Maybe they have yet to lock me out because I haven't uploaded shit in a while.  Watch I get locked out once I upload these Gospeller albums.

It's pretty fucking stupid that they're offering this service, only to NOT be discerning about who they're locking out and why.  Has anyone complained to customer support or their forum yet?

Did you have any other DL's/UL's (torrents, YSI, etc) going at the same time that you were trying to use FF?  If so, then of course it will take longer.  FF works best when you don't have anything else going on your computer (at least it does for me).  Whenever I DL/UL something on FF, I pause all my torrents (and whatever else I got going) so it goes as quickly as possible.  And aside from that scare a few weeks ago when they were tweaking they're systems and all my files disappeared (for noobs, they did reappear afterwards), FF has never given me any troubles.

o yeh of course but my upload connection is slow anyway (25kb/s max). but not only that but it stopped half way through a couple of times. and the files i were uploading are like 300+MB

One trick that I do for ULing files is use a different browser.  Ever since I got Firefox I almost never use IE anymore.  Now when you UL something with FF, it gives you the "do not browse away from this screen" thing with the little status bar to show how your UL is progressing.  Since I use Firefox as my everyday browser, if I want to UL something to FF I do it on IE, minimize the IE window and just leave it alone.  Then I go back to Firefox and continue with my normal browsing.  It's just a little trick to ensure that I don't mess up or accidentally stall/shut down my UL.

If the file is copyrighted in a country that is a member of the world trade organization, then that copyright is valid in all other member states.  Ripping japanese music and tv and sharing it over the internet is just as illegal as doing the same with RIAA and MPAA properties.  The difference is that because this issue is a civil dispute the owner of the copyright must initiate the legal proceedings.  Japanese companies are unlikely to prosecute because it is a very costly procedure that is unlikely to deter pirating in America or Japan, but that doesn't make it any less illegal.

I do that as well, but instead of different browsers, i use a different computer O_O

Holy crap....has anyone seen the changes made to FileFront?

Now it's much easier to edit your file info, move and/or delete them, and to create sub directories.

The downside that I can see is that they apparently reset the number of downloads from my account.  Majority of my files were D/Led over 30 times, but now apparently, the most people downloading were 5 people.  

Whatever....FileFront is looking better, now I can organize my shit (well, once I start uploading again).

You know what dude?  When I had that panic attack when I thought I'd lost all the stuff I'd UL'ed to them, my "hosted" screen looked pretty much like yours does now.  Now I'm not trying to raise anyone's hopes here.  I'm just saying that it looks like what I got when it looked like my shit was gone, but then came back a few days later.

EDIT:  I just checked to see if my files were still up.  I tried DLing one of them and on the screen was a little box with this:
