all of the actresses and script writers!!!
