Chapter 11


It’s been several days Acchan did not seeing Takamina after the incident in the room. She was confused with her own feelings. What did she feels for her?
After she parts her lips from the sleeping Takamina’s that night, she falls asleep. Maybe she could not stand the alcohol anymore. When she wake up in the morning, she quickly stormed out of the house and goes home.



Shinoda’s mansion

One night, the owner of the mansion was waiting at the dining room, waiting for all the member of the house to sit on their own place. Looks like there’s something wrong when Mariko sitting at her place with a serious expression.
All of the members already there, only to wait for Mariko to speak.
Shinoda Mariko let out a soft sighed before start her talking.
“Maeda Atsuko how’s business?” asked her by calling her with a full name.
Everyone now it’s unusual when Mariko-sama, calling them with their full name.
“G-good.” Replied Acchan shortly doesn’t know what else to tell.
Mariko silent for a while.
“Maeda Atsuko, let me ask you again, how’s business?” She asks the same question again to Acchan. Acchan confused why she ask it again.
“B-business is going well.” Answered her again. The truth is she didn’t know what happen to their business lately. She gave it all to Sasshi to handle it after the last fight they had.
 “Sasshi, how’s business? Tell me the truth.” This time she asked Sasshi the same question.
Sasshi nervously telling her the truth.
“O-our b-business…was d-down. Many other mafias had disrupted our business. They also take away some of our clients.” Tell Sasshi nervously afraid that she will get scolded by Mariko-sama.
Acchan who was sitting beside Sasshi shocked when she heard about their business.
But she keeps silent as she doesn’t know what to say.
“Did you hear that, Atsuko?” asked Mariko to Acchan who was startled.
“Y-yes. I’m sorry.” said Acchan knowing that she had not been taking care of the business even though she already has Sasshi to help her.
 “Seriously, what are you doing all this time? “Mariko asks her.
“I’m…I…I’m sorry…” Acchan sighed. She doesn’t to tell anything that related to Takamina.
The only person who knows about it is only Black, who was only keeping silent sitting across Acchan, beside Rena.
She understands why Acchan did not tell Mariko the truth, she wants to protect Takamina.

“Who is she?” asked Mariko to Acchan making her confused.
“S-she? Who are you talking about?” ask Acchan hoping that Mariko doesn’t mean that the one she means is Takamina.
“Atsuko, don’t lie to me anymore. That girl who was always with you recently, who is she?” tell Mariko and asking her again.
‘How did she know?’ thought Acchan.
She hesitated before answering.
“She’s my friend.  How did you know about her?” asked Acchan really curious.
“*sighed* I have my way…friend…huh~” replied Mariko with a small smirked on her face.
“Anyway, from now on, I want you to focus on our business and bring back Rappappa’s reputation. Rena, I want you to help her but remember, control yourself.” Tell Mariko.
“And Black…focus on your job, we don’t want to lose Watanabe Hiroshi as our client.” Said Mariko.
“Maybe I can help too, since I only work during the day, I can help our business at night. Beside, being a bodyguard is not that tiring though.” Said Black.
“If that what you want then. Remember, don’t expose yourselves too much.” Replied Mariko.

There were more that she wants to talk to them, but she want to take things slow.

After the meeting at the dining room they all go to their room. Except for Mariko who was still
Sitting alone at the dining room.

It’s been a week Acchan focusing herself on their business.
She told Black to tell Takamina that she’s busy and couldn’t play with her.
Even though Acchan mostly worked at night, she also spends her day working…
To stop herself from thinking about her.






One night,

Jurina and Mayu were going to convenient store to buy something.
On their way home, they decided to walk on a dark alley.

It just for fun.

Suddenly, they were being cornered by gangsters.
Jurina quickly put herself in front of Mayu because Mayu don’t know how to fight meanwhile she had learn martial skills.
“Yabai~ Jurina~ what are we going to do now?” whispered Mayuyu to Jurina who had her back facing Mayuyu.
“Two girls…walking alone in a dark alley…aren’t you scared?” said one of the guys smirked.
 Jurina and Mayuyu still quiet because they were thinking of a way to escape from them.
Unfortunately, the guys started their moves by walking closer to them.

“We have no choice.” Said Jurina then start to attack them.
Even though she knows how to fight, but it’s not enough to defeat 7 big guys alone.
Jurina started to get exhausted and the gangsters took this opportunity to beat her while Mayuyu just watching don’t know what to do.
She tried to fight them but instead one of the guys holds her while the others still fighting Jurina.
“Jurina!!!” shout Mayuyu when Jurina got beat by them.


