"Uhhh... Leave me alone..."
"My name is Risako, you can call me Risa-chan!"

"Why not? We are schoolmates~"
"You're not even my classmate and I don't know you, so stop talking to me because I hate people like you!"
"W-Wait! Where are you going?"
"None of your business!"

"Come on, it's been a week already, why can't you tell me your name at least?"
"Why are you always coming to me? Don't you have friends?"
"I don't."
"Eh? What about your classmates?"
"They don't like me."
"Are you not... sad?"
"Nope, because I only want to be friends with you. Can I~?"
"You are annoying..."
"'Annoying'? What's that?"
"You... don't know the word 'annoying'?"

"Hehe~ Let me introduce myself again. My name is Risako, you can call me Risa-chan!"
"My name is... Mei. Call me whatever you want..."
"Nice name! Mei-chan it is, then~ So, friends?"
"Friends, I guess..."
...[Mei's POV]My eyes suddenly opened after the sort-of random flashback dream. Never has this happened before, and like I said, it was pretty random. First of all, why am I suddenly dreaming about my past? Secondly, why even those particular moments? It happened way back when I was a 4th grader in elementary school and for me to be suddenly remembering all that moment was really out of the blue.
I shrugged it off and headed to the bathroom, thinking it was nothing but a normal dream. As usual, or rather it has become my recent daily routine, I would brush my teeth, give a good wash to my face, quickly put my uniform on and head out towards my girlfriend, Kanon's house.
"Good morning, Meimei~ You're early today."
"Yeah, I kind of woke up earlier... Let's go."
"Un... but Meimei, I'm quite cold so ummm, can we hold hands?"
"Sure. Here you go."
"Thanks~ It's really warm~"
It was mid-October, indicating that winter would be coming soon as the temperature steadily decreases day by day. October also meant that it has been around 3 months since Kanon and I started dating. Well, I wouldn't say we didn't progress much since the time I... kissed her, but we have not went to that extent if you know what I mean.
Then again, I can't believe that I actually fell in love with her at first sight. That feeling was the most amazing thing I ever felt, it was new, it was weird but it was great.
"Meimei, are you even listening?"
"S-Sorry, what were you saying?"
"Mou, Ami and Kumachan always scold me for daydreaming, now it's your turn to daydream?"
"Sorry, I didn't meant to... So what was it again?"
"I said, I made lunch for you today!"
"Eh, but Risako-san is going to bring one for me... Did I not tell you?"
"Goto-san is? Eh, you... didn' t tell me..."
"Ah, I'm sorry, I guess I really forgotten... Sorry..."
"I woke up early for nothing then..." Kanon pouted when she said that, and I couldn't resist. She was too cute, too cute for me to ignore. Her voice sound too sad, and one thing for sure, I never want to see my girlfriend sad.
"I get it, I get it! I'll eat yours, alright?"
"Really?"
"Yup, so please put on a smile for me."
"Thank you, Meimei~ I really love you!"
"Yeah, yeah. Hurry up or we might be late!"
I thought to myself I would try to eat both Kanon's and Risako-san's lunch later as I made my way to school.
[End of Mei's POV]

The school bell rang as it was already time for lunch and all the students started to bring out their lunch boxes and meet up with their friends. Like always, Mei and Kanon made their way to the garden to have a more peaceful and private lunch since many students don't pass by there often.
"You haven't been having lunch with your two best friends recently right? Don't you want to hang out with them or something?" Mei broke the silence after they settled down on a bench.
"Well, they're understanding and don't mind me eating with you. Of course once in a while I'll eat with them instead."
"That's true, but you know... I do want to eat with Risako-san too once in a while. Haven't done that for quite some time already."
"Ah, Goto-san, eh? Y-Yeah sure then..."
"Alright, and gosh! I forgotten to take the lunchbox from her! I guess I'll go get it now."
"No!" Kanon held her girlfriends' arm tightly, "You don't have to."
"Kanon?"
"I-I mean, she would surely understand... so there's no need for you to worry. Besides, how are you going to finish all the food?"
"Well... You're right. I'll just tell her later."
"Yup, so for now, just eat mine alright?"
"Say, Kanon. Are you by chance... jealous?"
