Chapter 2
Then suddenly our 34 minutes of quietness, broke when Jurina entered the hallways.
“You!!!”
she said, while crying and glaring at me. I just stared at her, and I could see all the anger in her eyes. It feels like she want kill me.
“PLANKK!!!”
I fall down when she slapped me, and I just stared at her, when I saw her eyes. For the first time, I felt scared like a prey being hunted by a predator.
“Hey you, why did you slap my girlfriend?!”
Sae asked, then approach Jurina and grab her collar. But Jurina just gave her a stare, that stare is so scary, if it could kill it will surely would kill me
“Get you’re filthy hand, off me!!!”
Jurina scream at Sae, then pushed Sae back. I just look at them, still processing everything. Jurina was about to attack me, but Kumi grab her, and trying to stop her.
“You, why did you came back?!”
Jurina scream at me while pointing her finger on me, Sae was about to attack Jurina, but Rena suddenly appeared out of nowhere and stop her.
“Hey!! Don’t talk to my girlfriend that way!!”
Sae said, Then continue their trash talk for several minutes. But all stop when, Takamina smack both of their head
“You two, be quiet, where in a hospital!!”
Takamina said, Yuko just sign then come near me.
“We need to talk”
Yuko said, I just nodded my head. Takamina and Kumi come with Jurina to get some fresh and still trying to clamed her down, while Rena talked to Sae. Nyan Nyan stayed near the E.R room just in case if the there’s any news about Mayu, while me, Acchan and Yuko go to the café near the hospital, to talk.
“Yuki, I think it’s about time, that you need to know the truth”
Yuko said, with a serious voice, and Acchan just nodded her head
“Huh?”
I just looked at them, waiting for them to talk
“It’s about Mayu”
Yuko said, then look at me. I just look down and tighten my grip on my skirt
“What about Mayu?”
I asked her, then Yuko looked at Acchan, then they both nodded their head
“I didn’t told anyone that Mayu save you from that accident Yuki, only I, Nyan Nyan, Acchan and Takamina knows it, do you know why?”
Yuko asked me, I just looked down
“Why did she save me? Why won’t you tell the others that I’m the cause of her accident, huh?”
I asked them, They just look at each others, then Acchan grab my hand and made me look at them
“Yuki, please forget the past and forgive Mayu, she only did that to save you”
Acchan said, I look at them, and my chest felt being tighten
“Yes, Mayu save me from that car, but I still can’t forget that she betrayed me”
I said to them, I felt tear drops fall from my eyes
“Yuki, Mayu never betrayed you, it’s just an act”
Yuko said with a serious voice, I look at them with my already swollen eyes
“Act? What do you mean by that?”
I asked them, then Acchan tighten her grip on my hand, And tell me the whole story, how they all act and proceed Mayu’s plan just to save me from my ex. While they telling me their story, all of my memories from highschool suddenly flashes right into my mind, when Mayu come to my house and kissed me and give me that beautiful smile, before she act to stole my boyfriend, all of my happy memories of her, also her beautiful smile that she always give to me. I felt my heart stabbed when they continue their story. I just cry, as I know all the pained that I had cause to Mayu came to me. After they finish telling me their story, I just look at them
“Why? Why Mayu did that?”
I asked them between my sob, Yuko just sign and smile to me
“Because you’re her bestfriend, she said, she wants to protect you”
Yuko said then smile to me
“How could I face Mayu now?”
I said between my sob, but Acchan and Yuko patted my back and my head
“Don’t worry about it, And beside her girlfriend and family doesn’t know that she save you”
Yuko said to me, I whipped my tear and look at her
“Girlfriend?”
I asked them, then Acchan and Yuko smile to me
“Yeah, Jurina is Mayu’s girlfriend, You should apologize to her later”
Acchan said, I just nodded my head, and followed them back to the hospital, But there’s something, I don’t know what, but feels kinda weird inside me
When we came back everybody looks clam, except for Sae and Jurina having a stare fight. When they saw me coming Sae rushed to me and hug me, while Jurina just give me again that scary stare that she give a few hours ago. I just came near Jurina and bow my head
“I’m sorry”
I sad to Jurina, but she just look at me, saying nothing
“Jurina, I told Yuki about Mayu’s secret in highschool”
Yuko said to Jurina, but Jurina just widen her eyes, and emitting a scary aura
“You told her?”
Jurina asked, But Yuko nodded her head and grab her arm and drag her to the corner. After some few minutes, Jurina came closer to me
“I’m sorry about that slap”
Jurina said, I just smile at her and gesture to her that it’s okay. After some few hours of waiting the doctor came out, and we all came to him
“How was she doctor?”
Jurina asked with a worried voice
“She okay now, just minor injury, but she broke her arm, she will just need a good few months of rest then will be fine”
The doctor said, then all of us sign in relieved. And Jurina called Mayu’s family to tell them the news.
Then we all rushed in to see Mayu, she sleeping like an angel, with some few bandage with her and a dextrose attached to her arm.

After a more than a week she still sleeping, Jurina just get out to buy something while the others have work. Only me, Jurina and Sae come here to stay with Mayu because it’s my day off. I send Sae outside to buy some lunch for the three of us.
“Hmm…”
I heard Mayu, so I came near her and hold her hand and look at her, She’s slowly moving her eyes, until it finally opened
“W- water”
she said weakly, so I give her water and assist her drinking it. After that she look at me
“Yuki”
She said, I just cried and hug her
“Ahhh….”
She said, I let go of the hug because I can see her pain when I hug her, and look at her, crying
“Sorry Mayu, I’m really sorry”
I said between sob, she just touched my face and whipped my tears using her thumbs. I look at her, she just give me a smile, but her eyes looks empty
“It’s okay Yuki”
She said, I grab her hand that touching my face and hold it tight, and kiss it. I kissed it and close my eyes
“No Mayu, since then all I do is cause you pain, and I can’t let that happen again”
I said, she let go her hand and make me face her
“so they already told you?”
I just nodded to her, and stare at her
“Mayu, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry”
I said, while crying, but she smile to me then look at me
“Yuki, I should be the one saying that” she said
“No, Mayu you just save me, and wake me up from my blindness ”
I replied to her, she just give a smile and stare at me, her eyes looks different, it looks empty, and dark, not the one that I remembered back then in highschool
“Yuki, can we still be friends?”
she asked me, I nodded my head
“Of course Mayu, you’re my best friend”
I said, but I heard something dropped, and when I looked it up, it’s Jurina. She looks like she about to cry, and rushed in and give Mayu a bear hug. Mayu eyes soften and hug Jurina’s back
“Mayu, … don’t ever scared me like that ever again”
Jurina said between her sobbed, Mayu just whipped Jurina’s tear and give her that look and smile, that she used to give me back in highschool.
I watched the two love birds reunited, I felt weird watching those two making love in front of me, So I just leave them alone, Then I felt a little pain in my chest when I remember Mayu’s empty stare that she gave me. I really miss Mayu’s smile her real smile, but I didn’t get any. She just gave it all to Jurina.

(A/N: Yuko didn’t tell Yuki’s about Mayu’s feeling back then in highschool, she just told her that Mayu love her as a friend, and did all that things because Mayu is her best friend)
why?
Of course Yuko wouldn’t tell that, she don’t want to ruin her Little sister love life, and beside She already asked Mayu if she moved on with Yuki, right?