Meanwhile

Black and Rena coincidently walking on the same alley when they heard someone’s screaming.
‘It sounds like Mayuyu…’ thought Black while looking around.
“Looks like someone are in danger…” said Rena.
Then they both went to where the sound comes from.
When Black saw Mayuyu she quickly run to the guy who hold her and kick him.
“Are you okay?” asked Black to Mayuyu.
“J-Jurina…” Mayuyu only look at Jurina who got beat.

Then one of the guy who beat Jurina suddenly scream in pain.
It was Rena who broke his arms making him groaned.
“I will kill you all!!!” said Rena with her Gekikara laugh.
Mayuyu with her mouth open looking at the scene while Black gave the rest to Rena to handle it.
Then Rena looks at the rest of the gangster.
And after that she turns her head to Jurina who already lying down on the ground.

‘She looks familiar.’ Thought Rena staring at the young girl.

One of the guys tries to punch Rena but Rena quickly realized it and stops his hand before it reaches her.
Then she finished them all in a short time.
The rest of the gangster already runs away.

Rena walks to Jurina who still on the ground with bruises all over her body.
She examines the young girl’s face.
Before she could touch her face, Mayuyu run to Jurina.
Rena stepped back to give a space for Mayuyu.
“Jurina! Are you okay?” asked Mayuyu holding Jurina in her arms.
“Ugghh~ I’m…okay~” said Jurina feeling the pain on her body.
“Let’s bring you to hospital-“said Mayuyu.
“N-no! I’m okay…let’s just going home…” said Jurina trying to get up but she fall back.

Mayuyu only sighed at Jurina.

“Fine~ Black, help me.” Said Mayuyu.
When Black is helping Jurina to get up, Rena was still in her deep thought that she didn’t realize that Jurina was looking at her.

After Jurina got up on her feet while her arms both on Mayuyu and Black’s shoulder, she still looking at Rena like she’s trying to figure out something in her mind.




Flashback
Rena going back home after school
When she entered the house, it was all mess.
The furniture was broken, there’s blood everywhere.
It seems like something had happened in this house.

Then she started running to her parent’s room to look for them.
She saw her mom and dad already on the ground with blood on their body.

“Mom! Dad!” shout Rena running towards them while crying.
“R-rena…g-go away…bring Jurina with you...w-we hide her in the store room…go now!” said her dad with pain.
“but-“
“Please…my dear, I...I’m sorry t-to hide this from you…actually-“
“I know it already dad, mom…don’t worry, I will always love you!” said Rena crying her eyes out.
“Thank you dear…please, t-take care...of Jurina…”before her father talk more, the sounds of footstep were heard from outside the room.
“G-go now Rena!!!” said her mother.

Rena quickly runs to the store room without being caught by them.
Jurina who saw her sister quickly run to her.

“Rena-ch-“
“Shhhh!!!” said Rena to Jurina while put her hand on Jurina’s mouth.
Rena quietly brought Jurina out of the house without being noticed and run far away from there.

Once they were safe and far from the house, they stop and take a rest for while.
“Rena-Chan…why are we running? Let’s go back to our house~” said Jurina who’s still a kid.

Rena bent down to the same level with Jurina and said,
“We can’t go back there Jurina. Let’s find a new place to live…”
“B-but, how about mommy and daddy?” asked Jurina innocently.

Rena was trying to hold her tears.

“Mom and dad are okay. For now, let’s find a place to sleep tonight okay?” said Rena to Jurina while holding both her hands.
“Un…”
She felt relieved that Jurina is a good kid and listening to her.
‘I promised mom, dad…I’ll take care of Jurina…’ said Rena to herself’

Chapter 12


Let’s continue the flashback~

That night, Rena found a place for both her and Jurina to stay for the night.
It was a cheap motel and Rena begged the owner that she would pay her when she found a job.
At first, the owner declined them but seeing Jurina still a kid, she had a pity on them so she gave them a room.

‘I need to find a job tomorrow morning to pay for the rent…’ said Rena to herself while lying on the bed beside the sleeping Jurina.
Then she looked at Jurina that already sleeping due to tiredness after long running.
She stroked her hair softly without waking her up.
“Even though you are not my real sister…but you still my family…mom and dad were probably gone now…I’ll protect you Jurina…” said Rena
as the tears falling to her cheeks.

That early morning, Rena woke up early so that she can find a job.
She told Jurina to stay in the room and don’t go out because she’s afraid that the people that kill their parent might be searching for them.
Fortunately for her, she found a job that morning and she had to start right that morning also because the boss needed a worker.
She worked as a waiter at a restaurant.
It was hard because it’s her first time working thus never have an experience.
But she keeps on working hard as she needs money as soon as possible.
After work, she earned some money from her boss and she uses that to buy food for Jurina.