"W-What's with the sudden question? I-I'm not..." Kanon looked away, trying to escape from Mei's gaze.
"Then I want you to look into my eyes and say that you're not jealous."
"E-Eh...?"
"You can't, can you?" Mei put her chopsticks down and lifted Kanon's chin, bring her face closer to her own.
"M-Meimei.. I--"
"I promise you, Kanon. I will never leave you. No one will ever take me away from you, so please, rest assured. You don't have to be jealous of anything, at all."
Kanon couldn't avert her eyes away as if they were locked into Mei's stare.
"I'm saying this right from my heart. So, please trust me, Kanon. I love you so much..."
"M-Mou... Stop that, it's embarrassing... I-I get it, I won't think of any stupid things again..."
Mei only patted Kanon's head and didn't say a word, partially because she was embarrassed by her own statement and also because she didn't want to make the situation more awkward.
"Don't treat me like a kid! I may be shorter than you, but I'm technically older than you, you know!"
"Being older by only a few months doesn't count! Mou, let's just eat!"
Meanwhile...
"Looks like Goto-san's all by herself again today..."
"Yeah, what a sore loser."
"Miyamae!"
"What? I'm sure what I said is true!"
"You're just being too mean!"
"If that's the case, Kumachan, why don't you sit with her then?"
"No thank you... She just have a really weird aura, I can't stand it..."
"Who's the mean one now? You or me?"
"Still you! I only called her weird, you said something even meaner!"
"Oh yeah?!"
The two started their usual arguments, this time seeing who was more meaner than the other. On the other hand, Risako was at her seat with two lunchboxes on her table. They were left untouched which meant Risako didn't even have hers opened. She merely stared at the pink and yellow boxes with her what others call it "innocent-but-looking-for-attention" face.
"Hey, Gori! Hand in your homework." The math rep approached Risako but she didn't respond.
"Oi, Gori! I'm calling you!"
Again, no answer.
"Goto Risako, I am talking to you!" The math rep raised her voice even more than the first time.
"Oh, hi. What do you want?"
"Are you deaf? I am asking for your homework! Geez!"
"Sorry, I thought you were talking to Gori. I wonder who's Gori~" Risako grinned as she passed her homework to the math rep.
"You're such a weirdo! I still don't get why Sakai-san is still friends with you!"
"Hmm? Why not?"
"Oh wait, let me take that back. You're so weird that Sakai-san doesn't want to be your friend anymore!"
Risako's face changed as she slightly frowned, "Look, Mei-chan and I are still frie--"
*BANG!*The math rep hit the table with the stack of homework she collected from the class.
"Listen here! Your dear little Mei-chan doesn't need you anymore! She has Kanon and don't you EVER dare to interfere their relationship! Understand?!" With that, the math rep stormed out of the classroom and made her way to the teachers' office.
Ami and Kumachan were listening to the conversation from the far end of the class, looking at each other with a slightly worried face upon hearing the math rep's harsh words.
"The math rep took it too far, right Kumachan?"
"Yeah... I wonder if Goto-san is alright?"
"Well... It's not really my business I guess. I need to finish this homework fast!!!"
"Yeah yeah..."
...
"It hurts! Stop hitting me..."
"Then give me all your money, you rich kid!"
"I gave you everything... I have nothing now!"
"Lies!"
"Ouch! It hurts!!! Please... stop..."
"You over there! What are you doing to Mei-chan?"
"Huh? Who are you?!"
"You don't need to know who I am but tell me, why are you hitting her? Are you a bully?"
"Shut up, I only asked her for money but she refused to give me! So she deserves it!"
"Oh I see, you want money. Here, take this then."
"1-1-1-10000 YEN!?"
"Yeah, so if you want more next time, ask me, not Mei-chan. Or else..."
"I-I-I get it! I'm so sorry!!!!!!"
"Hahaha! He ran away! Mei-chan are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah... *sobs* T-Thank you..."
"There, there... Don't cry anymore~ You look cuter if you smile~"
"*sobs* Thank you... Risako-san..."
"'Risako-san?' Don't call me that~ We're friends, right?"
"W-We're friends but... *sobs* You're... my saviour..."
