I walked back into the house and knocked on the door.

We all walked in, I look around at the dark, dismal setting of the castle. It was a lot different from what I thought…

“Mayu.” Miyuki held both of my shoulders and looked at me. “You’ll see.”

“Hey, where are ya, Black?!”
“C’mon, let’s see your pweety face~”
My ear twitched as I heard footsteps.
“Mayu...”
I turned and saw a young man coming down the stairs. He was beautiful, with snow white skin and night black hair.
“Are you..?”
“Oi, there’s the Dark Prince.”
“Hisashiburi~”
“You been good, Yuki?”
He was silent, looking away from them.
“That’s none of your business.”
“Look. It’s Mayuyu~”
“You remember her, right?”
He looked at me. His eyes looked so sad…
“I would prefer it if you didn’t mention her name right now...”
“Why are you so cold~?”
“Ah, I know,” Miyuki giggled. “C’mon, guys. Let’s give these two some alone time~”

Then, they left.

He suddenly came up and pinned me to the wall. I felt his fingers pull down my shirt and revealed my birthmark.

“Mayu!” He teleported in front of me, his hand slamming against the wall.

When did he erase my memory? We met before..? Something in my mind… it feels.. weird. Did I really meet this guy before?

I closed my eyes as more pain hit me. I felt his hand holding the back of my head as he pulled me close and kissed me.

I then felt pain everywhere. Now I know the spirit of the Dark Mage is truly calling me.

Mayu wiped her tears and kissed me one last time.
“I promise I’ll come back for you.”
I watched her leave me before my world went black…
