hmm. if i recall, i saw Cop Out 2 days ago. some funny moments, but yeah... meh.

Saw the first 20 mins of Kick Ass, but my dad got bored... so he stopped it it watch Toy Story 2. I wanna finish kick ass.

I'd have to say my favorite movie this year so far is... Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Yep, i like it more than inception. Its a shame that its apparently bombing in the theatres.

---

Score one for the good guys, i convinced my gf to watch Machete with me! =D

Wasn't sure if I was gonna finish watching it, but I did.
Video game to movie just never really pan's out.

Terminator Salvation - 6/10

*SPOILERS*

Some of the action was pretty good, it is an action flick first and foremost after all. Everything else was rather tame. There was a certain point in the movie where I just thought how ridiculous the whole future setting of Terminator is. Like the machines have taken over the world, but not enough to know what John Connor looks like. They're smarter than humans, but not smart enough to just simply call Kyle Reese when he's captive in their own headquarters, and keep on wiping out humanity until the point that John Connor is eventually dead. I wasn't buying that the whole global war would end because of Skynet's HQ in San Fran but they kept on hammering that fact in to the point that I just accepted it. And then at the ending they did a 180 and say the battle's won but not the war! Lazy ass excuse for a sequel. But let's leave it at that shall we?

What the hell, Hollywood made a remake of Let the Right One In, called Let Me In.

Operation: Endgame 9.5/10
Chariot + observer guys Neil and Carl said enough one-liners to fill 10 movies. :heart: The security entrance scene at the start  :rofl:
Chariot even keeps pulling them off in the end credits. :bow:

And if a movie was made based on Parasite Eve's (1st game's) storyline, I'd love to see Hierophant (Emilie de Ravin) act Aya Brea.

In Bruges - 9/10

Darkly hilarious on top of what is essentially a tragic story of a man having to cope with the consequences of a crime he's committed. I've never seen Colin Farrell do such a great job. Great quoteable movie too. Definately recommend you go see it.

Just saw Ocean's Eleven. Yes, that's right, I haven't seen it until now. Pretty awesome heist flick, I must admit... though I'm absolutely dying to see the original now. Need to fix that as soon as possible xD;
The Soderbergh X Clooney combo made me think of Out of Sight throughout the film xD;;

Oh, and since I'm on a pinball high, I warmly recommend the documentary TILT: The Battle to Save Pinball. It's kind of sad, but well worth a watch if that kind of stuff interests you~~~! :D

Maggie Q in Nikita

Quote
The action-packed series centres on a spy and assassin (Maggie Q) for a top secret U.S. government agency, who rebels against the system that created her and will stop at nothing to bring their powerful operation to an end. Shane West and Lyndsy Fonseca co-star!

But I want to watch the HK Version from Nikita :p

and Part 2: Assassination of President Yeltsin

I just watched Agora, and I'm left completely speechless. How come I've never heard mention of this film before? It's a historical drama, and a pretty epic one at that, but don't let that scare you. It's fast paced, beautiful to look at, and has great storytelling. It's such a tragic story, though.. I felt so helpless in the end, I didn't know if the right response would be to cry or to smash things :(

It's essentially a story about pursuit of knowledge, but it's also very much a film about the relationship between religion and science. And that's where it gets complicated. I warmly recommend it!

haha That has to be fake. I refuse to believe it's real unless I see otherwise. They wouldn't make a Pokemon movie with guns and attempted suicide :lol:

Just saw Frozen, which actually was a lot better than I thought it would be. Were some parts I couldn't watch, because I'm squeamish about broken bones, but still 8D
I was thinking "huh, this is a horror/thriller that easily could have been made in Norway"... but then I remembered that people actually bring their phones when they go skiing here. You know, for safety reasons 8D

Grrr, my jealousy knows no bounds T_T;;; *sits twiddling thumbs until November* ... FRICKIN NOVEMBER!

... ehem, anyway. Just watched the made-for-TV film Monster. It was... completely different from what I thought it was going to be, but it was really, really good @_@; Beautifully shot, eerie soundtrack, interesting story, and also tongue in cheek about current events. Loved it!