"I don't understand, but okay then~ Call me anything you want, as long as we're friends~"
"Un..."
...[Mei's POV]I was woken up once again after having a very random dream about my past. I honestly have no idea why this was happening, but it wasn't as if it bothered me too much. In fact, I was somehow glad that these memories came back to me even if it was so sudden and so random.
I was such a crybaby back then, and everyone seemed to make fun of me for no reason, but after that incident, nobody dared to even tease me. To this very day, I still don't know how Risako-san managed to scare the bully away. Well, there some rumors that Risako-san had this very strange aura around her but I never felt anything.
It was also because of this incident, I started to see her in a different light. The only thing I thought about her was an annoying brat who just loves to disturb my life, but she helped me so many times, that I felt it was so wrong to put her on the same level as me. I guess that's why I started calling her with such formalities and the habit wouldn't go away even up till now.
Anyways, now that I had such a dream, I couldn't go back to sleep. My eyes felt a bit too fresh and my mind was fully awake even though it was... 3 A.M.
"I guess I shall read a manga..."
...
"Alright, I'm going to take your attendance now."
Home room has just started and I was already feeling tired. Sleepy to be exact. I thought to myself I shouldn't have read the manga till morning and should force myself to sleep. Now I'm so tempted to fall into a deep slumber.
"I regret this so much..." I thought.
"Oh? Goto isn't here today. Anyone knows what happened to her?"
My sleepiness was immediately gone when I heard what my teacher said. I just realized there isn't anyone in Risako-san's seat. I looked around the class and no one seemed to have an answer to the teacher's question, not even me.
That's strange... She didn't tell me anything...
"Alright, since no one knows anything, I'll just contact her parents then."
"Meimei, are you alright?" Kanon tapped on my shoulder and looked a little worried, probably because I myself was giving a worried look.
"I'm worried..."
"Maybe she fell sick or something?"
"But if she did, she would have called?"
"Meimei, does she need to tell you every single thing that happens to her?"
"W-Well, not exactly, but--"
"So don't worry too much, okay? Just try to give her a call later."
"Yeah..."
"The study session at your house will still be on, right?"
"Yup... Kanon, don't tell me you're--"
"Okay, everyone! Get back to your seats and take out your textbooks!" The science teacher interrupted my sentence.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing, I'll tell you later."
I finally realized something about Kanon: She wasn't just a jealous type of person. She seemed to have some... hatred towards Risako-san, and it was something I couldn't understand at that point of time. What I thought was that Risako-san and I are close friends so it's normal to be worried for each other.
And, yeah, talking about Risako-san, I couldn't stop thinking about her throughout the entire day at school...

[Kanon's POV]"Woah, Mei -chan! Your house is REALLY big!!!"
"It's nothing much, Ami-san. Please make yourself at home. I'll serve some tea."
Meimei invited Ami, Kumachan and I for a study session at her house. Well, we are indeed, at the end of the day, a bunch of students cramming for exams. I needed so much help especially since I wasted my time paying attention to Meimei's serious look whenever she was paying attention in class. So cute~!
"You have so many PS4 games! So cool!!!"
"Miyamae, don't get yourself distracted... Remember why we're here!"
"I guess we can play for a while after we're done studying. It's good to take a break after using our brains."
"Yay~ I love you Mei-chan~" Ami suddenly hugged MY Meimei and I was taken aback. However, I think Ami caught me staring at them intensely so she immediately let go of Meimei.
"Oops! Sorry Kanon~"
"E-Eh? It's alright..."
I think I let out too much aura of jealousy... I don't know what's wrong with me. It was just a simple friendship hug and a joking "I love you", yet it got me a little mad for no reason.
"Yosh! Let's start our study session now!"
I was about to take a seat on the chair when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Mei-sama, you have a phone call."
"Ah. You guys can start studying first. I'll go get the door."
I opened my book, thinking it was just a phone call from Meimei's parents as I started doing some Math problems. Despite that I could still see Meimei standing in front of the door with her butler from the corner of my eye to make sure everything was alright. Meh. I guess I am quite a protective girlfriend.
I saw Meimei frowning as if she heard a bad news over the phone. She was speaking quite softly but I could tell she murmured a "What happened to her?". I knew something was wrong, and I had a feeling I know who was involved.
