Rika's orsm no matter what she looks like

as beautiful of a girl rika is, she still has flaws. whenever she has her hair like that, her face looks weird.

I am not sure if anyone has ever made this observation before (with all the posts I would bet someone has), but I want to give props to Tsunku. Just think about it, back in 2000 he had the vision to see the potential in a 15 year old girl with questionable musical talent and a lot of heart.

Could he have known that she would become the greatest Momusu idol in history (IMHO)?

Rika is so incredible that we discuss everything about her – her singing ability, her hair style, old school vs. new school, etc. – no matter how you analyse her you can not help but love her even more. I just felt the urge to express this feeling. It is cool to see how much we respect and admire her.

In terms of pure cutie-hottie appeal no one in Momusu is on par with Rika. In terms of current and past members my next favs in this area (way behind Rika) would be in order Mikitty, Gottchan, Ai-Chan, and Nacchi. I also think that Koharu Kusumi could be the next hottie to watch from Momusu – but that is still another 5+ years in the making

Tsunku has a knack for finding potential in the girls, that's one of the reasons I really don't question him about his audition choices.

The most amazing thing about Tsunku is that he sees the potential. He rarely chooses girls who are already stars. Tsunku picks girls who will shine in the future. And that's why the whole H!P is so interesting, it's amazing to follow the girls for years and see them get better and better every year. Tsunku also knows who is suitable for being an idol. That's why he picks girls like Rika, Konno, Sayumi etc. who aren't musically that talented but they are great idols. Rika would never get chosen for a real band but nobody can deny the fact that she's one of the greatest idols of our time. I have always been saying that Morning Musume with ten "Takahashi's" would be boring. Sure it would be musically superior compared to any line up but it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining. Idols are so much more than just singers. Anyways Tsunku is the man

You rarely see people analyzing other members as much as Rika gets analyzed. Everything she does gets talked about.

I agree. In my opinion Rika is one of the few H!P girls who can look both cute AND hot at the same time. Ayaya is another one.
