LOL.

The Bulls depth helps them in the regular season but playoffs are different. Despite the loss tonight, I think they can still get past Philly. After that, I see them losing in the semis.

Rose will probably miss half of next season too due to the torn ACL. Deng plans to have surgery on his wrist after the Olympics. So Bulls will be without both of them.

I'm Bulls fan, and i don't think that this is become their year
with Rose's healthy and possibly adding some of better players
with Rose and Noah injured, even if they could play it's not the best that they could give

Three games today where one of the teams from each matchup are facing elimination. Lakers vs Nuggets, Celtics vs Hawks, and Pacers vs Magic.

I am predicting Lakers, Celtics, and Pacers will win their series tonight. Pacers just won theirs.

Steve Kerr saying it better than I could have ever.

Quote
The Case for the 20-Year-Old Age Limit in the NBA

Even with a few NBA seasons under their belts, that lack of life experience and the backbone of a college education hampers many players' ability to handle adversity and/or make difficult decisions. (See Howard, Dwight.) The league would obviously benefit by its rookies arriving with a little more seasoning, both on and off the court, armed with a little more life experience to prepare them for the oncoming challenge. A more mature workforce means a stronger league. Even one extra year of college would help.

^ it brings up a lot of valid points and TBH they should either push the 20 year old rule or three years in college to prevent saturation of youth.  Although many who do end up in the NBA don't get the spotlight like before and end up giving up.  On the other side of the coin, the NCAA are greedy bastards and imagine if the rule applied 20 years ago, most will not taste the NBA who are in the league now.  Nothing is perfect look at football for instance but to produce value maturity is key

I've always been on the side of making the rule to be at least 20 years old for mostly the development argument. They'll be playing with and against players of similar or even better ability, and exposed to that level of competition for longer. How couldn't playing with people who are closer or better than them benefit them?

In other NBA news, although Memphis won tonight, I have a hard time believing that Chris Paul won't allow this series to go on any longer. I think his competitiveness rivals Kobe's, and the way he has been going so far in the postseason, I cant' bet against him. Also, I would love to see Tony Parker and Chris Paul play yet another playoff series against each other. Fuck, imagine if Paul actually went to the Lakers. They don't have Gasol from that trade, but the way that Bynum's game evolved this year, how Kobe's knees have kept him going, and how Sessions has given the Lake Show a PG that can create for them, if Paul was running that half-court game, I'm included to think that Bynum might have slightly better numbers this season, and I also think Kobe would still have averaged 27.9 PPG, but only on a few less shots (which would have kept his knees to take less abuse over the compressed season, which then would lead to Kobe to have more energy to take over tight games in the playoffs. A role that I think CP3 would be happy to take, because it would be easier on himself to not have to be the go-to guy then. In addition, this has been Kobe's best leadership year due with Mike Brown becoming head coach and having to keep his team together with Gasol's confusion from the vetoed trade and Lamar Odom's trade. It's not far to think that Kobe, when games got close, wouldn't defer to CP3 at times to make the right play.)

I just wrote in all hypotheticals. But shit, if I can't do that with sports, when can I?

Have to say I'm really disappointed by the Lakers & Celtics last night. They looked old and worn day compared to the youth of the 76ers and the Thunder. Hope for them to both bounce back.

And I hope the Clippers get smashed by the Spurs. coughcoughi'maneworleanshornetsfanandmustrootagainstchrispaulcoughcough

After watching the Lakers game, I wasn't surprised about the performance.  Given that they just finished a seven game series against a hungry Denver team (youth was a contributing factor but experience won over)  Boston in the two games looked sloppy and would be down 0-2 if it wasn't for Rondo pushing the team through game 1.

I fear more for the Western Conference series because whoever gains the advantage in game 2, the series will be quick to follow with back to back days of games so looking forward I wouldn't be surprised two teams being up 3-1 before return back to OKC/San Antonio (Dai knows who I want to be up 3-1 so no hiding it there but I have to cheer for the Lakers if they get past this series because there is not too much other teams I really care for beyond whoever is left XD)

After watching game 2, it was the Lakers game to win: controlled, low scoring, bang the boards.  However, going back to LA it may be a challenge to get two games on back to back nights.  I don't expect a sweep because that would be sad for them but they played a good game just home court won out over effort tonight

There was never doubt in my mind that Lakers will win this series. Even after the blow out, it wasn't a matter of fatigue WHO CARES they been playing all season.

Just a brain fart in the end. Durant made some wild defensive moves. THE FUCK IS MIKE BROWNS GAME PLAN AT??  :tama-mad: I BELIEVE! GO LAKERS GO Got the Game Plan, Thunder just held serve Give the ball to Kobe KLOSER to the basket. Kobe was like "I got the ball 27 feet from the basket with the shot clocking winding down...." BYNUMITE BEASTIN ARTST DIVING INTO CROWDS GASTRONG! Fire Mike Brown, that's all  i can say. Blake can't be put in that position when they were up by 7.

THATS WHY THEY PLAY SEVEN GAMES.

REAL teams have a very good halfcourt game and fast break game case in point. D'Antoni Suns. Run and Gun. Fuck Em. Go ahead, Blame it on Kobe. Fuel him up. Have Urkel ERRRRR Westbrook think he's MJ. and I'm a enter yer remix contest @MettaWorldPeace http://ronartest.com/contests/metta-world-mixtape-beat-contest splice in pieces of kuro's in depth basketball analysis.

At least Kobe didn't go Bag and pull a Wade.

this was called for a flagrant 1...should it be a 2 and a game suspension? Remember when Jason Smith of Hornets did something similar to Blake Griffin and got suspended 2 games for it.

WADE BEING A HYPOCRITICAL CRYBABY AGAIN!

Now he's complaining about how the Pacers "over-celebrated" after game 2. What a little punk. How do Heat fans feel? He was much better when he was playing with LO and Shaq. Now Lebron made him douchier than ever.

^ You bring up a good point but it does relate to balance and exploiting weaknesses in teams.  OKC and LA have chinks in their armor but the main difference is that looking at the teams and their players.  D'Antoni had the right players for the system but lacked defense.  Lakers had the right combination when Kobe had big men to play their offense.  San Antonio with Manu, Parker, and Duncan has their leadership matched with young players.  Reason why I feel OKC developed their team to become successful because this team has enough balance to win it all, they may have a fast break offense that can score a lot of points but they have tasted success and failure recently so they have a shot to make it there.

They do have a shot to win the series because LA has the right people to get there but because I don't have a favorite team, I tend to care less who gets there and even if I do hate the Lakers with a passion, I hate the NBA commissioner more for the CP III deal.  (Raw deal no matter how you look at it)  As for the Pacers, can you blame them for over celebrating?  Young teams take their cues from people before but not too many have tasted the success so it will happen once in a while, just let them celebrate.

Also, I hate how Western Conference has been predictable with LA, San Antonio, or Dallas in the NBA finals, OKC would be a nice change

What confuses me about Heat Pacers in Game 3 was why Miami kept going shooting 3s. Step in for the mid-range jumper. (Although Haslem's inability to hit a shot that is normally his all season bothers) Or attack the rim. Chalmers had those floaters and layups going. Yeah Hibbert's 7 foot 2 body is there but he can get into foul trouble like any other player.

But, give Indiana credit. Their defense was on point and offensively they were great. I thought that they would be in the whole "we're just happy we are here" type of mode. Fuck that. They came to play and want to win.