Moments later, Meimei came back to the study table, "Sorry guys, I need to head somewhere. You three can still continue to study."
"Where are you going, Meimei?"
She looked hesitant to answer me, "Hospital. I heard Risako-san's admitted."
"There you go again. 'Risako-san here, Risako-san there'. I have enough."
I felt as if my switch was flipped. I couldn't stand hearing that name anymore. Jealousy and hatred filled my entire body and I could feel my heart racing in anger.
"K-Kanon?"
"What!?"
"I knew it... Even you too, Kanon..." Meimei walked out of the room.
I didn't bother to chase after her or apologize. I was so... agitated, with a lot of things. At that point of time, I wasn't sure if I was angry because of Meimei or myself. My heart was still burning with jealousy and I couldn't calm down.
"Kanon... I think you should go home, and chill."
"Miyamae's right. You need to cool down your anger, and make sure you apologize to Mei-san, alright? We'll make our move first."
"Yeah... Sorry for making you two witness me like this..."
"It's okay, Kanon. If you need any help, Miyamae and I are here for you." I felt a light pat on my back Kumachan gave me and it was there and then I felt like breaking down.
I guess my love for Meimei is too strong that I got too jealous (and too easily as well) whenever there is a potential third party...
Maybe I should go home... or maybe not?

[End of Kanon's POV]...
"Oh? What are you trying to do, fellow student?"
"..."
"Ahhhh~ I got ignored! Matsui Jurina, the most popular kid in school just got ignored but a random student who intends to... end her life here."
"..."
"I see, so you're not going to say anything. Okay, that's fine, but really, you're gonna jump?"
"..."
"You know what? Let me introduce myself. My name is Matsui Jurina. How about you?"
"You're persistent."
"FINALLY I got you to talk. Phew, that took longer than I thought!"
"What do you want from me?"
"I just want to... flirt. That's all. You look cute~"
"Right... Just leave me... alone..."
"As if I can! I won't let you jump down!"
"I'm not jumping... J-just... g-go... away..."
"What's up? You look... kinda pale..."
"I'm... fine..."*thud*"Ahhh!!! Cute student-chan don't faint!!!"
"..."
"Hey! Wake up! Wake up!!!"

"Risako-san?"
"Uhhh..."
"You're awake! Thank goodness!"
"M-Mei-chan...? Where... am I?"
"Hospital. What happened to you???"
Instead of answering Mei's question, Risako looked around at her surrounding as if she was lost in some stranded island. She tried to get up but the pain she felt on her head was too heavy that she started to scream.
" Are you hurt anywhere? Should I call the doctor???"
The girl who was in great pain couldn't even respond to Mei so the latter decided to call for help outside, but she was stopped by a pair of cold hands.
"Risako-san?"
"Don't... leave me..."
"But--"
"I'm fine... Just... stay here..."
"Okay..." Mei went back to the seat and held Risako's hands tightly, "I heard you fainted this morning."
"Yeah..."
"And?"
"And what...?"
"Explain! I mean, you can't be suddenly fainting without a reason, right?"
The grip on Risako's hand became tighter, "You're... hurting me, you know?"
"Oh. Sorry... I'll let go."
"Thanks... Can you let me rest for a while? I'll... tell you later."
Mei gave in as she watched her best friend close her eyes. Before she knew it, Mei too was taking a nap before she was disturbed by the loud sound of the door opening.
"Meimei!"
"K-Kanon?! W-What are you doing here?"
"I... want to apologize to you, for earlier..."
"Ah... no, I-I'm sorry too... Come in."
"Can I...?" Kanon was still standing at the door, hesitant to enter.
"Sure--"
"NO." A stern voice was heard and it belong to none other the person who was asleep moments ago.
"Risako-san? You're awake???"
"You... can't go in. Besides... what are you doing here...?"
"I-I just want to--"
"Mei-chan, bring her out." Risako's sleepy expression suddenly changed.
Instead of bringing her lover out, Mei rebutted, "Risako-san, I know you're not feeling well, but I don't think you should chase her out..."
Risako started laughing but the manner was really unusual that it brought shock to the other two girls.