.
It’s been a month they had live like that. Rena has stopped her school since she had to take care of Jurina.
Jurina always asking her about their parent, she keeps telling her that they are fine.
She had to lie to her since Jurina still too young to bear the pain she already felt.

It was a usual day as Rena coming back to the motel as she finished working.
As soon as she arrives there, she heard the sound of Jurina crying out loud.
She quickly runs inside to see why her sister is crying.
She was shocked when she saw a two man with black coat holding Jurina while Jurina is struggling with them.
As soon as Jurina saw her sister, she cried even louder.
“Rena-Chan!!!” shout Jurina crying for help.
“Jurina!!! Let her go!!!” shout Rena mad trying to take Jurina from them.
But Rena was not strong enough that she got kick by one of the big man.
Still she did not give up that easily. She kicks his ball and the man couldn’t say anything as he is holding where he got kick.
Then she jumps on the man that holding Jurina and bites their ear.
The man was screaming in pain and he have to let go of Jurina to take Rena off him.
He then grabs Rena’s hair and pulled her hair making Rena scream.
He pushed Rena away. Rena saw a long stick near her so she take it
then goes to the man who try to get closer to Jurina and beat him from behind.
She keeps beating him with the stick. The other man gets up and Rena saw it so she beat his balls for the second time.
Rena quickly takes Jurina’s hand and running out of the motel while the two man still struggling with pain.
When they were out, Rena looked around to make sure that there was no black-coat man outside.
After that, Rena and Jurina run for their life afraid that those man is chasing them from behind.
After a while running, Rena look behind them and see the man is nowhere to be seen.
It seems like they are in safe place. Both of them are panting hard due to the running.
“Rena-Chan…I’m tired~” said Jurina panting.
“*pant* Jurina, let’s rest here for a while…okay*pant*” said Rena to her while kneeled down hugging her sister.
‘I’ll protect you no matter what happen Jurina.’ Said in her mind.
While they were still hiding, Rena suddenly saw one of the black-coat men from afar walking around like looking for them.
Rena was thinking of a way to get them out of the place.
Then she saw a van near them. She thinks of an idea.
They go to behind the van and open the back of the car and she put Jurina inside.
She told Jurina to keep quiet and when she was about to goes in, she heard a man from behind her.
It was him.
“Jurina, don’t go out okay until I come here okay.” said Rena to her.
“Un.” Nodded Jurina.
She quickly closed the back door of the van.

Then she faces the man.
“If you want to kill me, just kill me, don’t kill my sister!” shout Rena to him.
The man walked to her. Rena thought he wants to kill her but he instead walk passed her.
Then Rena quickly stopped him by jump on him.
The man hit Rena making her fall. Then there comes the other man from behind.
They all beating and punch Rena.

Meanwhile Jurina felt like her sister is taking so long time outside.
But then she felt like the van she was inside is moving.
Feeling worried about her sister, Jurina look out from the back window to call her sister.
When she looks outside, she saw Rena lying down with the man still beating her.
While Rena could only gave a sad smile to her sister when she saw the vehicle is bringing her sister away.
Jurina was too shocked to cry or say anything when she saw her sister got beat by those bad people.


‘Good bye, Jurina.’ Said Rena in her mind.

End of flashback

[How Rena became Gekikara?? Hmmm…stay tuned until next next next next next update~ ]

Present
Jurina already in her bed resting but her mind is still somewhere else.
“Seriously, why you guys use that road when there is a safe and short way to our house. Now look what happen! If Black and her friend were not there to help you, I don’t know what would happen to you two!” whined Miichan enter the room and cleaning on her wounds.
‘Here comes the mother of the house~’ said Mayu in her mind while standing in the room beside Black.
Rena is standing beside the window looking at Jurina.
She is still thinking whether the one that she looked at now is her long lost sister.
‘Should I just ask her? I’m afraid she doesn’t remember me. Or is she not my Jurina…’ thought Rena.

“Mayu, I need to talk to you.” Said Black to Mayu while walking out of the room.
Mayu still standing in her position.
Realizing that, Black stopped at the door and look at her.
“Nezumi...” called Black to Mayu.
Mayu sighed and then followed Black.

After the small talk, Mayu back in the room with a pout face.

“We have to go home, Rena.” Said Black at the door.
Jurina suddenly stopped her deep thought when she heard Black calling that name.
Rena walks to the door.
She suddenly stopped walking and looked at Jurina like she wanted to talk to her.

They are looking at each other as they can felt there is something between them.
Rena couldn’t speak out any words so she just walk out of the room and go home.

“It’s all thanks to both of them that you are still alive right now…” said Miichan continuing her lecture.


“Rena…..chan.” said Jurina in a low voice but still could be heard by Miichan.
