First of all, I'm sorry for updating so late

Being a university freshman it's hectic. But at last, chapter 2 is here.

@atsukojiyuu_C: About the purple vortex thing... let's just say neither of them did it. The truth will be revealed in much later chapters.
@lossc: Well, at least Takamina can feel less sensitive about her height now
@River1721: If I was Paru at that time, I'd definitely think so too. Would you?

Demonbound.
Chapter 2.
It seemed that Paru’s ‘parents’ had already forseen her awakening. Because in the next morning, when she was checking her homework with her friends, the homeroom teacher – Takahashi-sensei – walked in with an announcement to make.
“Class, we have a new student joining us from today.” The short teacher announced. “Please welcome her.”
Then the new student aka Paru’s newly acquired Disciple walked in.
“If you mix milk with Miyuki, just like that, it’s Milky.” The demon smiled brightly at the crowd of strangers. “I’m Watanabe Miyuki, nice to meet you.” She completed with a bow
All of the boys (and some of the girls) in the class blushed at the cute newbie and her adorable self-introduction.
“Okay, thank you for such a nice self-intro. Now, about your seat…” Takahashi-sensei cleared her throat, getting the class’ attention.
“Can I seat next to that salty-faced girl?” Miyuki asked sweetly, pointing at Haruka’s direction. “Please?” she batted an eye at the teacher
“…alright, I guess. Nobody wants to seat there anyway.” Even the sensei blushed a bit. Satisfied, the demon sauntered to her apponited seat, much to the surprise of her new classmates. They simply couldn’t understand why would such a cute girl want to sit next to Shimazaki “Salty” Haruka.
“Woah, how did you do that?” Paruru asked.
“Do what?” Milky asked innocently.
“You persuaded Takahashi-sensei to let you choose your seat. By interrupting her no less.” Paru explained. “Takahashi-sensei is very strict, so much that there’s a rumor that she is a dragon in disguise” (A/N: Octodad reference lol)
“It’s my special ‘tsuri’ technique.” Milky said proudly. And dodged a bullet zooming by (which was, by the way, a piece of chalk).
“Shimazaki, Watanabe, I’m glad you two can quickly open up to each other, but can you please refrain from talking until break? I know you don’t want to listen to my lecture, but I’d appreciate you keeping quiet in class for the sake of other students.” Takahashi-sensei scolded sternly, holding another piece of chalk in her hand. “If you want to talk that badly, however, you can go outside right now.”
“Gomenasai, sensei.” They both said guiltily.
After 5 agnonizing classes, finally it was lunch time. As expected, a bunch of guys surrounded Haruka’s table to invite Miyuki over to their table and away from the huge pile of salt. Annoyed that these ignorant brats were trash-talking her Summoner, the demon raised her voice.
“Excuse me!” she said, standing up. “Paruru and I are cousins. If I ever hear anyone of you calling her names anymore, don’t think of asking me any question!” Milky’s attitude made the boys backed away in defeat
But Paru pulled her down and said: “Calm down, Miyuki! Just let them be.”
“But, Paruru, they are insulting you! I can’t allow those lowlife… things dishonor my Summoner like that.” The demon pouted.
“Nah, I’m used to it. They’re just big kids anyway.”
“This is a short announcement from the Broadcasting club: Shimazaki Haruka-san and Watanabe Miyuki-san, please report to the Student Council. I repeat, Shimazaki Haruka-san and Watanabe Miyuki-san, please report to the Student Council room.”
Paruru sighed. This could only mean one thing…
She would not have enough time to drop by the combini to stock up on her salty snacks. And melonpan.
The Student Council room was fairly empty dark, like in typical Japanese school ghost story. There was nobody there, except for a girl working on a pile of paperwork at the wooden desk in the middle of the room. Other than her, there was no other signs of life.
Hearing footsteps coming near, the girl looked up from whatever she was working on, and stood up.
“Well, I’m Yokoyama Yui, Student Council President, but you can call me Yuihan. And also the one who called you girls to be up here after school. I hope that this short meeting will not take too much of your time.”
“Why do you want to see us?” Paru asked.
“You see, as the Vice-president of the school secret Demonbound community, I want to give my welcome to a new Summoner and her Disciple.” Yuihan said. “It’s a tradition.”
“How do you know about it?” Milky asked, suspicious.
“Principal Akimoto. He is responsible for all of demon-related business in this school.” Said a girl with short black hair and a prominent chin, coming out from the dark. If it wasn’t for the girls’ uniform she was wearing and her very awesome “assets”, one could have mistaken her for a guy. “Yamamoto Sayaka, yoroshiku onegaishimasu.”
At the first look, Milky could see that Sayaka was a demon – to be exact, she was Yui’s Disciple. The fisher-demon could not help but notice that the other demon was extremely handsome for a girl. When their eyes met, Milky looked away, blushing.
‘What is happening?’ Milky thought.
‘Why am I blushing like this? No, Watanabe Miyuki, for your family ‘tsuri’ tradition, toughen up!’ She totally missed the very quick blush of the handsome demon.
“I want to talk to you today about Maji High’s secret community.” Yui said. “Joining or not, it’s your choice. We still protect our kinds inside and outside this school perimeter. If you join, however, you’ll get special training with senior Demonbounds.”
“The community has existed for 20 or more years, mostly to keep the secrets of our kind.” Sayaka said. “Also it provides orientations for inexperienced ones.”
Suddenly, an alarm went of, and the room was basked in the red flashing light of an emergency signal. As quick as a lightning, Yui jumped at the ancient telephone sitting innocently on her desk.
“What’s the situation?” the Student Council President asked.
“Yokoyama-san, we’re under a siege.” The other side replied. “A few minutes ago, about 24 Paladins had enntered the school.”
