Boy, have I got a lot of work ahead of me at the end of the year, so many new artists to get into!!

Just found out about a K-Indie band called Dear Cloud. The fact that I'm not used to seeing Korean groups with both males and females makes me instantly instantly, but I guess it's not like all of them sing. They apparently last released music a year and 8 months ago and are now making a comeback with their 'Take the Air' EP.

The tracklist:

MC Mong got into trouble

Singer and TV-show host MC Mong, 31, was booked without physical detention Monday on suspicion that he had healthy teeth extracted to dodge mandatory military service, police said, Friday.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said MC Mong whose real name is Shin Dong-hyun intentionally delayed entering the army by making various “false” excuses and intentionally had three of his healthy teeth pulled out to receive assessment grades in physical checkups low enough to be exempted from fulfilling his military duty.

Police said he had delayed being conscripted for 422 days since 2004 when he first received the conscription notice. The popular entertainer was found healthy enough for active duty as a soldier after his first physical checkup in August 1998.

Police will refer the entertainer to the prosecution on charges of violation of the military service law. The president of the agency representing MC Mong and a broker who helped arrange MC Mong’s draft dodging were also booked.

MC Mong has denied the draft dodging allegations. Before the issue surfaced, the popular entertainer appeared in “1 Night 2 Days” on KBS and the “Haha Mong Show” on SBS.

Okay, this is just driving me fucking nuts. Is it just me or is Kim Jong Kook's Sarang Surowo/You're Loveable a remake of a song?

I could have SWORN that I've heard that melody before. And no, it's not S Club 7's Reach for the Stars or ManoEri's Sekai Wa Summer Party.

Similarly, Roora's 3!4!(which SNSD also covered once) is setting off my "I've heard this before" alarms.

For this one though, I've kind of accepted that it might be just my brain mashing together various themes from Kara's Honey and S Club 8's One Step Closer.