"I-I don't understand you, Risako-san. I'm pretty sure I didn't said anything funny."
Risako continued laughing like a maniac she never was. It was as if Mei flipped her best friend's switch that was never touched.
"R-Risako-san?"
Finally, Risako calmed down, but the next moment, she gave a serious look towards the petite girl who was still standing by the ward door.
"Kanon-san, don't you think... Mei-chan has been neglecting me these days?"
"What makes you think so?"
"Hmmm? Why don't you make a guess?"
"Risako-san, what kind of question--" Mei didn't get to finish her sentence.
"Shut up. I'm not asking you."
Kanon was taken aback by the other girl's behavior towards Mei, "Is it... because of me?"
"Of course... I hate you! I hate you so much for taking Mei-chan away from me!" Risako nearly teared up but held back as she grab the bed sheets in frustration.
"Risako-san what are you talking about? What do you mean by Kanon taking me away from you?"
"H-How could you... not know...?" Tears started to form on Risako's eyes and her voice cracked.
"I don't know! Can you not create a scene in the hospital like that?" Mei grew furious.
"Meimei don't raise your voice at her... I think I know what she meant. You're either too dense or just pretending not to know."
"Kanon... I-I'm sorry that you have to face all this. I... I don't know what's wrong with her."
"There's nothing wrong with me!!!" Risako started shouting again, "You're the one with the problem, siding your lover like that!"
"I'm not siding anybody! I just want to know why you're suddenly like this!"
"You want to know? Fine, I'll say it then!"
"Go on!"
"I love you Mei-chan! I love you ever since we met back in 4th grade... But you... you don't know anything! You refuse to see me as someone more than a friend!"
Mei was more disconcerted and tried to utter a few words but her voice couldn't come out. Kanon on the hand, knew it would turn out this way. She had already suspected the other girl's feelings towards Mei.
"Remember back then when I first approached you...? I had an extremely weird feeling whenever I saw you... but I never thought that it was actually... love at first sight!"
"When you pushed me away that time, I thought you were the same as everyone else who thought I was weird," Risako continued, "but I didn't give up since I wanted to know you more... and I was glad that you were actually different from the rest... and that's why I love you even more than before!"
"And now that you have her, I'm no longer at your sight... It seems like there's only her in your mind... and I had enough of that."
"Risako-san, I-"
"I can't get rid of my feelings even if you ask me to try... so I guess there's only one way... I... will get away from your life."
"I-I... I'm sorry that I didn't know... but you don't have to do all that! You're so important to me, how can I forget you so easily?" Mei tried to reach out to Risako's hand but the latter pushed away, "D-Don’t touch me right now... Who knows what I can do if you do that..."
Kanon could only stood awkwardly looking at the messy situation and thought,
"What should I do? Isn't this all my fault?""The last thing that I want is for you to leave me... Please don't do that Risako-san..."
"Sorry... if you stay here any longer, I'll go crazy. I don't want to ruin your life so, that's the only way."
"Risako-san... I-I'm sorry..."
"No, I'm sorry, Mei-chan... So the two of you, please leave..."
...
That was the last time anyone saw Goto Risako. She went missing from the hospital the next day and didn't come home. Even after reporting the matter to the police, the search for her were only failures.
Mei could only regret not doing anything for her best friend that very evening. She never thought Risako would go to such extent as to go missing from everyone. She couldn't blame anymore but herself, and ever since that day, she wasn't being herself anymore, and even Kanon didn't know what to do.

2 months has past and almost everyone in the class seemed to have forgotten about the missing student. Mei was never herself again, and her relationship with Kanon was unstable.
It was lunch break, where Mei would disappear to God knows where. It was a routine she did ever since the day her best friend was gone.
Kanon kept staring at the window, looking at sky as snow fell to the ground.
"Kanon, let's eat!" Ami approached the daydreaming girl and as per usual, the latter failed to snap back to reality, more like she refused to.
"Just leave her be, Miyamae." Kumachan added, "She needs time."
"I know, but for how long is she going to be like this? She's been ignoring us, her good friends!" Ami turned serious, "Kanon, I don't know why you're suddenly being like this, but if you're having a problem with Mei-chan, why don't you find her now instead of wasting your time???"
