Chapter 6
It’s Sunday noon, around 1:48 pm I heard a knock on my door and when I open it, it’s Sae holding some plastic bag.
“Ohh, Sae”
I said, she just smile at my reaction and kiss me on the cheek and give me the plastic bag then she entered in my apartment.
“I’m back!!! Did you miss me?”
she said, I just smile at her and nodded my head. I look up what’s inside the bag and pulled out the contents
“Kani?”
I asked, but she just smiled at me and signal me to come closer to her
“yeah kani, since you didn’t say anything I just buy you a kani. That’s the town specialty”
She said, then I smile at her and clasp my hand
“Hmm I should cook it then?”
I said, Sae just widen her eyes and snatch the bag of kani of me. And make me sit in the living room, while she open the TV and smile at me
“Nee Yuki I think I should cook it since it’s my gift for you ehh”
She said, and go to the kitchen and prepare our meal. I try to enter my kitchen but Sae push me out. I know I’m not a good cook but I can help her out right? I tried to offered her some help but she just kiss me and make me sit on the living room again.
after some minutes, Sae then called me in and show me her dish. It’s looks good and taste good, we talked about her trip and my activity while she’s gone. After our meal, she help out cleaning our mess, while I’m washing the dishes Sae suddenly hug me from behind and started kissing my neck, I giggled from her action
“What’s wrong Sae?”
I asked her but she just kiss my ear and whisper to me
“Yuki I miss you”
I just looked at her, then I saw her eyes, it looks like sad, and lonely. I just give her a reassuring smile
“Sae it’s just three days”
I said, but she hold my chin give me a passionate kiss, I broke our kiss because of lack of air. While I was trying to catch my breath she touch my cheek and make me look at her
“It’s not that, It’s just you been cold to me lately”
she said, while looking down. I smile at her and give her a kiss
“Really?”
I asked, but she grab my arm and started to cry, I panicked when I saw her so I give her a hug
“Sae why are you crying?”
I asked, but she let go of my arm and sit from the ground
“It’s just that, I’m feeling really insecure right now, and I don’t know why. I feel like I’m slowly losing you Yuki, and I don’t want that”
She said while her tears slowly dripping from her face. Then I suddenly remember Kumi. Is Sae feeling what Kumi feels like in Kanon?

(flash back remember chapter 4)
After I accompany Mayu, I don’t feel like going home so I decided to go to the park, It’s dark I don’t think there’s a lot of people gonna come to the park at night. It’s the perfect place for me to clear my mind, while I was driving to go to the park I saw Rena in the side road talking to her phone, and her expression seems like in trouble. So I park my car and go to her
“Rena”
I said when I approach her, she look at me and give a worried look
“Yuki, I think Kumi’s in trouble”
she said, while still trying to call Kumi
“huh?! What do you mean?”
I asked her, then she showed me her phone,
“Kumi called me earlier and she sound weird and she’s trying say something about Kanon, but when I asked her what’s wrong? I suddenly heard a glass breaking sound and our call had been cut off”
Rena said fast, I almost didn’t understand her. So I offered her a ride in Kumi’s apartment to check on her. When we arrive there, It seems quiet, so Rena tried to knock Kumi’s door, but it suddenly opened allowing us to entered
“Excuse me…ehh!!!””
Rena scream, so I run beside her and look to where she’s looking. The whole room is a mess, broken glass everywhere and you could easily smell the stench of alcohol, broken bottle of vodka, broken vase other things could be seen from the room. And there’s Kumi in the middle crying.
“Kumi”
Rena whisper, then approach the girl in the middle of the room. And hug her, Kumi just continue her cries on Rena’s shoulder
“What happened?”
I said while checking on Kumi if she’s have any injuries
“It’s over”
Kumi said while sobbing, Rena and I look to each other first and nodded our heads
“What’s over Kumi?” Rena ask in a soft voice
“Kanon hates me now”
Kumi said and her cries got more worst, Rena just hug Kumi tight while I just rubbed her shoulder to calm her down
“Ehh why would Kanon hate you? You two are the perfect couple”
I asked, Kumi just look at me with her red and teary eyes
“Were not perfect, since she graduate college, she become cold to me, I always try to brushed it off, but It hurt me. I know she’s tired form work, and a busy with her own career, but she didn’t even call me, like it used to be”
Kumi said, Rena just grab Kumi and let her cry on her shoulder
“H-How??you two have been dating since middle school” Rena asked
“That’s one of the reason, I’m afraid. What if she got bored with me and want to try someone else, what if is fell inlove with some other girls. What if she tried to have sex with a man and actually like it. I could never win against that. I been with her since middle school, I don’t know what to do if I lost her”
Kumi said and wiped her tears, Rena and I just hug her
“What actually happened, why did you fight?” I asked
“I was waiting for Kanon after work, I want to surprised her and pick her up and go watch some movie or something, But to my surprise, when she got out from the building there’s a man resting his arm around Kanon’s shoulder, and smiling at her, I just rust and push the man off Kanon. Then started punching him, Kanon tried to stop me and separated me from the man, when I look at her she have tears in her eyes, I came closer to her but she slapped me and called me “Baka” I just run and drive my way”
Kumi said, I and Rena just looked at each other
“Kumi I think you should talk to Kanon to know what’s going on”
Rena said and I just nodded, Kumi just look at us with anger in her eyes
“No!!”
Kumi shout and get up and started pushing us out of the room
“But Kumi!!”
I said, But Kumi still didn’t listen and finally able to push us out to the room and close the door shut.
“Yuki I’ll just handle this tomorrow, I think It’s just a misunderstanding, Kumi become really insecure and stupid when it comes to Kanon ehh. And she doesn’t even think strait”
Rena said with a smile, I just nodded my head and let Rena handle this
(end of flashback)

I grab Sae’s arm and make her stand up and brush some of her bangs on her forehead.
“Sae I’m sorry If I make you feel insecure, but you don’t have to worry about that I’m by your side right?”
I asked, and she just nodded and kissed me. But I suddenly remember flash of Mayu’s Image in my brain.
“You’re right Yuki, I don’t have to worry over nothing. And it’s late I need to go home .”
Sae said, then get up and started to leave. I just looked down “Why did I see Mayu’s Image?” I asked my myself. I felt guilt when I look at Sae’s back. I run to her and pulled her in
“Yuki!?”
she said, shock for my sudden action
“Sae please stay the night here”
I said and started kissing her with passion, she just reply my kiss with the same amount and lay me on the sofa and started removing my clothes. “I love Sae, right?” I asked myself, while we continue our action.
