Found out today that Metallica and Lou Reed are getting together and releasing an album this month. Now...it's not what you expect. Kirk has even said it's a musical project. An experiment. So try to come into it open minded. Having said that, I don't like it at all

While on the subject of weird crossovers, how about Zach Wylde collaborating with William Shatner, doing a cover of Iron Man? Seriously.

not that much into this whole modern instrumental metal thing, but I really enjoyed this album. It offers a nice fusion of metal with many other musical genres ranging from jazz to techno.