"Miyamae, you don't have to say it like that--"
"You're right..." Kanon finally spoke.
"Of course I am! You're a good friend of mine, so seeing you at this state bothers me a lot."
"Sorry, Ami-chan, Kumachan... I'll search for Meimei now."
"Good luck!" Kanon's two friends said in unison.

[Kanon's POV]I've been so bothered by what happened that evening, and I know Meimei felt the same way. She and I became so distance because of that, but it was not as if we broke up or anything.
I've been using my time alone to think of what to do to help Meimei, and I hoped Meimei's been doing the same thing.
I thought it was already time to confront her, to make things right.
I want to protect my relationship, I want to protect Sakai Mei...
Meimei, where are you...?
I thought hard of the possible places she could be in the school, especially since it was snowing heavily but as I expected, the only place she could be is at the garden's bench that we usually sat.
Meimei was there but she sat on the ground while leaning on the bench and curled up. I never saw Meimei like that before, and I never want to see her in this state again. It made me so depressed that I had to fix our relationship then and there.
"Meimei...?"
"K-Kanon... Ah, sorry for making you see me like this..."
I wanted to cry when I saw Meimei's puffy and red eyes, but I had to "man up" since I wanted to give her strength. I sat next to her and gave her a pet just like how I did during the incident when Mei was scared of thunder.
"Meimei, I just want to tell you that... things happen for a reason, and sometimes it's not good to blame ourselves for it..."
"Kanon... I... I don't know... if it was my fault... I-I.. I'm so confused, and I... just want to her see so... badly... We need to find her, Kanon... I don't want... anything to happen to her..."
"I know... We'll continue searching for her until we find her, alright? It's just that... I don't want you to keep your feelings to yourself. You have me, right?"
Meimei suddenly hugged me and brought me to surprise. My heart was beating really fast even though it was totally not the right timing to be feeling 'doki doki'... She buried her head on my chest and I could feel my blushing intensified. Gosh! I would definitely be caught since Meimei could feel my pulse.
I let her be in that position although I was suffering from trying to calm myself down from spazzing over how cute Meimei was when she made herself weak. I mean, it's not a good thing for her to be like that, but I was also glad since I felt so needed.
"Kanon... I'm sorry... for neglecting you..." Meimei finally let go of me but she was still weeping like a little child.
"It's alright, Meimei... You needed time and space, so I let it be. But from now on, I won't leave you alone..."
"T-Thank you... I'm such a bad girlfriend..."
"You're not, I'm the bad one for leaving you alone for so long! Now I just want us to be together again... So, no more crying okay?"
I wiped the remaining tears Meimei had on her face and cupped her cheeks. She looked so cute even after crying. I mean, everyone would look horrible after ugly-crying, but not Meimei, at least to me that is.
My body subconsciously leaned forward up till the point where our noses were touching each other. I noticed Meimei's cheeks turning pink and she looked a little uncomfortable.
"A-Ah, sorry Meimei..." I was about to shift my position but Meimei held my hands.
"D-Don't move..." and she made her move towards my lips.
I felt her soft lips meeting mine and that was enough to make my mind go blank. She smelled really great, like a flower, and it made me even dizzier.
Our first kiss was really unfair because I was half-asleep when Meimei suddenly gave me a peck, but this time the feeling was different. It was indescribable.
"W-Wha-a-a--" I couldn't even speak properly even after Meimei moved away.
"It's a... thank you kiss, I guess..."
"A-Again." What was I thinking when I said that!?
"What...?"
"I said... again..."
I let out my honest feeling. I wanted it, I really do. I couldn't hide my true feelings anymore.
"B-B-But--"
"Mou!!!" I made the move first this time.
I pressed my lips against hers gently and once again, my mind went blank. The whole sensation was more different than the previous kiss because I think I started it first.
My hands moved on their own and wrapped around Meimei's waist as I deepened the kiss. Not long enough, the atmosphere felt really hot and I began to feel a little breathless. I wanted to break this kiss already but... Meimei...
Meimei poked her tongue in me and started to maneuver it inside my mouth, making me feel more weirder than I already was. I was almost out of breath but at the same time, I didn't want it to stop. I kept my eyes closed as our tongues were engaged in a war. We were getting even more intense until...
