Had to give up 3rd liner Marty Reasoner (who was what was left from the Doug Weight trade) - dude just got 30 stitches from a puck off the head but man. more depth in the top 2 lines!! BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS! Spacek. Tarnstrom. Roloson. Peca. Pronger. WOO HOO!

Canucks picked up a lot. esp. on the defense and Buffalo's Noronen.

The sweetest part of Toronto missing the playoffs (I live in the land of the Leafs - but I am a born and raised Canadians faithful from Montreal) is that my Habs cleaned their asses out the last 2 meetings (5 to 1 and 6 to 2).

Thanks to the Habs Toronto can spend the playoffs thinking about what might have been and why they suck so bad.

As a bonus I think the over-rated Pat Quinn needs to take a hike. After this year I would not expect to see him back in Toronto. I hope they also keep him away from the Olympic Team as well. I don't think players respond to his coaching very well.

The Habs might not go far in the playoffs (if they can hold on to 8th spot) - but they did alright considering the turmoil with the team (Theo) and coaching this year.

As a Canadian I think Ottawa will be the team to watch, but if Montreal can get by them – ooohh baby that would be sweet. But I can get behind Edmonton or Vancouver for national pride if need be (as long as I am never asked to support Toronto).

Oilers grab ANOTHER CRUCIAL TWO POINTS! 4-3 SO win. Roloson finally got his mask painted.

and proceeded to start in his 10th straight game. I'm proud of the coaching staff who left him in there for this game. The shootout, he stoned Sakic, Tanguay, and Laaksonen!!! Best part. Calgary lost!
