Oh, BTW, thanks for Tanchan for the awesome picture for Ryuu (That white silhouette girl.)

BEGINNER
Game 2-The Rules
Ryuu was standing in front of Atsuko, wearing a big cross with chains on her neck. She wore a white frizzy piece, which match the background.
“I’m Ryuu.” The words were ringing through her ear, as she was kissing the cold floor. Everything was engulfed by the dark, after Ryuu, the white silhouette, bang the ground, forming a deep chasm.
“…The guider of the game, BEGINNER.”
Atsuko was still in her confused state, letting out a low groan because of her head had hit the floor harshly, leaving pain on her mind.
Ryuu stood there, muttering some words. A big screen popped out with a flash video like a cinema.
Atsuko looked up and saw there were some girls sitting there, wearing a collar that connected a small tube to nowhere. Orbs shined as she saw one girl sitting at the throne, her collar was connected with bunch of tubes, expressionless.
Every girl in the screen had no expression, like they had lost their soul.
“Takamina…” The girl that caught Atsuko’s eyes stared at the camera. Her orbs were sky blue, but the ace could recognize her lover everywhere, so that girl was definitely her.
The video focused another angle. This time, the ace gasped in horror. The black hair, blue eyes, those delicate fingers touching the game controller…
…It was her.
“What is the meaning of this, Ryuu? Why am I there but I am here?”
“…You’re confusing me, human.” Said Ryuu with a menacing tone.
“B-but…. I’m here but I could see myself there,” Atsuko pointed at the video, emphatic her words. “What is meaning of this!”
“You’re taking part in the game, and that was one of the rules.” Replied Ryuu with an enigmatic smile.
“Rules…?”
“Oh yes. Your body is there but your soul is here. That’s why you saw yourself on the screen.”
“But I have a body here…” defended Atsuko.
“That’s your temporally body, your real body is there. So, any injuries or wounds that you experience here are not going to effect on that body. That means even you got hurt you would not feel the pain.”
“Really? Nothing at all?” Asked the ace with a suspicious tone.
“Nah… well, a little maybe…”
“…”
“Talking about the collar…” The white silhouette quickly changed the subject, preventing her from asking more of the soul and body question. “Do you see that there was a tube connected to the collar?”
She nodded.
“That will be the qualification of you in the game. Once you are killed, the tube will automatic disconnect. And this means that you are not being able to take place in the game.”
“What if I lose?”
“You’ll die, officially.”
“So I’m half dead?”
“Yes, you have the chance of 50-50 to either lose or win the game.”
“So If I win the game, I get to be reborn and live again?”
“Correct.”
“…”
“But is not easy as you think. You have to fight with other players, as well as enemies.”
“What’ kind of enemies?”
“The one who create this game, of course.”
The screen vanished in the thin air, and everything went blank again. They were back in the same place, only to see that there were some weapons on the floor.
“Choose one, and be ready for the game. The others are waiting for you, last player.” Carefully, she took a box filled with bullets and wore it on her hand. Her clothes immediately change as she touched. The collar appeared on her neck.
“If this collar was destroyed, you’re disqualified, get it?”
Atsuko inhaled deeply, and opened her blue orbs slowly. There was a path, towards a big metallic gate, writing “BEGINNER”.
“I’m ready.” The ace pushed the gate, ready to fight off anything that stood in her way.

On the other part of this void space, a girl with brown hair was staring at Ryuu.
“What’s the meaning of this, Ryuu?” said Yuko with a menacing tone.
“As I said, you’re half dead.”
Yuko dashed forward and pulled down the cress of Ryuu. But, when she almost touched it, the white silhouette disappeared.
The squirrel was furious, she turned around franticly and eyes focusing searching on that midget. Suddenly, the midget appeared at her back, glaring hungrily at her, making Yuko shivered.
“Don’t. Don’t ever touch this cress, or you’ll be in hell in rest of your life.” Anger blazed in Ryuu’s heart, but quickly subsided as she saw Yuko was huddled on the floor.
“I’m sorry…” A soft mutter came out from Yuko’s mouth.
“Nah, I was the one who need to say sorry. I didn’t mean to frighten you.” Ryuu let Yuko buried in her embrace, comforting her.
The silence was ripped by a loud deafening alarm, signaling the game has to start soon. Yuko gathered herself, preceded to the metallic gate. Lips twitched into a smirk, she went through the gate without hesitation.
“Wait for me, nyan-nyan.”

A girl was sitting on a throne, playing with some puppets on her hand. Ryuu came in, greeted the ponytailed girl with manner, and gave the information of each player. She nodded softly, still playing with the puppets, especially the black hair puppet, was her most favorites.
“Yes, each player is ready to proceed.”
“Good. Then, shall we precede the game?” The girl in the throne chuckled lightly. The white silhouette bowed, vanished out from her sight.
She kept on twirling the puppet in her hand, gently kissed it and stared on it. She smiled. A wry smile formed across the ponytailed girl’s face.
“Sa, Acchan, what will you do? Could you win the game?”
A light chuckled.
Ehehe~ the game will start in next chapter, so....
be ready~~