"Woah!!!... hold up...!!! I'm getting... breathless... Need... break..." I finally broke the kiss.
"E-Eh..."
"Mou... Meimei... I... almost... died!!!"
"Sorry... You... alright...?" Even Meimei got breathless.
"Yeah... give me... five..."
After we finally catch our breaths, we made our way up to the classroom since lunchtime was ending. Meimei seemed more brighter than when she was alone at the garden earlier so I was glad. I know that deep down she was still very sad and worried for her best friend, but I think she felt better because... of me.
"Ummm... Kanon, when I kissed you the other day, was that your... first?"
"Y-Yeah... Too bad it wasn't yours."
"E-Eh? It was my first time too, you know..."
"Eh? You're serious?"
"I am... I never kissed anyone before, except you..."
I thought back about the time when my classmate brought a news about Meimei kissing. If Meimei was telling the truth, then I guess that the news was just a... rumor. Well, I wouldn't know...
"I see... That's great then!"
"You're weird. Hurry up, let's go back to class!" Meimei grabbed my hand as we walked up towards our classroom.
From then, we gotten even closer and spent more time together. Our love story continues to wherever life brings us.
I never expected to fall in love with someone at first sight, but it really came true. I never believed in it, but it do exist.
And my love for Sakai Mei has proven it.

[Mei's POV]I looked at my phone's clock: it was 1125. That means I had 5 more minutes to prepare myself before going out.
I checked myself on the mirror once again. My gown was perfect, my makeup was perfect, everything was perfect, except for one thing. My face. I looked too stiff and nervous. Even when I tried to smile, I ended up looking awkward.
I told myself, "This isn't going to work! What should I do?"
However, I couldn't turn back to time so I had no choice but to proceed with the wedding with my never-ending nervousness.
Yes, I said that right. Wedding. Yes, wedding.
In a few moments time, I'm about to get married. Married to the woman I love. Married to Kimoto Kanon.
What Kanon told me yesterday made things worse for me. What does she mean by "I have a surprise for you!"??? Thanks to that, I couldn't sleep well.
"Come on, Mei-chan. It's time."
"Eh, but Ami-san... I-It's not even 1130 yet..."
"By the time we go out it'll be 1130 so let's go!"
"Eh..."
My phone on the table suddenly vibrated so I told Ami-san to hold on so I could attend to the message that I received. Well I could read it later when the ceremony is over but I needed to buy time. I unlocked my phone and read the message.
"From: Unknown number
Groom-san~ Oh, wait, is it Bride-san??? wwww Anyways, don't forget to smile later, okay? You need to show your precious dimples to everyone in the hall. They're really cute, you know? I'm sure your bride will be happy to see you smile so brightly on this auspicious day. I can't wait to witness it! See you~"
I read the message five times so that I was sure I wasn't misreading it. The way the message was typed was too familiar for me not to know who it was from.
It was definitely her.
"Ami-san, let's go! Hurry up!" I dashed out of my room and rushed towards the wedding hall.
"Hey, wait up! You're wearing a dress for goodness sake!"
We finally reached the wedding hall and my heart started to race once again but because of two things this time round. I was in front of the door, waiting to enter the wedding hall when the ceremony begins.
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah, hurry up already!" I grew impatient.
"Woah, weren't you nervous like 10 minutes ago?"
"Don't ask so many questions!"
"Fine, fine... Let's go."
The door was opened and I could feel the bright light from the hall shining on my eyes. The first person I saw was... Kanon.
Kanon was right there standing with the priest as I slowly make my way down the aisle. I couldn't get my eyes off her. She was like... an angel, wearing that long white wedding dress. She was so beautiful that I forgotten to smile as I walked halfway.
Wait... Smile... I totally forgot about it! That message!
Suddenly I reverted my attention to Kanon's bridesmaid who was standing right next to my bride. She was wearing a simple white dress, but that wasn't what I was paying attention to. The bridesmaid was staring at me with a huge smile that I dearly missed. Seeing her like that made me smile too, just like what I was told in the message.
And now, right in front of me, are two people who are the most treasured in my life.
The bride, who is my lover...
and the bridesmaid, who is my best friend...
