damn ppl whine about kobe not getting the foul call towards the end of the game when he traveled before he got hacked on the head. i am glad lakers lost!

on the other hand, i am really looking forward to game 2 between the bulls and heat. bulls had their chances to win but they fucked it up wit silly mistakes. i dont know what Noc was doing wit that shot in the end when they had 17 sec left. Ben should've taken the last shot.

Suns can't contain Kobe forever. 8)

I'm proud the Lakers came back from like 15 - 18 down. to draw so close. Luke Walton, Brian Cook, Smush Parker. All contributed. Lakers will even it up and  then take a 3-1 lead in Staples. If they actually contained Tim Thomas and his fuckin 3's in the 1st. Lakers woulda won it.

The same can be said about Udonis Haslem and his foul complaints. Hope he doesn't get suspended. Joey Crawford is a lil bitch but yaw. can't throw shit at a ref haha.

and how about EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE!!

Pretty solid game against the Mavs, tying it up early with the 3's.

Congard to Avery Johnson, winning the coach of the year award!

Congrats to AJ!! He put the "D" back in Dallas ROFL. Still, Phil Jackson shoulda got more votes for taking a Laker team everyone counted out! and more...NBA Award Rumors:

http://www.insidehoops.com/nba_rumors.shtml

Quote
"Avery Johnson will be honored with one of the NBA's two biggest individual awards today when he is named the league's coach of the year, numerous sources said Monday." Dallas Morning News

"However, the league's other major piece of hardware – the MVP trophy – will elude Dirk Nowitzki, a source said. While it was unknown who will win the MVP, it will not be Nowitzki, who was lumped with Phoenix's Steve Nash, Cleveland's LeBron James, Detroit's Chauncey Billups and the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant as legitimate candidates." Dallas Morning News

"In addition to Nowitzki, Jerry Stackhouse was a prime contender for the league's sixth-man award, but he, too, came up short." Dallas Morning News

The Dallas Mavericks have called a press conference for today at 1:45 p.m., presumably to announce that Avery Johnson has won the NBA's Coach of the Year award." InsideHoops.com

....You DON'T wanna piss off Kobe. Be prepared to get shitted on Tim Thomas.

Quote
Tim Thomas admits he got away with whacking Kobe Bryant in the head at a critical point in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.
...
He also acknowledged responsibility for the knot on Bryant's head.

"I definitely fouled him," Thomas said Monday. "I got away with one, but I didn't do it intentionally. It wasn't like I threw a jab at him."

Breaking News. Too bad they may not make the formal announcement for two weeks. It would have been nice to see Nash get that MVP Trophy in front of Kobe. Kobe would be pissed!! How many MVPs have Jordan shoulda won? Hell Kobe still might go crazy based on the reports. Can't wait for tonight!!! GO LAKERS!!

well i dont know if nash deserves it or not, i am happy for him. even if nash didnt win it, kobe wont be the one wit it.

how about tonight's game, although i only watched the last 8 minutes of the game, the refs didnt everything possible to even things out for the lakers. two non-calls in the end was incredible.

one thing why SUNS wont be going far into the playoffs is their lack of defence. they were fucking cold tonight except for nash and bell maybe. when their only reliable threat is gone, they are totally exposed.

Lakers beat the Suns 99-93!! Same fuckin game plan. This time better executed cuz Kwame made some shots and Sasha (Future #8) made some sick THREES and held Nash in check - who acted a bitch when Sasha hit him and Kobe, the consumate leader came in to defend his teammate.

Whole new fuckin ballgame now!!

I still can't believe the MVP votes. Nash won by a landslide. Lebron was liek second with 11 1st place votes. I don't think Kobe got a sniff. The way everyone is on LBJ's cock is like whoa. He decided to pass instead of shoot. WHATTA TEAMMATE! :puke: Hey, one more rebound and he could got a triple double to add to the 26 points and 10 TURNOVERS. The Media Hatred is pathetic. Listening to Dan Patrick (who WTF gets a vote too) go on and on "what does valuable mean" ... add more fuel to the fire to Employee #24 8)

Damn, that was a close call on the Kobe dunk.  My opinion is it was a charge but whatever...no point arguing over the call now.

Here's a gif of it if you want to save the dunk vid.

^It was definiately a charge...no doubt about it. Nash's feet were set and outside the circle, but hell, it was one sick ass dunk!! Everyone was all over the place so it was hard for the ref to get a clean look... everyone was goin for the loose ball, Odom dished to Kobe with his ass on the floor, and Kobe posterizes Nash.

1-1 and LA got home court. LAKERS BABY!!!

well the only way to argue that call was the fact nash slide under kobe which is sth that u cant do. i guess the refs saw it that way.

Damn Pacers win...Jermaine had one heck of a game last night. C'mon JKIDD! C'mon VC!

Did you see MJ at the Bulls game? He was so excited. I saw him banging on the walls when the Bulls made a great play. It was pretty cool to see him cheering for a team. Come out of retirement MJ!!!! :P

Dunno why y'all can't just enjoy a nasty ass dunk. It's a block according to the rulebook. Nash is a known flopper. And it WASN'T a charge. According to NBA Rules: http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_c.html?nav=ArticleList

Quote
..A defensive player is not permitted to move into the path of an offensive player once he has started his shooting motion.

A defensive player must allow a moving player the distance to stop or change direction when the offensive player receives a pass outside the lower defensive box.

A defensive player must allow an alighted player the distance to land and then stop or change direction when the offensive player is outside the lower defensive box.

A defensive player is permitted to establish a legal guarding position in the path of an offensive player who receives a pass inside the lower defensive box regardless of his speed and distance...

So, by rule you are NOT allowed to UNDERCUT a person in flight.
